When the flipper was invented in '48 or so it immediately made everything else obsolete. They were selling these machines very cheaply and my dad bought one. As a child of 4 years old I played this machine for hours on end then later my dad granted my Christmas wish and got me a fluppered EM which I also loved.
Now I'm 69 years old and I have a fantastic collection. I can't tell you how much pinball have added to my life both in the past and now. I play several hours a day now that I'm retired. I'm so glad my dad planted that pinball seed so many years ago - I had a really great dad.
