Very underated game because it's a terrible tournament game and not many people have rated Shaq.
It's a players machine. Fun fast and classic 90s appeal. I love sports themed games and it holds its own. The artwork on the backglass, in my opinion, is awful and could have been so much better. More of a toy than a machine, but definitely doesn't play as a toy if that makes sense. It's all about fun and this is a fun machine. The spinning thing on the upper playfield is annoying and out of place. Harlem Globetrotters has a much better ruleset and is much more clear on scoring. This is a guessing game on scoring and needs a ton of play before you know what your doing. I own Shaq and have played him a few dozen times and I still have a guessing game going with the scoring. I'm going to have to take the glass off and play with it to see exactly what scores the most points.

Recently watched the entire series of STTNG on Netflix. I never got into it and haven't seen any other Star Trek series or movies. I loved the series and absolutely love the theme. The design and layout couldnt have been better!
Every aspect of the show and cast were perfectly placed and voice clips and sound hold true to the show.
The theme song can get repetitive, but I love it so I don't mind.
Fast, fun for all ages and a masterpiece of machine.
Lighting is weak for playing on the dark, but we'll lit area or LEDs will fix it to perfection.
My favorite of any pinball machine I played

Not terrible. My rating is gonna be so low because I hate the sound. The toy sound makes 6mdm feel more of a gimmick and I dont like the 80's Bally flippers compared to Williams. Its a decent game, but doesnt hold my interest and would only be great if you really appreciate Steve Austin and 6mdm. The backglass is colorful, bright and beautiful. The cabinet and playfield match the backglass and give it a nice popping appeal. The gameplay and layout are pretty good as well. The play and sound are just too meh and unless this is one of your first pins or you really love 6mdm its not worth buying or restoring unless you get a great deal. The playfield also has weird raised stickers over the lights on both machines that I owned. I sold one and was very happy when it sold. There was another one close enough from me for a great price and in better condition so I was made an offer that I couldnt refuse so now I still have a 6mdm and I already want to sell it before I even put the legs on him. there are just so many games that I like better and this never gets play when I have people over. Even though I dont really like it it was one of my first pins and I like many other collectors always have an attachment no matter how meh. Its again not terrible.

This is the first pinball machine I played on freeplay. Months later someone contacted me randomly from an ad I placed and Gorgar came to me. It was my first pinball machine and he found me. Gorgar is the reason I bought 8 pinball machines in the last year and the reason I started collecting. I got a great deal on Gorgar as I got 2 other arcades with it. All 3 were broken. I sold the 2 broken stargates and that paid for a New MPU, new rubbers and everything to get Gorgar running in great shape. The sound is GREAT! First talking pinball machine and also being a late 70's early 80's Williams makes it automatically have great sound. That generation of Ballys in my opinion has a gimmicky toy feel and those Bally sound terrible. The side art I never like on any of the earlier games, but the backglass is outstanding and the play field are is pretty good also. As a whole its an historic, monumental and important museum piece in the history of pinball. Old Williams machines are my favorite and the fun factor and theme are outstanding.
