From the start of getting a Space Station

When I was 16 in 1996 I played my first pinball machine and it was a World Cup Soccer 94. My parents own a motel and we had a game room that we always had video games. After playing I told my dad about it and the next thing I knew we were getting a Space Station. I remember when a bulb burned out and I opened up the game for the first time and found the manual and saw the System 11 on the cover all I could think was how many more games must there be if this was the 11th generation. How little did I know about what was currently being made by Williams let alone all the games that had been out.

Because the motel was seasonal we would be closed for the winter so I took the game to work as I worked at a computer repair shop and everyone loved it.

I started collecting vector based video games in 1998 and it was not until 2001 that I bought my first pinball machine. It was Sega Star Wars Trillogy and I drove 1600 miles to pick up. I have had many games that have come and gone.

About 6 years ago I traded a PinBot that I restored for the Space Station at the motel. Now it is part of my collection and will not be leaving. There is just something about that green GI multiball that it will always be my favorite.
