When I was a small boy my Uncle had an old pin in the basement and while the adults played cards I would watch the lights and play it some from time to time when he had it working. Fast forward 30 years and now my own son is about my the same age I was back then I walked him into the Louisville Arcade Expo to the sea of pins and other retro gaming there and he was so excited to play. I started researching things and not having an area I could work on things easily opted to look at the virtual pinball tables. After a year of looking at it and putting it off I finially took a dive into the pin world. On a Sunday morning flustered with work I hit craigs list and found someone selling an old Flight 2000 cab. It was in decent shape but the back glass and other things were missing. So I converted the cab into a virtual table. Taking care not to alter the cab in order to eventuallly restore the Flight 2000 pin to working order once I had time and an area to work on it. That is the story so far..and while the virtual table doesn't really play like the real thing it keeps that little flame alive and is fostering the next generation.

And yes you'll see some arcade controls there as well as I was only allowed enough room in the house for the one machine so I added Dragon's Lair into the Virtual table... ....Typing this story now makes me feel dirty ...I need to get the real thing sooner than later.
