Ghostbusters LE is the most difficult game I have in my collection. Art work, sounds and dots are second to none. Playfield has a nice layout. When you have a good ball going, the game is a blast to play. There's other times, where the ball just seems destined to go straight down the middle every time, making the game very aggravating to play.

My biggest complaint with the game is all the protectors that are needed. Air ball protector for the standup targets at the left ramp (I designed my own that works perfectly), hooked on pinball protector for the echo goggles, mezel mods sling shot extended protector to stop the ball from jumping the lanes, and mylar around the pop up targets. The right ramp needs to be lowered to make the shot smoother.

I would not recommend this game in a small collection. In a collection of 7 or more, then it would fit. The brutality of the game makes it seem unfair at times, but when you have a long ball time, it really gets the heart pumping. Definitely keep the tilt very loose on this game.

Iron Man was designed with simplicity is mind...simple art work + simple rules + simple layout + great lighting & sound package = one kick ass game!!! Once you start playing Iron Man, it's very hard to walk away from Iron Man. The simplicity of the game draws you in and the challenge of the game doesn't let you leave.

Do I recommend this game is a very small collection? Probably not. In a collection of 5 or more games? Absolutely.

My friends who are good at pinball love the game and my friends who barely play pinball love the game. This is definitely one that I can never see leaving my collection.

I've played the original Spider-Man many times. Always like it, never loved it. I always felt the Spider-Man movie trilogy theme held it back. Spider-Man, in my eyes, was born as a comic and will always remain a comic. For full disclosure, when I was 5 (1983), one of my bedroom walls, was covered with Spider-Man wallpaper. Last night, when we opened the box, all of us were just blown away by the artwork. Just looking at the game, we can see it was transformed from a time piece to a timeless piece. Once it was setup and we were playing it, it brought the whole package to a new level. Words can't describe the DMD animations. They were that great. Lighting on the game is perfect. The game plays fast and smooth. IMO, it plays better than the original. For instance, the Doc Ock shot was reconfigured. No more rejections from that shot. The game was bulletproofed with Cliffy's already installed. The VUKs are metal instead of plastic. The whole package comes together on this. The art + DMD + sounds + gameplay = perfect 10. I am very happy that I decided to purchase this game. It will never leave my collection.

I highly recommend this game. Steve Ritchie has created another classic. The game is fast and fun. The art work is beautiful with the hand painted images all over the cabinet and backbox. Sounds are loud and crisp. This is a must own for any one who is a fan of the show.

As an update, I've owned the game for over a year now. When guests come over, it is the game they play the most.

Very few games get the adrenaline pumping the way this game does. This game is the best kept secret in all of pinball.

This game is the most polarizing game I've ever come across. The people who like it, can't get enough of it. The people who don't like it, don't want to be bothered it. IMO,this game needs Steve Ritchie. There's a few problems I have with this game. There's no flow to this game (note: Steve Ritchie is my favorite designer). The light show is rather amazing, but the lighting is terrible, there's no GI lighting. I need to see ball. Seeing the ball brings me to the 3rd flipper. You can't see ball coming to the 3rd flipper. Unless the magnet catches the ball for the shot, I won't use that flipper during gameplay. I'm also not a big fan of wide-body games. That isn't the game's fault, just my personal preference. Wizard of Oz is a great movie, but as a pinball theme it does absolutely nothing for me. I've read that people who usually don't play pinball are playing this game, that is a good thing for all of us. To sum up, I feel this game is a swing and a miss. However, it is clear that JJP have put a ton of effort into this game. IMO, effort like that will lead to better JJP games in the future.

A very underrated game. My favorite game was I was 17 (1995). I'm not a huge fan of the movie, but I think Sega just got it right in the way the theme is uses. The cabinet artwork looks great. Playfield artwork is great too. For a 1995 machine, the game is loaded with rules. The way the wire ramps are used, I don't think we will ever see again. From a cost standpoint, you get a lot of game for a low cost. Upgraded speakers makes the game come to life.

A shallow game, but a fun game to play. I do wish more time was put into the look of the game. Art on the playfield and cabinet could be better. The game play comes across over the top, but it works perfectly. I believe it is what makes the game so fun to play. A game I would love to own, but not at what it currently costs. In my mind, Star Trek Next Generation gives you twice the game for half the cost.

I break this machine down into 2 different categories when it comes to rating it. Playing it and looking at it. I find the look of the machine (cabinet & back glass) to be on the average side. I find the playfield (design & playing) to be outstanding. We will never see another machine designed with 2 cannons and subway system as intricate as this. I'm really not a fan of wide-body games, but this does not feel like I'm playing a wide-body game. One mod that I think everyone should do,is change the pop bumper caps to clear and put a color changing LED in there. IMO, it fits the playfield so much better than the standard red caps. LED lighting on this game really makes the playfield pop too.

Not my highest rated game, but it is my favorite game. The biggest thing holding this back is the custom speech. Peter Cullen custom speech would really make this game stand out. Game comes standard LED lighting, except for the flashers. I highly recommend changing out the standard flash lamps for the LED flash lamps. Especially under the pop bumpers. The standard lamp down there lasted all but a couple weeks before burning out. IMO, this is the last great machine designed by Gomez. Along with Star Trek LE, this machine will never leave my collection.

Steve Ritchie hits another one out of the park. Layout is super fun. Ramps are super smooth. The shots flow perfectly. Great sound. Fantastic lighting. Beautiful looking machine. Best use of a shaker I've ever seen. The warp shot is my most favorite shot in any game. IMO, this is the best Stern LE to date.
