I started out playing EM pinball in the early 70's in Bennington Vt as a kid. There were many add-a-balls and other great games. Always dreamed of owning one. After joining the Navy in 1980, I went to school in northern Chicago and bought a Gottlieb Pin Up and a Williams Aztec. Those were kept at my parents house and I took them to my new home after the Navy in 1986. I expanded the collection with a WIlliams Grand Prix and a Gottlieb Olympics (62).
In 1994 I moved and sold all but the Pin Up. In 2001 I got the bug again and bought a TZ. That's when I started innovating and selling mods for pinball machines. I have many original mods and ideas for pinball which stem from my years of pinball obsession since those days back in Bennington.
The mod business took up too much time and I wanted to grow creatively, so I scaled back the mod work and wrote and produced a How to Play Pinball documentary that I now sell along with some of my sought after mods like the Ring shooter for LOTR. Since 1994 I have bought a TAF, WH2O, Embryon, and LOTRSE. I have since sold the Embryon, only because I needed the room. It was a cool game for sure.
You can see my work on my website by googling "Tom Wible". Always nice to hear from fellow pinball enthusiasts.
