I own this game and find it to be totally within the fun factor. It plays quite well and with the current update (June 2019) it keeps getting better. Is it somewhat bland in the art, maybe but that does not stop the fun.
There are so many great shots to learn and stacking steins for tent modes reap awesome rewards. Try mastering the Oktoberfest sweep shot. The call outs in Non Family friendly mode are funny and hopefully will get better as the updates come.
Overall I am very happy with the quality, play and support provided by the folks at API. This will be a keeper for quite sometime.
