Tough game, great theme, but not family friendly IMO unless they are really pinheads. Lots of side to side action makes the ball difficult to control. Modes require precision because they are timed and reset unless all objectives fulfilled. Movable multiplayer(s) is the absolute bomb and adds another layer of strategy.

Perfect pin if your looking for a challenge or have a short attention span. Great rules, but hard to learn.

Great game especially if you're a fan of the show. Theming is perfect, the voice callouts are epic and include the entire crew. Like most widebodies, the game can feel floaty if your not connecting on shots. Get in some rhythm and this game is a blast. The modes are varied and collecting artifacts is always a challenge. A must own for any pinball fan, Treky or not. This is my second time owning STTNG.

Not an Iron Maiden fan, but I loved the layout with the four flippers and trusted the unique design created by a world class player. My biggest concern was the music, but Iron Maiden has really grown on me and it makes fantastic pinball music that gets the blood flowing. The theme is dark and I always thought Eddie was a cool band mascot.

The game does not have any real notable toys, but the gameplay is insane. Four flippers with a ton of shots and great code. The animations are by far the best Stern has ever done in my opinion. The modes and code, even early are excellent and the game seems to escalate / build up with top notch callouts. Songs can be changed between balls and activating new modes triggers the corresponding song for a 40 second intermission.

The shots feel rewarding to hit, especially consecutively looping balls up top. Cabinet art on all trim levels is some of the best ever.

An amazing game that can be a chore to shot after awhile. Truly epic IMO, but misses the mark for fun after a few weeks.

I'm glad I waited a few months of owning this title before rating it. I originally somewhat dismissed it, it didn't have enough shots or wasn't deep enough. I've had the opportunity to first, dial it in and get it playing like it should. It has smooth shots an the game plays incredibly fast. Not sure if it's a T2 thing or not, but my pop bumpers are ultra sensitive and fire rapidly when the ball is in play. A Pinsound board made a huge difference in sound quality too. I am using the original speakers and I swear it sounds like I have it hooked to a sub. I think this is one of the better <$2500 games out there. A total package in gameplay, theme and price.

What can I say, SM is a great game. Great shot geometry, rules and flow. I love the Doc Ock magnet and upper right flipper.

I’ve owned a HUO original and a SMVE and think both are top notch games. I prefer the dots, PF art and call outs of the Vault. I rated the original slightly lower due to movie clips vs. original animations. I grew up watching the cartoon and the VE really fits that theme perfectly. The SM movie was great.

Ball times can be longer, but not obnoxious. Good game to compliment a faster, more difficult game like IM or Tron.

Just an amazing pin all around. Super theme, great art, amazing layout. Shots can be combo'ed easy enough, but they still feel satisfying. The callouts are excellent and the theme is integrated perfectly. The castle has to be best bash toy ever. The trolls are also the best "pop" out of the play field toy IMO.

I guess I had only played MM on location and it never really resonated with me. I never found a well tuned deck and always could hardly hear the audio. I only picked this up because I found a 1 owner HUO at a reasonable price. This was never on my radar, but it's so great in a home environment and I'm so thankful I did. Haven't loved a pin this much since Tron.

This game is just flat out fun. It would probably be the last pin I would sell in my collection.

This is a Stern that is just flat out "fun" out of the box. Gorgeous cabinet, backglass and playfield. The lighting is 100% the best yet IMO for any Pro level game. The theme is spot on and the game plays tough, which I prefer. It's not impossible, just fast. Players will have to learn what to avoid. The audio is really top notch. Next to my GOT Premium it sounds considerably better in richness and depth of audio. The sounds and dots are excellent. It's early though. My expections were sky high and Ghostbusters exceeded it.

The rules are great, but the game needs more polish. I love the upper playfield and I find the gameplay to be challenging. The dots and variety of call-outs area let down. I don't feel immersed in the them at all (see Tron or AC/DC). I'm not sure how much legs this would have if you aren't a pinball enthusiast.

Not a bad game for the price, but could have been so much more. Excellent theme, but the biggest knock IMO is it should have been a standard body game. I actually like the upper playfield and don't mind the fact it someone obscures the shots on the main playfield. I just found the shots unsatisfying and ball times on the longer side.

This game just puts a huge smile on my face. I love the theme, the sounds, the lights. Pure awesomeness!

Amazing pin, great theme integration and art. A little slower compared to more modern Sterns, but plenty of flow and the shots feel good. The geometry of shots with all 5 flippers is spot on. The playfield is stacked with features/toys and the rules are some of Sterns best ever IMO.

Challenging and fun, but a shallow rule set. Great theme and sounds. Lighting is top notch. Love the outside orbits are fast and short. War Machine kickback is a total rush, especially after a trip behind the shed.

Relentless machine, ball is constantly moving. Can't really tuck the ball somewhere to slow it down a bit. True meaning of "just one more game" type of play. It's beauty is in the simplicity of the game. I do finding myself wanting more.

Not an AC/DC fan for the most part, but the game play really is amazing. Great layout with an abundance of toys and modes. AC/DC music does add to the experience and the sounds that accompanied successful shots is spot on. Not quite as immersive as a couple of my top games from a theme integration standpoint, but everything gels together...perfectly otherwise.

The lower playfield is pretty basic, but adds a cool element and fits the theme well. The lighting is amazing. I actually had a hard time not rating it higher. I never thought this could challenge Tron for #1 and I. Having a hard time not giving it top billing in my book.

Really enjoying this game in my smaller collection of 4 or 5 games. I tend to gravitate towards games with quicker ball times and this fits the bill well. I would say this is a difficult pin for the non player. It's a fast game and the flippers feel more downhill than most, if that makes sense. Just a quick game that requires fast reflexes. Although it's not a deep game IMO, the is a lot of variety to keep things interesting. Great callouts and a cool video mode. Turbo lock is fun and I enjoy the two simultaneous balls to start turbo multiball. The mini upper racetrack acts like a strong shaker motor in some modes and adds to the gameplay experience.

A fun game, but hard to give a true rating since it incorporates pinball and an arcade game. From a nostalgia factor it's a great addition to the game room, but game play is hard do to unrelenting ghosts and the pinball portion is pretty uninspired. With that said it looks cool and was a great concept, especially back in 1982. I wish this game had the arcade game truer to Pac-Man and the pinball side had a little more to offer. Slings that were active, instead of passive would have made a big improvement in my opinion.

Great theme with sounds and art wonderfully integrated. The playfield looks really cool, with lots of interesting ramps. Although there are plenty of ramps, I found shots to be repetitive and felt too many areas of the playfield were obscured by them. I felt the rules could have been a little better, seemed somewhat shallow compared to games of the same era. Still a fun game that's stunning to look at. Would be great in a larger collection IMO.

Great theme, great art and great layout. Although it those 3 things going for it I had a hard time overlooking the poor sound and build quality. Didn't find the dots that interesting and there seemed to be a lack of variety on call outs as well. For the right price, its a good addition, but didn't last long in my collection.

No clue how this game doesn't score higher. Great layout, great theme, great art. The pop-up Nightcrawlers and spinning disc are awesome. The moving Iceman ramp is really cool too, but does obstruct your view for brief moments. Just a ton of shots with a unique layout. By far the best looking pin I have ever owned or seen for that matter. Amazing lighting, original call out and animations. Yea, some of the voices could have been more true to character, but with so many of them there is a a lot of variety. The game can be frustrating on nights if you're a little off, combos can be especially tough to put together.

Good looking game and I love the gambling twist, but just not enough variety to make it last. I enjoyed the gameplay for a while and the wide open playfield, but in my smaller collection it got old pretty quick. Can't say I have ever been a fan of the Pinbot series in general, so not really sure what I was expecting.

Perfect theme for me and felt the game had a lot to offer, but just did not have the fun factor for some reason. I know most pins involve making the same shots, but this one just felt more repetitive than others. The shots seemed kind of vanilla and the only real toy is the Vengeance ship and its magnet. The game has amazing flow, plays very fast and the RGB lighting is gorgeous.

Updated my rating to reflect more recent game code.

Not sure what the deal is. Pretty machine, cool theme, boring gameplay. Found this game to be pretty slow and lacking any type of flow. Only played on location, but have done so at a few different places and always walk away disappointed. Just not my cup of tea.

Edit: Updated my rating a bit.

Bad Cats has a great, fun theme with some really cool artwork. The back glass is fantastic and some of the sounds are really cute, but I found what little flow it had repetitive. Ramps can be tough to hit and usually thud off the rubber post at the base of the Tiger Ramp and Fishbowl Ramp. This pin would have really benefited from stand-up targets at the bases of the ramps. The 2 banks of drop targets were a nice touch, but I just didn't feel like it was integrated into the game all that well, the right bank of targets just seemed to get hit by luck. I thought the Fishbone target plunger was a unique cool feature, but would have liked to seen more variety of rewards.

Scoring was somewhat unbalance; Jackpots could get beyond huge in comparison to regular game scoring. Parts are almost impossible to come by and cabinet fading is very common. It did look beautiful decked out in LEDs. This could be a great game in the right collection, especially in with other system 11's (Although I personally found most System 11's to be considerable better). In my case this was sandwiched between 4 modern DMD games all in the top 30, so the competition was tough and Bad Cats showed it's age.

I should mention that my Bad Cats played great, but it was a player, and I really prefer near mint pins. That might have been a small turn off from the beginning.

I really enjoyed Batman Forever. It's a standard widebody, but looked bigger next to my other cabinets, even other widebodies. The theme is awesome; great colors and comic playfield art. I loved all the neon green wireforms and green ramps. The ramps are steep, but makable with solid, accurate shots. I loved the big DMD, animations and callouts.

The negatives are the lack of variety on callouts and animations, not that it's terrible, just would have liked to seen more. Ramps are prone to breakage and cracks do to hard shots from the Batwing Cannon, and are all but irreplaceable. Be sure to inspect when buying near the metal ramp flaps. The game is very dark, adding a spotlight or two is recommended.

Overall, a great pin. I think the steep ramps turned off some guests and rookies, but it was a fun pin that I went to often and wouldn't hesitate to own again in the future.

I had played TZ on location and at a few shows and it never really did much for me. Had an opportunity to pick up a pretty nice one at a good price and I am so glad I did. This has quickly become my favorite pin.

There is just so much to do on this pin. I love how you can keep stacking modes and although there is stop and go elements, it flows very well when you are stroking your shots. I don't get bored during gameplay..ever (even longer games). Great rules and callouts.

Love the fact it is a four flipper game. The right upper flipper is awesome. I love to bury camera and hitchhiker shots...so rewarding. Multiple magnets that grab at the right time. Awesome software and such variation too. Absolutely a perfect pin to have in any home collection.

I really enjoy this pin. Not the deepest of rules, of course, but satisfying shots. Well built machine, perfect theme. The gameplay is fast, but seems to have good flow. The GY Kicker returns the ball to the flippers quick and if your hitting the loop, it just feels like $$. Beacons flashers are awesome, the light show is one of the best...and brightest. I am rating this game semi-early, so review may change. More than likely for the better.

A family friendly game that can be a total rush and lots of fun to play. It's a beautiful game that really utilizes stacking multiballs. The amp suit and magnet are a blast and can really whip the ball. The rules and lack of enough callouts limit my rating. The rules are tough and must be completed during one ball to get to wizard mode. One of the modes, Navi Multiball, is tough to start and complete as it is. The callouts are kind of random and don't follow the story line like Tron does. To me the LE is a great value considering the chrome trim and added features. Underrated game IMO.

BSD is just an awesome game IMO. Lots of challenging shots, great lighting, creepy dots and a variety of fantastic sounds and callouts. Multiballs are tough to achieve, but when you start stacking it's a total rush. It is a challenging pin that will provide a lot of lastability

I really want to like this game and I do, it's pretty nice to look at and has quite a few redeeming qualities. But honestly agree with the majority of the feedback that this game just has a cheap feel to it. The ramps aren't really ramps IMO, more like plastics with plastic guides on them. They have a very flimsy feel to them. The Black Widow ramp seems to move and flex everytime I hit it. Just disappointing in the build quality. Beyond the build quality, the game can seem on the slow side because scoring is tough to achieve.

With that said, I enjoy the game. I really like the unconventional layout. The Hulk toy is great (even with the occasional hangup) I love the call-outs, especially the Hulk. Some funny stuff and I like the fact that they aren't movie quotes or scenes, just all original dots and call outs. I just wish Stern had spent a few more bucks on quality plastics and ramps. The art is beautiful and the Theme is right on.

Good, fun game for the price. Not a whole lot of depth to the rules, but there are some good multiballs and it's an easy pin for non pinball people. The thing that really shines is the unique ball save, the outlanes have pop up posts that must be timed perfectly, really adds a cool element to the game. Only 1 ramp, but the drop targets are fun (like 9 or them) and the Mystery 8 ball is a cool toy. The art on the playfield looks good, no photoshopping. Pay attention to wear at the kickout hole and above the top left pop bumper, this area gets hammered by the ball flying out of kickout hole. This would probably be a great candidate for a first pin. My rating echos others and the cheap feel of the game. The weird shaped white backbox with no art makes me want to vomit. In the same price range you could probably pick up an Eight Ball Deluxe.

Not sure if this would get old in a small collection, but I played on location and it was a lot of fun. If I had a larger collection I would think about adding one. I liked the low scoring and the scoring system in general. Thought there were some nice shoots and a very original concept. Not a NBA or basketball fan whatsoever either. If the art was better it would have scored quite a bit higher in my book. Gameplay and fun were very high IMO.

A pretty cool game with plenty to do. Not totally crazy about the theme, but the colors of the cab and PF actually look better in person. Lots of shots, but a stop and go type of game for sure. The magnets are great and really lock the ball down and fling it. The shrunken head is cool. Some of the callouts could be a little improved.

Have to keep editing as I seem to enjoy this game more and more. The theme took awhile to grow on me, but there is a lot to do and callouts are random and fun. Not too many people big on freaks or side show acts, but the colors are quite vivid and it is an attractive pin in my book. My non pin friends enjoy this more than Tron, since it is slightly more forgiving and slower.

This game is a lot of fun, but obviously does not have all the bells and whistles like the newer DMD styled games. I love the backglass and some of the playfield art. The game play is good and although the rules are very basic it has some cool element nicely tied into the playfield art. The idea is to fire as many shots as possible, continuing to light the inserts in the gigantic revolver. Bonuses go up the more inserts that are lit. There is 1 pop up target that is Cactus Sam the bad guy. Very short window to hit the pop up and score 50,000 points. A fun game that really ahas a EM feel to it.

Great game. Lots of flow and plenty of shots. Not alot to the playfield, as its mostly ramps, alleys, orbits and such (reminds me of the interstate system). The spinning disk is cool and can really sling the ball. The game is incredibly immersive and has great sounds. The mods available are some of the best too. Not a favorite for a non pinhead IMO. Game can be brutally fast and tough. Holding the flipper too long or just sloppy flipper play will result in very fast ball times.

I love this game. The first pin that I really remembered the title and wanted to keep playing over and over. The sounds, gameplay, playfield art are perfect IMO. My only real negative on this machine is that I find it to be a little on the easy side, but incredibly fun. I don't know if it could be improved. This is on my must own one day list (or it will be anyway)

Great pin, lots to do and the pin has great animations and call outs. It can be brutal though, the ramps appear to be easy enough to hit, but are deceptively difficult and are quite steep. If you are slightly off your game JD will make you pay. If you are hitting shots though, the game has tons of flow and is very rewarding. The artwork has grown on me and I prefer the comic art vs. pictures of actual people like seen on many themed pins. Additionally, the extra ball feature and super game are also added bonuses that make this a great game, especially considering the affordable price it normally commands.

Negatives in my opinion are the game is dark and would benefit from spotlights strategically placed. The unavailability of cabinet art is also a drawback and should be considered if you are looking for a CQ version.
