Very fast and a lot of action. It's a great game to play. The usual complaints I hear such as the garage shooting the ball down the middle can easily be fixed with a little tweaking. Keeping some wax on it especially in the outer loop keeps balls moving efficiently. I find this game to be moderately easy but a lot of fun to play. Although, I am not a fan of Nascar. I am a huge fan of this game. It seems the more I play this game the more fun I have playing it. Go Fast! Turn Left!!

I definitely agree with the fun factor on this machine. Its very neat how the characters have ability differences. This allows a strategy to affect the way gameplay is approached. The music varies greatly between characters, each with their own theme song. I noticed that Hulk Hogan's is the same song from Data East's Royal Rumble. I have long ball times on this game, very different from any other games out there. The DMD has some great effects. I do not care for the symmetry from left to right though. It is unsettling that Stern has not completed the code to work 100% for the final mode yet. I have been told that they never may do this.

In my opinion this is one of Stearns best remakes/LE. This is an epic game. At first it is fun to play but takes perseverance to complete the basic goals. Once you become good it still takes extreme strategy and skillful playing to actually complete the game. Lots of modes and multi-balls to complete. Probably the best game to incorporate an up scaled color DMD. Shaker is a big plus, although it can be added to the earlier version. The highly polished brass trim is beautiful.

I really like how this game plays. The choices at the beginning with different houses having different abilities affect strategy and the way the game is played. The lighting effects are awesome. Especially when wildfire is active the effects blinding you while you play. The music is good too. Has a rather simple layout not a whole lot to shoot at. This gives the game great flow especially on the pro. I like how the game trains you to use the action button. Easiest house to score on is Martell because of the extra add-a-ball feature. With good timing this can be used to extend multi balls. The Greyjoy house for the more advanced player makes the game harder but makes it possible to earn all abilities. It is easy to get the Blackwater multi ball. Which strategy this Multi ball can be used to defeat houses if you have stacked them. Lots of neat features. Strategy is definitely the name of this game.

Simplistic and fun. Seems the longer you play a game the more it becomes enjoyable. Becomes fast-paced with the music as you're challenged to hit the correct shots and trick shots. Overall, I find the game very easy.

Very nice game for being an early Data East. I like the work in the craftsmanship of the game including the designs on the apron and the extra shiny side rails. Although I do find the game kind of cheesy, particularly the Translite. Very rewarding to destroy the ion cannon. It's just a lot of fun to play

I love what Stern did with the Spider-Man series pinball. I am a proud owner of a 2007. For some reason I just don't like how the Vault Edition was themed. It has the great layout the shots are awesome. I just don't get the adrenaline and excitement From the Vault Edition version just too cartoony and comic-like. I understand this is what creates the appeal for some. For me it takes away from the darkside of the movies and the intensity of the game through different callouts, music, and DMD graphics. While I consider it to be an excellent game this version and theme just doesn't work for me.

This game has unbelievable bang for the buck. A huge thanks to the haters for this helps to keep the price down! You're really missing out if you don't give this one a chance. A true technological marvel for 1999. I don't believe any other games surpassed this until Jersey Jack released Wizard of Oz. It seems that the center Shot is a little redundant although it does not diminish the fun factor. Lack of shots can be offset with a little imagination. Seems to me that the programming is flawless which can't be said about a lot of new released Sterns(before code updates). Some blame this game for Williams demise. I just don't understand how pinball 2000 faded away. I'm not a true fan of the Star Wars movies. I'm a huge fan of this game. Beautiful sound and lighting add greatly to the game experience. Explosions sound terrific through Bass subwoofer. Very unique how the extra side buttons utilize lasers to help complete the modes (16 different modes) With this comes a good amount of strategy. Buttons are also used to rotate and choose the missions from the projector. I would like to see a new legit licensed version of nucore or variant released. This could be one of the few improvements along with LEDs to make this game even better! You must focus and use the force to achieve Jedi Spirit young Padawan!

I favor pinball games and which I feel like I am fighting an enemy. This is the reason that I get much enjoyment out of playing this game. There is a good amount of strategy if you want to make it far. There are at least 4 if not 5 shots with the upper flipper! The music, sound effects, and DMD graphics are outstanding. One of the cheaper LE'S to obtain. The extras on this model make it well worth the little bit of extra money spent. It's very creative Nightcrawler pops up and moves back and forth. Hitting him 5 times earns an extra ball which is much needed. I particularly like the Wolverine Edition. It's beautiful with the blue powder coating. Thank you Stern for putting time into a mirrored backglass. Shaker motor rocks it. I can't believe how cool the Sentinel's mode sounds on an external bass subwoofer. I find this game very challenging as I have yet to make it to that last wizard mode. Overall a great game. The Playfield layout is a little hard to get used to as its cluttered on the left side.

What a great game. Just might be the best pro model Stern has ever released. I love the new Spike operating system. Anybody know how to turn this thing on? okay there it is right underneath the back box! The artwork is super sharp and colorful. The Sound and Music quality is outstanding. Gameplay is fun and there is plenty of shots. Although the game play itself is linear with the ghost rewards and the modes. The intensity keeps the fun and pace going. The center of the Playfield seems a little cluttered but worthwhile when Slimer arrives. I Love Drilling the ramp shots. I've heard this game is too hard but it, like other games gets much easier the more you play it. This game is hot and sets a standard that hopefully Stern will maintain. A fine addition to any pinball collection. I personally am just waiting for the dust to settle with the code and play field defects. Stern should stop releasing games before they're ready it's going to eventually really hurt business. But besides all that, I can't wait to get one!

I wasn't sure what to think of this game at first. I really enjoyed playing and it just kept pulling me back in for more punishment. What's fun about this game is the excitement level. Simplicity while extremely challenging at the same time. I don't think any of the games in my collection provide the amount of adrenalin that this game can consistantly create. I do consider this game to be a veritable pinball trainer. A great addition to any pinball collection.

Really neat layout. The game music gets more intense the longer you play. It's fun to trying to time the upper playfield shots. I think the game is too easy at factory settings. Didn't really make me feel like I wanted to come back and play more. I've also passed up opportunities to purchase this game. I understand some people really enjoy this game, its just not for me.

This game is always going to be a classic. Easy to understand the game rules and fun to play! A little simplistic but that was what makes it an easy chill game. Although, it does get exciting when you're under pressure to collect the jackpots. Sometimes I feel like I can ride the ramps forever back and forth. Once mastered the multiball shot becomes extremely easy. It has a little bit of everything going on extra balls skillshots. An easy game once mastered but still fun.

Overall a great game. Challenging even at an intermediate level. Not too overwhelming for beginners. You got to get good at your shots on this game to get through it. Completing the missions to earn enough jewels to put the smackdown on the genie. Shooting stars a cool way for ball saver. Although it's a cool part of the game the lamp just always seems in the way. Nice artwork, good sound and great gameplay!

This game is fun. I thought it looked plain and boring just because it lacks curb appeal. Western brown! This game is entertaining with gambling risk/reward type of way. It's challenging and fun to try to shoot for the hands that you need. Good use of that giant DMD with the video modes. It has a slightly addictive game play.

Thought there would be more substance to this game. Did not really excite me while playing. Although it has some neat features, not much for gameplay. Really cool theme but I felt that it just was not stimulating. It's as if people buy this game just to say they have it in their collection. I have just as much fun playing older Data East games. At a fraction of the cost!

I really enjoy the rush of playing this game. The best version of a Star Trek Game to date. Stern followed a similar layout to Spiderman though. Everything about this game is coordinated nicely. The missions are challenging. The sound effects and music are theatrical. Laser light a plus. Side rails are beautiful!

This is a game that is fun for the whole family. Simpsons has been entertaining for years. So many shots and toys make this an instant hit. I really enjoy watching the DMD effects as others play. When you become good at the shots the game is very rewarding. Great design for the upper playfield. Great design and challenge!!!

This game is sooooo ridiculous. Lots of fun going on here. Only thing negative is that the shots are very easy, but this is also satisfying. Not every game needs to be impossible to play through. Callouts are repetitive. The most outstanding feature is when multiball starts with turds flushing and Les Claypool bass jam!!! Makes me smile. HOWDY HO!

This is a very interesting game by design. Quite a few different modes. Has very good game flow as you can perpetuate the combos. When bored with the game is fun to jam out on super game. I like the lighting, the callouts, the music. Remember I am the law!

For its time this was a pretty cool pinball machine. Completing the letters multiple times gives you extra ball. Easy to get the ball lock and then to initiate multiball. A lot of points can be rewarded through making the center shot during multiball. I do find the sound effects to gradually get annoying. Although they are spacey and trippy. No cool music just sound effects. I would own this for the right price.

I really enjoyed playing this game a lot when it first was released. I like the sound effects and the change-up of the shots. I like to get in the rhythm by hitting the same ramp over again. Don't have a whole lot of time to shoot into the Drac hole....blah! So it does get a little monotonous with the game play the title was still a lot of fun.

This game is absolutely unforgettable. Another notch for my bedpost! I love the spider award wheel on the back box. While I find the game itself to be on the easy side. There is plenty of variety, modes, and fun to be had. A little bit of sexual innuendo goes a long way with this game. The grand finale ending in the stiff-o-meter of course. Once gameplay has mastered it isn't really a challenge afterwards. Extremely easy to get the multiball. And the game does give out a lot of extra balls. I would definitely recommend this game to anybody as it is a blast to play.

I will never forget the first time that I played this game. I just could not get enough! A local bowling alley hosted the game for a few months. It was the late 90's. Fast, Fun, and a moderate challenge for experienced players. Really challenging for beginners. One of the best themed games ever!

This is the only Pinball that has caused me to lose a ball numerous times from laughter. Lots of adult humor and innuendo. Being a fan of Family Guy is not a prerequisite to truly appreciate this machine, although I am. The game is fun to play and ball control gets a little crazy. If you do not appreciate the commentary and the ridiculousness of Family Guy it could diminish some of the fun factor. If you are offended this game is definitely not for you. There is not a whole lot of strategy to completing this game just making shots. Shooting the Lois loop to light the TV gets repetitive. A real challenge to play the Stewie pinball multiball on both playfields. I have more fun playing Family Guy than any other table in my collection. It is a real challenge to get to TV Wizard and even harder to get to sperm Attack. There are a lot of underlying objectives to complete.

Being a limited edition makes this game a little more collectible than Nascar though it plays just the same. This was an example of Stern's earlier attempt at a limited edition model pinball machine. Very fast and alot of action. I do not understand how anybody could really say anything negative. It's a great game to play. The usual complaints I hear such as the garage shooting the ball down the middle can easily be fixed with a little tweaking. Keeping some wax on it especially in the outer loop keeps balls moving efficiently. The only thing I find "annoying" about this game is the start button built into the lockdown bar. Sometimes I accidentally bump it during gameplay. My bad! I find this game to be moderately easy but a lot of fun to play. Although, I am not a fan of Nascar. I am a huge fan of this game. It seems the more I play this game the more fun I have playing it.

Lots of targets to hit and build bonus up. Sometimes I just concentrate on the three upper targets to hit the mystical million shot. One major drawback is the bonus limitation, at 165,000. It's pretty cool how the balls can warp from one side of the table to the other before the Multiball. Big points when locking balls in upper part of playfield. Very unique how the rollovers work with timing and secondary buttons to control outline drain gates. Tricky at first, but alot of fun with two buttons to time.

A real classic! Fun like all other Pat Lawlor games. A great machine to play when working 100%. I was addicted to this game when it first came out. I find it a little repetitive and easier than other pins of this era. Enough modes with variety to keep you busy. Always awesome to unleash the multiball. I would not want to own this one because I am played out on it. Still I would not walk past it without playing it once or twice.

One of the Best Games out there. Fine example of modern Stern twist on a classic title. Out of all the marvel pinball games this is the best. Includes all three Spider-man movies. I just could not wait to include this into my collection. I just really get charged on adrenaline while playing. An aggressive pinball to play. In general I like the fighting style pinballs most. This is another level of excitement! The music, sound, and lighting are choreographed beautifully. A shaker is a must!

Very fun to play. It never gets old trying to shut up Rudy by sticking a ball in his mouth. I love how he insults. Although there isn't a lot to shoot. There is a good variety and different modes to entertain. Trapdoor shot is rewarding. The second lefty plunger for the game of chance is a unique part of the game. Its cool how the clock advances. At midnight enables Rudy to fall asleep as the funhouse closes. Only negative is that it gets repetitive quickly.

This game is enjoyable to play. Somewhat on the simple side. Although it's not my favorite Pat Lawlor title it is still a classic. The effects with the wind and the lightning are pretty cool and really draw you into the game! As far as gameplay I find myself getting a little bit bored with this. The Multiball shot is pretty easy. Its cool how the extra ball target is timed and you got to repeatedly hit it to keep advancing it.

I really did not care for this game at first. I used to be a fan of Metallica, they were huge in the Late 80's and early 90's. After playing a dozen games I started to understand the strategy and which shots to prioritize. It is awesome once the multiball shots become mastered. Also an excellent return from the ramps for continuous shots! Plenty of songs to choose from, although it should not be long until Stern updates with more. Stern?? Trying to master the CIU takes some time. Plenty more there after the code upgrade. Reaching end of the line takes some extreme focus and extra balls! Mods are neat for this game. Colored LEDS really enhance. Adrenaline-fueled awesomeness!

I have left rating comments four the pro version. This game is just a more exceptional version of the pro. the cool effects with the grave stone and the hammer. Even the snake has improved. It's one of those games that just has "wow factor" and makes you want to have it in your collection.

I absolutely love this game. So much awesomeness packed into that little playfield. Excellent multiplayer game. This is my favorite 2nd favorite Lawlor title. The game carries a lot of variation as the golf courses change daily. I've noticed if you wait and watch the credits roll thru it'll tell you which course it is on for that day. This means that different pars for different holes and the drive shots are in different locations. There are so many modes in this game and it always seems to be some randomly different. In this game is by no means and easy win. Very challenging to get to the end, then playing the back nine. Overall, a phenomenal ruleset. Its funny getting insulted by the Gophers but beating them up is sweet revenge! Bud and Buzz! Ha

This is one of those games that you either like....or hate. I really enjoy this game. It is one of the cheapest in my collection, but worth every penny. I get way more enjoyment than what its worth to sell it! Sure it does not compare to the 90's Williams or the newer Stern games. Still, it is a real challenge to play up through the levels! The game gets progressively harder the more you complete. Always fun to work up to the Grand Master than the Champion Challenge. This game has a unique game flow and rewards that accumulate even on completed shots. The Car crunch is a mediocre but fun addition. The Chun Li spinning flipper makes it difficult to defeat her. Really easy to earn extra balls by hitting three upper targets than lower middle target in a timely manner to collect. Also gets more difficult. It really has a retro video game feel to it for those of us that spent the 1990's in arcades. If you liked Street fighter arcade game and enjoy pinball this pin is a great choice. Only drawback it feels a little clunky with gameplay. I have owned this game for a few years and still have no interest in selling it.

Probably the best theme out there. I have always enjoyed this game. After pumping quarters in it for two months in a local bowling alley back in the 1990's I finally beat the game. You get a better appreciation for the entirety of this game if you have completed all the features. Although I find it easy now, still an awesome adrenaline rush! I would like this game in my collection although I have played it to death over the last 20 years.

Fun game to play. A little repetitive and easy for expert gamers. Very exciting trying open the hatch to lock the balls for multiball. Pinbot Circuits Activated!!!!! Jackpot is cumulative which is cool if it has not been hit for a few games. Trying to complete all the planets takes some skill and luck. Really cool but repetitive outer space trippy music It is an easy ball drain down outlanes from bad bounces. Game is pretty dated but keeps me coming back.

POWERBALL!!! A great pinball to play! It takes a few games to learn the complexities of the game flow. As I played and got better, I had a better appreciation for the game. I find it very challenging. There are such a variation between all the modes and the music that goes with. Easy to understand why this game will always be in the top 5. The Powerball itself is such an exciting addition to the way this game plays. I like to lock the Powerball for use during multiball. Its cool to see all the mods that are available for this title. I would have to be hard pressed to let this one go!

Indiana Jones has it all. I wanted to complete all aspects of the game before rating it. There is a lot of variety for game play on this widebody. Overall, a fairly easy game once shots are mastered. The DMD scenes are fantastic! The main theme song gets old quick, but there is a variety of other music scores pertaining to each "mission". I really enjoy the video modes. "Choose wisely" is neat but too easy. The bar shootout is fun. The mine cart is challenging.

I played the prototype version of this game. I was fortunate to meet up with Jersey Jack with the game at a charity Hobbit party. The game is incredible. The first thing that you will notice is the good sound quality along with the awesome graphics on the flatscreen. He did a good job with Smaug talking toy. Lots of creatures activated by outlanes popping out of the playfield. Multiball is easy to get by activated four rollovers in center of playfield. Cannot wait to run into this one again.

Update: lately I have played quite a bit of this game at a home location. Gameplay is great with quite an epic challenge. How much is too many modes? Hobbit has a severely long end game. A good game can easily last 40 minutes to an hour.

This game is lots of fun! Definitely one of my all time favorites. I would drive out of my way just to be able to jam out on it. They whole theme and concept of the table design is phenomenal. This is a really cool pin that can be found at a decent price. Overall it looks really great especially when converted to colored LEDs. There isn't really a whole lot to do. Just got to do all the level shots and complete everything to get to the final battle fighting the TX,she keeps on fighting pulling out all the stops. payback time is cool the red feature is pretty neat and the RPG back glass is just completely kick butt. Probably my favorite secondary game. The further you get the RPG difficulty increases. Sometimes you gotta pull the gun handle during gameplay to complete the RPG while you're playing also to kill terminators after completing combos (a,b,c) on the DMD! There is even a pretty cool video mode. With LEDS, the light show is brilliant. Specifically when the tx shoots balls at flippers during multiball. Nice flow to this game. I really do enjoy combos with the ramps. Definitely an action-packed fun pinball game.

I really like this game. It has a lot going for it. First, not many newer dmd pinball's have an original theme. This game is very creative and lots of fun. it has numerous video modes that get increasingly harder. The Time Machine concept is an awesome gimmick. the shots are short and sweet. Although the crane is a distraction, multiball is an awesome reward. The hippie bus reward always has something nice for you. Overall it is a great fun game with a not to deep rule Set. I would be inclined to give it a higher rating if space had been used better. There's dead space in the upper right that seems big enough to me to have accommodated a couple of jet bumpers. That's the only thing this game is lacking.

My personal favorite pinball for the fun factor. Although I do enjoy attack from mars, I totally love Revenge From Mars! This game is challenging even after you have it mastered. It is funny to hear different sound clips/rhetoric almost every time that you play it. The adult humor/innuendo makes me laugh. The many different modes and multiballs makes this game insanely fun. The video screen makes this game extremely unique. VIVA Pinball 2000!

Jurassic Park is an action packed game. Fun to play, but not very challenging. Hit the outlane, light the scoop, start the mission. You only have to light the mission to earn completion. The most action packed part is when t-rex multiball leads to completion of chaos.....then 6 ball multiball! What makes this game really unique is the NUKE. BTW it sounds awesome with external bass.

This is a long lasting game. Very challenging as many shots need completed per each continent to collect all ripleys letters. There are some hidden multiballs and wizard modes. One thing that makes this game long lasting is that the flippers are closer together. The game seems scattered, multiball makes you look at two places at once to utilize all flippers to their fullest. The playfield is fast and responsive, there isn't much room for error on shots. Fun and entertaining, I enjoy this game for the challenge.

Tales from the Crypt is an absolute blast to play! I love the crypt keepers enthusiasm. The DMD graphics are both gory and hilarious. This game also has some excellent cartoon playfield art, I love the axle and slash zombie look alikes! and the Crypt Keeper in his many persona. The shaker motor really shakes it up. There are really only two main shots the gravestone for multi ball or the scoop for creature feature to beat the 12 game modes. The rest of the game is just a very creative and entertaining distraction. The captive "clone" ball is unique as it can add more balls to any multiball. Also, the door handle is unique as it is interactive and can lock or unlock any mode that is lit.

Combos game! Serious and demanding game play. Best part about this game is nailing ramp after ramp after ramp, especially during a prolonged multiball. Honestly, I have never used the flipper buttons. The gun triggers mold you into a stance that makes you feel connected and in control. Giving this game a unique playability. This game has the potential to really get you into a good flow. By flow, I mean that meditative zone that you get in during prolonged gameplay. Pinball ZEN!! The real pinheads know what I'm talking about! BTW...I like them wide!

More Than Meets The Eye! This game looks nice, has a good theme, and great playability. TWO GAMES IN ONE!!! Autobot or Decepticon game play choice at the beginning of ball one. Each mode consists of different plot, music, and dmd graphics. There are few pinball machines that compel you to play to the point of exhaustion. The GI lighting and flashers can be improved with LEDS. Just play this a hand full of times and the music will stick with you. With the update to the original rom this game approaches excellence. Slightly disappointed that no toys "transform" this would have been neat. I stongly suggest owners to update to most recent roms and Technical Update kit # 502-6798-C4. Ballstop tape on the allspark cube shot prevents annoying bounce out. This most recent update 1.8 makes the game flawless. The upgrade also makes the upper playfield more fun/furious on the LE. Its a good workout for those who are limp-wristed. Considering the updates Stern has freely provided which improve game quality.... and my initial rating.

Update:
I have owned this game for almost a year. I have played over 800 games on it and truly love it!!!!

Further update:
I put over 1,600 games myself still haven't beaten it on factory settings and still love it
