My introduction to Pinball

The very first pinball machine i ever played was TSPP (The Simpsons Pinball Party) at my local amusement park. I'd always walk past them before to play Mario Kart or something, until i finally tested it out. I didin't get hooked instantly but i started to play it everytime i visted - getting better and better. But it didin't become my favorite right away, no, i wouldn't get introduced to my favorite until i visited a convention later down the line on October 1st.

I don't remember what it was about but thats not important. What WAS important though was when i went up to the second floor of the building. I saw a long line in the corner and wondered "What are they standing in line for?". I walked up to the line and discovered what would soon become the best pin (in my opinion) ever - World Cup Soccer! I wanted to try something new, so i got in line and waited till it was finally my turn!

One game and i was INSTANTLY hooked - went back in line when my turn was over to wait till i got to play it again and thats what i spent most of my time at the convention doing lol.

Before my birthday, i wanted to have a pinball machine in my house to play during the celebration, so my mom rented one for me (Thx mom!)  and guess which one i picked....WCS! When it was time for the people we rented it from to take it back, my goal was set: to buy and own my very own pinball machine - and in 2021, i finally had the money i'd been saving up for and bought a WCS!

I still have it and its in great condition! (Check the "Gameroom" section on my profile for pics of it!)

Thx for reading and have a great day!
