Pinball...it was in my blood from a young age

I am a 39 year old bloke who as a young kid in 1989 got my first job working at what was then a laser tag/amusement centre. It was a dream job for a kid that age. There was unlimited laser gun action for me and all my mates, as well as unlimited arcade & pinball action. I couldn't believe I was getting paid for it! I used to go to work 2 hours early! Eight years I stayed there, even while continuing my study and getting other 'real' jobs.

While I had an unlimited variety of arcade fun, it was always the Pinball that hooked me. There was always a wall of 5-10 pins which I had the privilege of playing - brand new – for free! I remember clearly every time a new one arrived, The Bride of Pinbot, checkpoint, T2, Guns n Roses, Indiana Jones, Star Trek NG and most of all I remember the Addams Family! After midnight we would lock the doors, turn out the lights and play those pinballs until the early hours of the morning.

So December of 2011 I started, I got my first Pinball, now I am addicted....Febuary 2012 got my second, and now I am looking for number 8. I am also part way through my first custom clean up/restoration of my first pin - The Getaway. My wife may divorce me ! I guess you could say I'm addicted. Or you could say these pins remind me of a happy time past, and great memories of being that young kid.
