The biggest plus to this game is fun! Easy to understand but still can be a challenge and at times brutal in a good way. You have a variety of shots from easy to satisfying to tight left orbit from bottom flipper. Many critics of the game just say it’s only Seawitch well not really all of the geometry of that game is fixed and given modern reliability. If you are looking for a game with classic feel, everything that makes pinball fun, don’t need a 100 page rule book and keeps you coming back Beatles is a great choice. I know critics say expense of the game but to license songs and likeness of one of the biggest bands of all times costs a small fortune. It’s not Jurassic Park where you license the name and that’s about it. If you are just looking for fun with pinball without the fluff Beatles is it!

This game gets so much hate that it doesn’t deserve. So many claim they want something different in a game but when it is different so many rip on it for being different. Is the game perfect no but from 1 to 10 it’s way closer to 10 than 1. I think as time as gone on some are beginning to give the game a fair shake and realizing it’s much better than it’s reputation. When it comes to toys and ramps way more to offer that anything made in the last 5 years. So go out give this one a try with an open mind you just might be surprised.

So here it is the pinball community love affair with a new game. Played the game a number of times at two different locations and here are my thoughts. The good great artwork but that does nothing for gameplay. The playfield let's be honest there is nothing new, interesting or unique. There is nothing that couldn't be found in an early 80's machine. The playfield elements two Metallica like ramps whoopie. A center ramp that features slamming the ball into a target on the back wall......really? Upper flippers to spin the ball around orbits. No interactive toys and a captive ball right out of the 1970's. The only way pinball will get better is if people stop giving manufacturers such praise for making sub par nothing special games. Iron Maiden a game so run of the mill it is only as good as the most below average modern Stern titles.

From reading other reviews people down play the subject matter of this pin. Sorry subject matter makes this pin full of potential less than stellar. Just can’t get into this one at all. A few cool features and some good shots wasted on this one. Much better choices in a Lawlor pin than this one.

Did not like this game at all with its early code. Played with the latest code many times and what a difference. I have considered owning this game now. The best way to describe fast, fun but brutal. Not a fan of the dark play field but that is personal.

Not really a pin a loud shoot em up moving target game. Gives a break from a regular pin but the fun doesn’t last long.

This is one you own based on artwork which is excellent. Backglass still one of the best. That’s where the the best part of this machine ends. Because of the looks and space invader sound it’s fun to play a couple of times and that’s it. Slow plodding play. Could have been so much better considering other games of the time.

A fun game for its time. Not a game to last long term in ones collection. Better choices out there but a solid game for a casual player.

My first machine I purchased for my home and the one which led to my love of pinball. Still one of the best multilevel machines ever made. Way ahead of it’s time and deserves to be considered the best of its time.

First I think many of the early poor ratings of this game is due to bad early code, dislike for the band and the difficulty of the game it self. I believe many players want to put up big scores with little challenge. Shots are tight except for the center ramp. The game is a beast challenging you at each mode but it clearly defines what needs to be done. That is what makes for a long lasting challenging game that taunts you to keep coming back to complete that next mode or multiball. If you want something simple to put up big scores get something else. If you look at Pinball and want a challenge Kiss is a game for you.

So I played and rated this game early in it’s life and it was not that great. Well after months and many code updates I can now say this is a fun and deep game for home. Satisfying shots and theme integration are awesome. Yet keeping you coming back for more as it can be brutal as well. How can you ask for more from a Star Wars pin?
