NuBee to Pinhead

So, I owned a Bally's Supersonic back in the days before the WWW.  I nursed it to life by sending the board out to get the battery removed and retraced etc.  It was a great machine to have as a bachelor, albeit a little rough from some frat house days.

I kept it limping along and three moves later it finally gave up the ghost, mainly because of my skill set and resources.  Oh, and a family on the way.

I virtually gave that machine away.  But, the guy who I gave it to was a true Pinhead and come to find out, the machine got a second life after an extensive rebuild.  I got to see some pictures of it before he sold it off.

Anyway, fast forward many many years, said family and I took a trip and happened upon the Pinball Museum in Asheville, NC.  Several hours later and carpal tunnel from all the game play, I started to think.

Craig's list it is, and Big Game came home with me.  The guy I bought it from mentioned Pinside and here I am.  I've already searched and found my machine, and how he fixed the left flipper (still flipping).  I've also jumped the traces for the the right side flipper (now flipping again) even though I don't think it was the traces (I think that was a suggestion from barakandi).  Pinside has been an enormous resource for me over the last couple of months of owning my new Pin.

Hopefully I'll keep nursing Big Game along but with renewed information and directions from the folks here, it will be a long and happy relationship.

Plus, the family likes having the pin around.
