Long lost friend found

As young kid, I spent most of my summers in local amusement park playing pinballs. This was late '80 and early '90. Of course many video games also attracted young mind but it was pinball that really "kicked in". I remember that day that I saw Banzai Run for first time. I coldn't belive what I just saw. After some waiting in queue, it was my turn to try and oh boy that feeling when I hit "Banzai hill"-saucer for the first time and "He's going for the hill" -sample was played. Another big hit was DE Star Wars, that center ramp was so cool and getting that multiball from Death Star was always so enjoyable. Of course there was plenty of other games also which got more or less attention but these two games are something that brings memories to my mind.

At mid-90's it was time to serve my year at the military (it's mandatory here) and at that time something happened and after that pinballs wasn't so addictive and whole hobby was forgotten. There was some beer/woman/studying -stuff that got my attention at that time. And soon it was over, pinballs were gone from usual places or if there were any, those were usually on poor condition. And so did whole playing forgot. Until 2009 when I found one game in location nearby (Cactus Canyon in quite poor shape). Then it kicked in, I must have one of these to home. Few months later I was proud owner of Popeye, not maybe the coolest game on earth but in excellent condition so gaming could start without any big hassles and repairs. But as most of you know, these mystical plywood-boxes don't come alone and quite quickly garage started to fill up.

When I got more machines, I got fine idea about starting little operator-business. Since that I have had 2-4 games located. It's nice to notice that there still are people that are willing to play these ancient mahcines and even pay for it (little). Hopefully I have change to get few more games out there in future.

Popeye has it's die hard fans, Gilligan's Island does too; as long as you like it, then it's cool! Welcome aboard.
