I have owned this game for about 8 months and still really enjoy playing it. I am a fan of the music and feel the modes fit the songs in the game. The ramps shots are tougher than they look and a crucial part of progressing to the wizard mode later in the game. Hitting the loops never gets old. After 7 in a row the ball is traveling so fast it is really hard to see but it feels so good blasting that shot multiple times in a row. There is not much in the way of toys which would normally bother me but I feel the awesome code and the challenging shots make up for it. The shots are not as make / break as TWD, but this pin can feel brutal at times. I have mine set to standard settings with 3 balls and have only got the mummy card 3 times. The other 3 cards are attainable but the mummy card consistently keeps me from starting Number if the Beast wizard mode. Really wish mummy multiball was a 3 ball multiball from the start. You can add a ball but if you fail, it becomes increasingly harder to start mummy ball again. I have found myself struggling to start NOTB for several months and not really making any progress on the mummy card which can be frustrating. That’s on me though. Just think a little tweaking to that multiball would be nice. I like to play in factory settings. Playfield art is okay (devil looks really cool) and the cabinet looks amazing in person. I added homemade stadium light to my pin and it helps a lot. The middle of the playfield is really dark which makes playing in a darkened room pretty tough. Mechanically, I have only had one minor issue to date and that is the upper right flipper coil stop can sometimes rest against the inside of the cabinet. There is a tiny space between the coil stop and the cabinet wall and a nudge can often make the two contact. When you release the upper flipper, there is a weird, audible thud. It doesn’t affect gameplay but is noticeable and sounds off. Other than that, everything has worked as intended. I really enjoy this pin and it does have that “one more game” feel. The rules are deep but manageable after putting in a little time. In my 4 pin collection, this one fits in perfectly and is the most challenging. I don’t see myself getting tired of it anytime soon. I have played the premium and the diverted for the left ramp and the center ramp lifting don’t really have that wow factor to me and I am happy with my decision to go with the pro model.
