THIS PIN IS HILARIOUS! Playing it in a noisy environment is criminal. You need a quiet room where you can hear it. The callouts are well thought out and so funny.

Based on the Pinside ratings and negative comments I never would have gone out on a limb and bought this pin. I was fortunate to be at the Golden State pinball festival early morning and got to play it before the room got noisy. Both my wife and I enjoyed it, so when one popped up for sale I went for it. It's now easily on my top-5 of all time list.

It's a rare machine, so if you get a chance to play it, do!!!

Modes are well thought out and easy to understand.

The design has stood the test of time! Such a fun pin! 12 different modes, 3 different multiballs, plenty of easter eggs, great video modes, 2 playfields, and one of the best ball locks ever!

I can see myself owning this game eventually. Lots of fun. Great rule set. The Iron Monger coming out of the playfield is really cool and mimicks the Monger scene in the movie

If you're a fan on the original movie, the game is fun. Won't go down as one of my favorites, but it had some challenging shots and easy to understand rule set. Great music and sounds.

I'm amazed this game is rated as low as it is. It's no secret Stern released it before the code was fully developed. I've got to assume many of the ratings are based on the early versions of the software.

I've spent lots of hours on a Premium and now own a LE. This is a fantastic game!

My only real gripe is that sometimes a movie clip plays too long after a ball has drained, leaving you waiting to get the next ball into play, but that's it.

The lighting in this game is amazing!!! That said, the pro version did not get the RGB lighting. I've read way too many forum posts claiming the pro is great, anything else is a waste of money. I strongly disagree. The light show you get is second to none. Stand back and watch the attract mode sometime. You won't be disappointed.

Not only do you end up with a far superior lighting package, but the Prem and LE also have 3 magnets vs 1 in the pro. The programmers took full advantage of the extra 2 magnets and toss the ball around is really unpredictable ways. Makes Orb multiball a real treat!

The pro also did not get the motorized orb that opens up or the Groot arms. Those are less exciting, but they do add another dimension to the aesthetics of the playfield.

All versions got the Groot head in the playfield, and they did a great job with it. After swallowing and locking your balls in, Groot talks before firing all the balls from his mouth at once for Groot multiball.

The rules are easy to figure out just by following the color coordinated lit shots... Again made better by the RGB lighting. Each mode is based on a character, and gets its own call outs and movie clips. Required shots for each mode are different, but easy to figure out with clearly lit shots.

Stern captured the fun lightweight feel of the super hero movie and took full advantage of the killer music in the film. Overall they did a really great job with the movie! Way to go Stern!

If you don't enjoy their music, stay away from this machine. I'm a big fan of the band and this pinball machine. I highly recommend doing the speaker upgrade to this machine. I enjoy mine so much more after the good speakers went in. The cannon is a great, unique, gimmick. This machine has some great multi ball modes.

I'm not a huge fan of the show, so that doesn't draw me to this game. It's the game play that keeps me playing. This machine has a great play field!! There's enough going on on the play field to be fun without the mini pinball game... But that mini pinball puts it over the top.

You can adjust the audio settings between Family & Adult to suit your taste. I wasn't enjoying it on Adult, but like it in Family mode.

The beer can is also fantastic... Gives a rewarding metal 'clank' with each hit... Like shooting steel targets at the shooting range.

What a classic. I can't get tired of this one. Great 1990's sounds. Easy to understand rule set. Very challenging game play. Best of all, the theme was just created, instead of attempting to make a game match a recent movie or a rock band.
