Fully restored games play much better than lots of these ratings would indicate period pop bumpers need to be fully tuned app with new parts the same with flippers and a clear coded playfield doesn't hurt either. Once that is achieved, this game can be really fast and fun! The memory feature of each player's plateau is great, as well as progressively making earning plateau's easier every ball . Incredible artwork package probably Art Steinholm's best work compliment, one of krinsky's early layouts that is underrated in my opinion.

Bashing the spinner is satisfying, but can be a drainer. Special is an after thought. Still, a fun game for casual play, but like most 2 player EMs, every ball is a separate game, without the progression of rules that single player EMs usually have.

Not quite as good as Capt. Card, but still a fun target shooter's game.

With resetting drop target mod, this game surpasses it's AAB brother! Drop target shooter's game with dangerous specials. One of the last baby flipper games. Will be staying in my collection.

Hot title of late. Somewhat simplistic ruleset. Ok theme. Restored a beautiful example, but won't be taking up space in my small game room. Lacking in lastabilty.

Hard to add to the scores of great comments about an all time classic. Theme aside, the shots/ layout and player feedback have to be some of best all time for a single ball/single level game!

Much easier to find than it's little 2 player sister. Same great playfield artwork and layout. Lots of satisfying shots, including 9 drop targets. Some would argue a bit too easy. Still a classic Krynski/ Morison game frome the end of Gottlieb's great EM run of the 70s.

As with many multi-player EMs, single ball games are hit or miss. A great (lucky) ball followed by 2 drains makes for frustrating play. Gap between flippers is huge. Outlanes are greedy. Great art package, just wish there were more skill involved, not just luck. As a decent player, I find games like Lucky Hand much more satisfying. Atlantis can be brutal, but good shots are more often rewarded with a break through game. Games that never reward skill won't last long in my collection.

This game has decent flow with the lwft loop shot getting back up to the important numbered roll overs. Collect the 4 green drops, extra ball shot, then double your bonus with all white drops down. Scores climb quickly if you can achieve this. Also, the novelty of scoring a special on hitting the last lit number on the outlanes is a fun surprise. Sought after for good reason. Gottlieb got it right on this one.

Classic reverse wedgy. Early single drops add up to lots of fun.

One the best aab! Simple, yet satisfying and addictive.

Precursor to the ever popular 'Atlantis' great layout will challenge your pinball skills. Good shots are rewarded, poor will be death. Theme is not everyone's taste, but campy. Ball return gate is a gimmick and bonus count is slow (remedied by the time Quick Draw was released). Gottlieb was coming into a great era of 3" flipper games until the end of the EMs and Lawman shows off the potential of great things to come. Worth a play anytime.

Well respected, classic EM. Lots of drops, sneaky layout that will punish bad shots. If you can take advantage of the lit 'WOW' targets, you can rack up lots of fun.

JP EM is a rare game for sure. The solid state version is good, but loses some nostalgia points with the speeeded up chimes, displays, and no joker face in the middle! Very complicated and heavy game. Gottlieb pushed EM technology to the max with one of their last great efforts here. Avoid the middle targets, instead keep sending the ball back up top to lite the extra ball/double bonus. Buy it, if you can find it!

blast from the early solid state years. Good gimmick with the blackout effect. Well tuned game can be very fast. Often overlooked as the cousin of the more successful Firepower. No multi-ball, but does have basic speech and lane change.

It may take a few games to get comfortable on this one, but once you figure out the rules and hazardous shots, it can be downright fun. Fully shopped/restored is mandatory, but is a keeper in the high end EM collector's gameroom.

I prefer 3" flipper EMs from the 70s, but I gotta say, this one delivers. If set up properly, can be a fast and fun game for this era-one of the best.

This game is a bit over-hyped IMO. Fun,, but a bit too easy. Racking up 5000 for each lit roll over in the bagatelle lane, can add up quickly and light the special easily. There are far more challenging games. Artwork is great, and what draws most in-just what Gottlieb intended to grab your quarter!

This game should be in anyone's EM top 20, or even top ten. If set up properly, can be very challenging. No easy ball cradles here. Delicate flipper work will get you thru the card sequence. A liberal tilt bob helps with nudging for the top roll overs and saves from the open elbow side outlanes. Classic Gottlieb all the way!

This AAB game gives it's replay cousin a run for it's money. The WOW award for the upper roll overs really adds to it's appeal making you change strategy based on where your score, number of balls left, and number of roll overs completed. High up on the AAB food chain for sure!

Another late Gottlieb wedgehead. John Osborne design should not be overlooked for fun. Chasing the lit 'note' to score a special is fun and a challenge. Hitting the spinner when set to 1000/spin is worth the risk. Also has a plunger skill shot. Ahead of it's time? May not have a wide acceptance, but look under the hood and see the height of EM technology in this game.

Agree with most of the reviews, game can be set too easy. Make sure to set it up on hardest settings-including high replay awards. Special will give plenty of replays if lit early in the game. Some of Gordon's best work IMO.

Love it or hate it, PaC is a tough game. Side drains and self play can be frustrating at times. When the Wow targets are lit and a bit of luck you can get Pop!Pop! Pop!

One of the last single player drop target games from Gottlieb (king of drop target games in the 70's)Not just another baseball-themed pinball. Does have the overly loud gong 5 inch bell to announce runs scored. Also lacking slingshot kickers, but mine plays very fast anyway. Drops reset between balls, or if the special is collected. That gives it some lastability. Wasn't sure I would like this game, but was surprised and pleased with it's gameplay.

I had the pleasure of restoring a very fine example of this game. As others have mentioned, great art package and build quality was unrivaled in it's day. I have also owned the replay version (King Pin), and honestly prefer the deeper ruleset of that game. While Pin-Up is fun, I find it one dimensional for longer term game play. Knock all targets down, chase the lit spot(s), rinse and repeat.......not every AAB game feels this way, but sadly, that is my experience. For AAB junkies, still a great addition to a line up, but not all on it's own.

Decent player, really hard to get all 13 cards lit and collect the specials. Have only acheived this twice in hundreds of games. Does keep you hitting the start button.

Classic Gottlieb! Drop targets reset for sharp shooting the 5k horseshoes, safer is to bang away up top and get the kickout holes (after completing A-B-C) A keeper for sure.

Desert Island pin? Perhaps, def. top ten. Nice asymetric layout is unique for EM. Theme/artwork is great!

Good game often overlooked. Bell announces runs scored as well as chimes and knocker on AABs.

Considering it doesn't have Gottlieb's staple drop targets, this game rocks! Lots of unique shots that keep you coming back. Two ways to score special /extra balls. Lots going on, , great theme, the height of EM technolgy. Gottlieb got it right with this one.

Better than one might think, though still a simple ruleset. Lack of drops turns off many but still a fun game.

Ok game, not as good a ruleset as it's single player cousin that started it all El Dorado. Can be a bit of a drain monster. Suffers from shallow goals vs. the single player ruleset.

Once the drops are down all you have to shoot for are the AAB shots and the ball bounces around without much going on. Cool game, but gets old in a hurry.

Jumping Jack is a great game. It keeps you coming back for more after leaving that last drop target teasing you. Drop another quarter......Seems like an easy goal, but one must learn how to nudge when the ball is in the bumper area and keep a cool head as it heads toward the center drain. Backglass-what can you say? Sex sells and Gottlieb worked it to the hilt with this one.

I know this game gets consistantly high ratings, but I found it to be very frustrating, hard to beat (perhaps that's why it's liked?) I have since learned bouncing the ball off the slings to get back up top sometimes is safer. There is a lot of skill to this table, the outlanes can be frustrating at times.
