How I started

My father was a member of the American Legion Post 455 in Hamtramck, MI.  I was was first introduced to the Bally ABC Bowling Machine when I was 4 years old.  I remember having to stand on the alley to bowl.  The man who owned the machine, Joe from Joe's Coin ended up giving the machine to my father in about 1971/1972.  It resided in our garage for 10 or so years.  It was always ready to play at any time.  It was then moved into the basement where it remained until 2009.  In all those years I was the main repair person for this machine.  It was pretty easy as the books and manuals were with the game. In 2009 we moved and I took the machine to my new home.  My wife and I moved it ourselves.  Till this day this machine is in perfect working order.
