As a fan of the Dr Who in the 70's growing up, I really appreciate this pin. I never get tired of fighting Daleks!

What's not to love? A great system11 with endearing theme & callouts. One of the best single ball solid state era pins ever.

One of the coolest playfield toys of all time. How does anyone not love it? Having said that, the gameplay isn't the greatest in my opinion. But it's still very enjoyable. I could see owning one just for the toy & that magnificent backglass!

I loved this game in the 80's when it costed me pocket change & I love it even more now that I own one! Folks who say this game is slow or that it's all about the ramps obviously haven't put their time in on a well maintained example of this machine. It's FAST. Brutally FAST. Gives F-14 a run for the money in tems of ball speed, imho. You can drain while blinking & miss it. The rules, while not deep, are very challenging & achieving a high score is something to be proud of. But don't pat yourself on the back too much. Nine times out of ten you'll drain before scoring that elusive jackpot & you'll have to start over with the next ball. And do you think hiiting 5 ramps in a row to light "the million" sounds easy? Well good luck to ya. Prepare to get mad playing Taxi. Really mad. But it's difficulty is what makes it great for a "simple" pin. You'll always come back for more.
The design is elegantly simple but perfect for this pin & flows nicely. The artwork is fantastic & some of the best music and callouts you would ever hope to find in a system 11. Maybe in all of pinball! Taxi is a classic in every sense of the world. Williams really hit paydirt with this one.

Is there a better theme for pinball anywhere? Nope.
Fun, fun game. Plenty to do & have a ball doing it. Such a great game!
