This, to me, is the first game in a long time, where I feel part of the story. Everything is well thought out. The raptor pit and t-rex are great toys. It’s an amazing pin!

After owning for awhile, I feel I can say that the game is amazing at how the rules and MBs are thought out. The variation between objectives is quite creative and makes this game one of the best in a long long time. What keeps it fresh for me is that each time you go up the map, it's random where the staff are and where the dinosaur starts. This keeps the game fun for me instead of going through the same modes again and again with no randomness. Also, I forgot to mention the shots that are kinetically satisfying. The control room shot when the up post catches the ball, the raptor pit, again when you hit it and the up post captures the ball, hitting the T-rex mouth and he grabs it, and the most satisfying shot of the whole game --> The missile target behind the pops. Hitting that for a reward when lit, is very satisfying. I still love this game.

I was hesitant to own ST because of reviews where people say the software is a little bland. I actually think at this point, the game is great. I don't know all of the rules perfectly yet, but I do think there are differences in the level one modes. The level 2 and 3 modes that I have tried are really interesting. Perhaps it's still the newness factor making me feel this way so I will update my review if my feelings change. The playfield design is great, all flow ala Steve Ritchie. The shots are smooth and the wrap ramp is perfectly designed in my opinion. Very satisfying to hit. The cabinet on the LE is beautiful and the LED inserts are awesome. The sound also blows me away. It's a great game as it is, but if they update the code, it will be a real hard one to beat. I do love ST and science fiction so that certainly helps. I think everyone should give it a shot on location.
