I have always been fascinated by pinball, yet found I was not very good and when my quarters were hard earned, I could get more play time on a video game so spent more time there. Fast forward to middle age and while I am still not the greatest player, I built a virtual pin to combine my computer based passion and fascination with pinball. My buddy bought his first pinball machine about the same time I was building my vpin. Now that he is moving out of state, he gifted me his machine (Bally Vector) and I am loving being able to practice my skills without an impact to my wallet.... ok, so yes, it will still cost me, but I wont see my quarters disappear like drops of water on hot concrete.
I would like to say this will be my end to owning additional pins, yet I have read enough stories of others and will not proclaim I am done. :)
What really impresses me about this hobby is all the great people here and on other forums who are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and creative. I am proud to be a part of the community and look forward to many years to come.
