People actually own real pinball machines?

I've been hooked on pinball since I was a kid. I gew up in a family bar room that always had a rotation of one or 2 pins in great shape. I remember telling the operator all the issues at a young age and he would come right down and tune it up nice. I wish I still had that connection...

I remember playing a lot of the classics there, many of I own, have owned or wish to own. Comet, Funhouse, Star Trek Next Gen, Tales of the Arabian Night and Theatre of Magic are a few notables off the top of my head.

Fast forward a few years and I started looking on craigslist for machines. I found a Target Alpha locally. I was able to trade a pocket PC and a couple hundred bucks for it. While it was awesome owning an actual pinball machine, the EMs really weren't my thing. Next I found a Big Hurt which I think is a very underrated game. The collection stayed at one or 2 for awhile. I decided to unload my pool table to free up some room and the collection started quickly growing. Right now I have 7 pins, 3 arcade ames and a touchscreen jukebox. I really enjoy taking peoples unfinished projects, throw aways, or routed disasters and bringing them back from the dead.
