$25 craigslist Got me started :0)

  Hey everyone. I happen to hit craigslist my very first day looking and found an awesome 1990 Raiden. The lady said if it wasn't gone in 24 hours that it would be sent to the dumps. I got it for $25. That is what got me started. I brought it home and cleaned it up and till this day it is still working and playing in my breakfast area of my house. I love this game and arguably the best $25 I have ever spent. 

  From that it really started. I got Mortal Kombat 3, and then Hydro Thunder. Then I got another Hydro Thunders and linked them together. Then I got a Ms. Pacman that I have painted myself 9 hours worth of painting and is gorgeous now. Loved every second on this restoration. Then I got Arctic Thunder and then Area 51. I built a 60 in 1, and a 512 in 1. I got a Gauntlet Legends that was flawless for $300.  I got Cruis'n World and NFS Underground. This Rio wad a great project. I got NFSU in need of some work for just about nothing. All I had to do was wire grounds wires for the six speed shifter and someone has taken it the 1gig ram and put in only 512mb. I put in another 512mb and she was up to speed and its a freaking juke box and I find myself smiling all the time racing this game. The cabinet and everything works great now. The last racer at this time was Fast N Furious. The black cabinet with perfect art work of Paul Walker on the side. Though it is a beautiful cabinet it's no where as good a racer as my Hydro Thunders and NfS Underground. But it looks nice with the Orange beyond beside my blue neon underground. I have a two lane basketball shooter, a foosball table and a pretty awesome air hockey table with blue neons  and the legs light up. 

I mod game systems, ps3's, Wii 's etc., and have been playing Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 and 2 on a Wii. It runs it well though not at high resolution. But in due time Mario Kart AGP will be in my collection. I would like to have Popeye as well. And in the years to come H2Overdrive and maybe Dirty Drivin'  But all this started with Raiden on craigslist for $25. And we still play it even today. All my arcade games mean something to me and have a story for each and every pick up as well..  I love collecting and don't ever see me getting rid of my present collection. Thanks
