This game is the most addicting game I've ever played. Some other reviews mentioned clunky shots. I'm not quite sure what that means, but they are different and the flow of the game is amazing if your hitting the shots consistently. To me it doesn't feel cluncky at all, but I could understand less experienced players that are used to the typical Stern layout having trouble establishing good flow. For me I really appreciate the originality of the layout. The theme integration is the best I've ever seen. This game makes newer Sterns seem dated. Spooky surprisingly raised the bar with this game in many ways. I'm still kind of in shock. I didn't expect the game to be as impressive as it is. I'm excited to see what Spooky comes out with next!!!

Smoothest shots on any game I've ever played. The game isn't about cell phones it's actually a disaster theme. It's Lawler going back to his roots. It's the third installment in his disaster series which features references to Earthshaker and Whirlwind. Whirlwind is one of my favorite pins, therefore theme is A+ for me. The phone is only used as a tool to receive calls informing the player when a disaster is occurring. I own TAF, TZ, WW and I have to say that this game is head and shoulders above all of them. Not as good a theme as TAF or TZ, but smoother, deeper, and more fun. Overall, most impressive and fun pin to date.

This game is so bad ass! It's not very deep but that's an advantage IMO. The shots on the game and stacking multi-balls is so awesome! There are a lot of people who seem to think that a game's lastability and rating should be based on the depth of the rules. I don't always agree with that philosophy. I have a few very deep games that I love and I think that BSD is the perfect complement to those games. It's simple economics, why would I want two cheeseburgers if I could get a cheeseburger with fries for the same price? Variety is the key here. This game is a great addition to any game room regardless of size. Couple it with a deep game and you have a great two game collection.

I have owned this game for several month. I currently have ten machines. Half of them being 80/90s Bally/Williams and the other half modern sterns. Sometimes I enjoy a brutal game that has simple rules, flow, and satisfying shots. Other times I enjoy playing a game that takes a little bit more time to understand and has more depth. This game is of the second variety. At first I didn't really gravitate towards the game because I didn't quite understand the rules, but after spending some time figuring out the rules I realized how great this game is. I think it's ridiculous and uninformed when someone creates a review after playing any pin for '30' minutes at a local bar. In my opinion these reviews should be instantly disqualified, because no one can understand the rules of a pin after 30 minutes of play. I have almost half of the top ten pins and IMO this game is definitely a top 10 pin.

I think this game is very underrated. The shots and flow and are great. It kind of feels like a Steve Richie game with regards to the flow. Great for a quick game. I own an acdc pro and would consider it close to as good. Acdc n my opinion has more character but the shots on kiss are just as or possibly more satisfying. There has been a lot of negative comments about the code but I disagree. I tend to prefer games that aren't very difficult to figure out, Kiss qualifies. Also, they are still working on a final code update. The couple negative thing I have to say is it wouldn't hurt to have a couple more toys and dots are a little bland. If you're interested in a game with great shots, flow, and theme this is a great choice.

I am rating based on the LE package. This game is awesome! The fastest pin I have ever played. I put a lexan play field protector on it and it just made it look nicer and made the game even faster. A must have mod in my opinion. The art and lighting is amazing. The game looks and feels futuristic. Game play and sound are fantastic! I highly recommend.

This game has a great variety of shots and modes. The rules are easy to understand and the shots are quite satisfying. It's a classic. This is one of the must have pin for every collector at some point in time.

The call outs on this game are great. Game play is also very fun. I find that games last quite a long time due to the amount of extra balls that are awarded, but games are never stale due to the large difference between the several modes that the game has. I have around ten pins and this fits into my collection great. It's so different from a regular pin. Not sure I would want it in a one or two pin collection.

Update: Sold this. Picked up an AFMLE. AFM is so much better than this game. RFM was fun for a couple days but the linear nature and repetitive scenes made it a very short lived. AFM on the other hand is amazing! It isnt at all linear natured and is so awesome! It isn't a coincidence that it's second rated game of all time.

Maybe the top theme of all times for me. Game is fast and addictive. The rules are straight forward. The shots feel great. Arnold callouts are awesome! Must have for any terminator and Richie fan.

Great game. I love the topper and modes. The game is fast and flow is great. I love the theme.

Update: I've had this game for a year. After the first couple of months I wanted to sell it. I'm so glad that I didn't. After playing it more and developing strategy I believe that this game is nearly perfect. I just love the strategy of going for mega door bonus and playing the ball locks as a secondary mission. The upper flipper shot might be the BEST use and the most satisfying shot in all of pinball, especially coupled with the awesome sound; "FEEL The POWER!". The only thing that would make this game better is if there was some other purpose after getting mega door bonus prior to draining the ball, e.g. if you get mega door and complete all the door bonuses again on the same ball you get 10 million (sounds close to the bonus rules for TAF LOL). Other than that this game might be my favorite in my collection and I've got a lot of A list games (EDIT - Not better than TWD or LOTR). Would be one of the last to go in my collection. I like it better than Addams Family. If you can get a nice one under 3k I highly recommend it.

When dialed in this game is very fun. Rules are shallow but it's definitely fast and what pinball should be. For the price this game is worth every penny.

Good game for the price. Owned it for several years and still enjoy playing it. I think the shot selection is very good and I really like the flow. I was a kid when SF2 the video game was big, therefore I love the theme. It really reminds me of the arcade game. Kill an opponent by hitting the lit up shot and do this until you have killed all opponents to make it to the wizard mode. Which is really hard; I think I've only beat it once or twice. The cool thing about this game is there are side missions too that are more important point wise than actually completing wizard mode. I think the points are pretty well distributed based on what you achieve.

Edit - Played SF2 for about 3 hours today. I own quite a few top games and I still think this game is great. You really need to take it for what it is. No it's not TZ or TAF, but it's a game that is just a blast to play. It started out as my only pin for about four years and I played it for a good year until it had some issues. I didn't bother to fix it for a couple of years. That tells me that it's probably not great in a small lineup, but now that I have several machines that include deep games like TZ and TAF it's a great change of pace game because it's so different. I was planning on selling it but am almost considering selling a different game instead.

I picked up a very nice example of this game two months ago. First off, the quality of the machine is fantastic. The game just feels sturdy and the shots don't feel clunky like some other pins I've played.

Growing up we had an original HS1, and this game is much better. I've played at least a couple thousand games on HS1 and I love it, but this game has a much more modern feel to it. It's like they took everything cool about HS1 multiplied it by 10. I know a lot of people argue that HS1 is better and they are totally wrong. My guess is they are saying that because they are rating it based on the nostalgia factor.

As others have said this game has great flow like all Richie games. The incorporation of the supercharger and the switching of gears into this pin is just pure genius. They couldn't have done it better. It's a challenging game, so hitting some of the shots will make you feel great. It's definitely not a thinking mans game, but I really don't like to think much when playing pinball. Like HS1 you can lock 3 balls and run the red light for a jackpot, but in this game the ultimate goal is to increase RPMs and excel to 5th gear and hit the supercharger for Red Line Mania. Nothing feels better than the moment you hit the supercharger and the machine screams RED LINE MANIA while the ball is flying around the supercharger. This game is a top 25 game for half the price of some of the other games rated in or above the top 25. If you can find a nice example of this game for a fair price you won't be disappointed.
