Schmitty is an awesome guy!» Read moreI am new to pinball machine ownership and didn't know much except how to play them. I was interested in his Evel Knievel machine so I contacted him via Pinside. He was quick to respond and really great in answering the many noob questions I had about the machine. I was really interested in the machine so he allowed me to send him a deposit to hold the machine until I was able to see it in person.

Once we arrived to see it, it was exactly as Scmitty described it. It looked awesome and everything on it worked perfectly. Play was incredible. It was just as he advertised.

Given I was new to pinball machine ownership, he took the time to walk me through the does and don'ts of handling/care of the machine. He pointed out the minor touch ups that he had made to the playfield and gave me a good walk-thru of what I'd need to know. Before this walk-thru, he was nice enough to fire up all his other pinball machines and allow my nine year old to play them all. It was really nice that Scmitty shared his passion for the machines and allowed us to share the fun of playing his awesome collection. My son loved it! He still talks about it and I'm afraid Schmitty and I have created another dude that's going to have a basement full of cool machines (and less cash in his wallet) someday in his future.

When it came time to load the machine, Schmitty helped me (did it for me) properly prepare the machine for travel. We used his professional movers celephane wrap to properly secure the backbox to the machine to travel. He helped me load it into the back of my SUV. He also gave me a bunch of great tips about how to unload it when I got home.

Schmitty said that he'd help me out in the future with any questions that I have in the future regarding fixing something that might go wrong with the machine. It's nice to know that I met someone with a lot of knowledge who doesn't mind sharing it.

So, he helped me from start to finish! I didn't know nothin about nothin when I started and now have a great pinball machine and some great knowledge from a cool dude. I'm not sure that everyone' "first time" is as good as mine....I doubt it....I got lucky and met Scmitty....clean living....
