I have always been attracted to Iron Man just on theme alone, yet I never had a chance to obtain one until recently when I got a Vault Edition (IMVE). Now that I have had a chance to play the IMVE a bit I can see why so many people like the game as it is very fast, plays smoothly, and has excellent, integrated sounds from the movies. To this I happen to have the shaker motor installed and, together with the sound/light package, really is a great game! I will miss the pin I traded IMVE for, yet I do not regret getting IMVE!

Ever since I first saw the title, I found Revenge From Mars (RFM) to be very interesting and certainly a game I might like to own. Now that I have one, I do not regret my decision at all.

Overall, I find the game play interesting, the artwork, sound, and graphics to be outstanding, and the combination video/arcade to be very well done. With all this said, I do not find RFM to be the best pin around as there are many that are, in my opinion, deeper with more varied shots (although RFM is no slouch as it has a lot of fun modes, and some that are not seen too often). However, I am not convinced that the purpose of RFM was to be the best pin and perhaps more to be a step in the evolution of pinball (I personally wish the Pinball 2000 line had continued), which I feel it succeeded well in. And, quite, in a game room with only a few pins I think that RFM may not last too long, but in a bigger collection (say 7+ pins) this is a great title to have; one which will draw owner, family, and friends in with its fun, uniqueness, and history.

Also, I think perspective is necessary for if one looks at RFM more from the video aspect I think it is maybe one of the best arcade machines around. Personally, I rather play RFM than either Star Wars:Episode I or Baby Pac-Man.

I was surprised to purchase a horror themed pin as I am not usually a fan of this genera, including movies etc.. However, I remember Tales from the Crypt from when I was young and how it gave me goosebumps. This aspect, plus other having said that it has some great shots and play along with the fact that I do not necessarily have a Data East aversion, allowed me to decide to go for it. And, to be honest, I have not regretted my decision. Nice job, Data East!

For my TZ, I have found that it has both outstanding flow and speed. And, quite, when compared to the other pins currently in my collection it has the best speed and flow. Yet, does TZ also have start and stop play? Yes, but I feel it compliments the times of great flow. And, further, with good shot placement I find that the speed/flow can almost be too much (a good thing).

In regards to quality I also feel that TZ really stands out. This could be both that I was fortunate on the particular unit I got but also that it is shopped and waxed. With these features, my TZ feels VERY smooth. This is especially true with regard to the pop bumpers as they are both smooth and very active! It is fantastic!

Nevertheless, in regards to the pop bumpers what others have said about the left side drain is indeed correct as TZ can be unforgiving. This, in my opinion, is the one aspect that is a let down in regards to TZs design. Yet being fortunate enough to own a TZ helps to alleviate this issue.
