My girlfriend and I are into pinball and arcades. We used to play them whenever we saw them in public places, like malls, restaurants, or movie theaters. We always had fun with them, especially the ones with themes and sounds that we liked.

Our last vacation before the pandemic was at Disneyworld, where they had a few games. We played a Star Wars Pro and a Guardians of the Galaxy, among others. Some of them were not working well, but we still enjoyed them.

When the pandemic started, we knew we would had to stay at home for the long haul. We missed playing pinball and arcades, so I decided to surprise my girlfriend with an original Pacman arcade. She loved it and played it a lot. Then I found an Avengers Hulk LE pinball and added it to our startup collection. She called it 'Hulky' and loved it immediately.

I also wanted to have something for myself, so I searched for a game based on Tron, which is one of my favorite themes and movies. I found an original Bally Midway Tron arcade and a fully modded Tron Pro pinball. I bought them and added them to the mix. Those were 'my' babies.

We got more games after that, like a Shadow, a Star Wars, and a Game of Thrones. We now have 11 pinballs and a few arcades, including some projects. We turned our living room into our own personal arcade, where we play, fix, and just admire those beautiful machines.

The hobby brought us joy during the pandemic, and we rediscovered it. We never thought we could have these games at home, but we did. We are happy, and we are grateful.

Congratulations and make sure you have more room. Machines tend to grow like weeds ;).

Tks! And you are right, we're actually looking for a new house with single floor + walkout basement. Just can't deal with those stairs anymore! :-)

Who knew those pinballs and arcade weigh 250+ lbs!

Be careful. The addiction is real and relentless.

I went to Disney and stayed at Pop Century in Oct 2022 and the machines there were horrible
