Being a Homeowner

Bought my first house in 2008 and wanted a pool table.  The house wasn't big enough and the stone foundation basement was completely useless as it took on water when it rained.  My only option to get a pool table within the walls of the house was to simulate it on a pinball machine.  Hunting for an Eight Ball Deluxe was difficult and when one was found, the price was outside of what I had available.  Then along came an Eight Ball Champ.  The price was within my range and the driving distance was only an hour and a half.  Me and my hungover buddy drove up to Erie, PA and that's where I purchased my first pinball.  Since then I've been buying, playing and turning over various machines from all eras.  My skills in repairing pinball machines have been increasing ever since.  This helps to keep the costs of the hobby down and to recoup expenses when it's time to replace a machine with another one.

Keep playing.
