Mechanical dreams-

Pinball is FUN- fixing EM games is perhaps as fun and more rewarding.  I am on my fourth machine and cannot wait to get the two in progress machines into the house and play all 4 side by side as god intended.  You can find me working on my games in the garage far less often than I would desire but often enough to accomplish things occasionally.

My goal is to take every game I have and bring them to their highest mechanical function, I want everything to be fast, responsive, and play the right way.  All my machines are set to accept coins precisely in the denomination and quantity they accepted when they were made- its just fun to pay a quarter for two games on one, a quarter per game on another, and 3 plays for 50c on yet another- quarters are recycled and unharmed in the process.

I started my pinball journey here, have learned much and try to help out when I know something someone else needs to know, and this knowledge too, is recycled like the quarters.  Most of what I know I learned by doing and asking on pinside and I like helping others when I can.

I collect games from the era just prior to when I "grew up"- I was alive when all my games were made but not yet old enough to hit the arcade- so I grew up on Joust, PacMan, DonkeyKong, Pong (my best friend had this) and the early commodore and apple II computers but rarely played pinball.  That was then, this is now.  I have no explanation to offer, but suggest that perhaps you do grow in wisdom as you age.  Pinball is FUN.
