Fantastic game. The T-Rex eating the ball and then placing it on the wireform is a great toy. It can be finicky to get working properly, but is a very memorable pinball moment. I also like the raptor pit on the premium/LE. The Jeep is an unusual and neat toy. Game plays fast and some of the shots (especially on the right side) are tight. However, I don't feel the game is too punishing. Guardians of the Galaxy also had tight shots, but in a frustrating way. The JP shots felt better to me in comparison.

The art, sound and videos are well done, but are missing a lot of the movie assets. I would have preferred more connection to the movie, although some user made codes are available to help incorporate movie video/sound. I think the art packages on all three models are fine. The LE cabinet and backglass are arguably the best. The green armor goes great with the theme.

Code is deep and well done. This is another game I'll never see the end of, but that's okay. It's a great game and deserving of a spot among the highest rated pinball machines. Inevitably, JP is pitted against Godzilla. I owned both, and give Godzilla the slight edge in "fun factor" but would be very happy to own JP again.

Very unusual game. The first thing you notice is what is missing. There are no pop bumpers, ramps, shooter rod/lane, slingshots, or outlanes. There are plenty of saucers and drop targets, with a few spinners. Launching your next ball by holding down the right flipper button, and watching for balls launched from the two saucers down the inlanes takes some getting used to.

The rules are different and throw people off, but it's not really that complicated. You guess the color code by hitting the colored drop target banks. The game will give you hints too. If you mess up and guess wrong, you will cycle back and your previous wrong guesses are visible and serve as hints for what not to guess. Scoring could use some balancing. I feel that wrong guesses are too valuable.

The art, sounds and speech are very retro in a good way. This is not a great game for a small collection and casual players may become confused. When people came over to the house, I had to explain this one to players more than other games. I can see why it didn't do well in arcades. However, it's a great example of trying something new and it is fun once you figure out the rules.

Solid game, but misses the wow factor. I prefer the Pro version without the upper playfield. Game plays smooth and very fast. I regularly hit one of the gold coin targets and drained before I knew what was happening. The game offers lots of strategy choices by picking different houses. I really benefited from watching video tutorials on how to play.

I thought the callouts (especially Blackwater multiball) were good. The animations were good as long as you have a color DMD... Artwork is a let down, but can be improved with an alternate translite.

I've owned Deadpool Pro for a couple of years as of the time of this rating, and I think it is an excellent game. It is approachable to new players (starting a battle and damaging bad guys makes sense). I have read some comments where people say the game is too easy, they beat it multiple times and got bored. This is NOT a problem for me. I feel the game has plenty of "lastability" even in my small collection (3-5 machines).

The artwork on the Pro version of the game is my favorite. I did add some Comet lighting to brighten the dark playfield. I really like the Deadpool movies, but this game really works well based on the comics instead of the movies.

Properly leveling the game is important. Although the playfield is not packed, there is plenty to do. I think of Deadpool as one of those situations where the sum is greater than the parts. It has satisfying shots, entertaining music, and humorous callouts. Two thumbs up!

Whirlwind is an excellent game. The topper and spinning discs integrate well with the theme. The lightning show is also great. Gameplay is a lot of fun. There is plenty to do and the rules seems advanced for the era. The layout is similar to Earthshaker. I owned both and decided to keep Whirlwind. The callouts are fun. Overall just a really enjoyable game.

Taxi is a classic late 80s game. The bizarre group of passengers and the funny callouts give the game a ton of character. The topper is simple, but perfect. I had to disable the bell because it was so loud my daughter wouldn't go near the game.

Originally I found myself avoiding the jackpot so it would build. Unfortunately, building the jackpot to maximum takes a long time. I decided to lower the jackpot max to 2,000,000 and increased the rate it builds up. This means the jackpot can be available for each game. This simple change has balanced the scoring and made the game even more fun. Taxi is a winner.

Classic system 11 game. The shaker and fault line are great. I added the sinking institute, which was neat, but does not impact gameplay. I wasn't good enough to consistently exploit the center ramp shot, but if you are really good, that could potentially ruin the fun. At one time I had Earthshaker, Taxi and Whirlwind. Taxi is a very different game, but Whirlwind is pretty similar. As much fun as I had with Earthshaker, Whirlwind was more fun. Since they are similar, Whirlwind stayed and I let Earthshaker go.

As many have said, this has a really great art package. Gameplay, like most pins of the era, is pretty straightforward. However, there are a variety of shots. I think this is an entertaining game that lasted longer than other pins of the era that I've owned.

A pretty attractive looking game, even for non-hockey fans. The chimes are fun, especially the opening and closing song. Gameplay is straightforward, keep knocking down the stand-up targets. Simple, but fun to play.

Artwork on the playfield and backglass are excellent. The theme and illustrations really make it stand out. I found it to be a pretty slow game. It was not as fun as it looks, and other games I've owned from the era were more entertaining. In summary, looks great but mediocre gameplay.

Rating based on version 1.06 with the Cleland code, which is a must have. Without the Cleland code, score would be lower. Beautiful looking game with a great theme. Gameplay wasn't great for me in a home environment. Some of the shots are tight. I'm not a great player, and found this fun and yet too frustrating. The basic modes are not very interesting. The Groot mech is fantastic looking. The magnet worked pretty well after much leveling, but was still inconsistent.
