Hi, I have come to love pinball....
I am a typical Gemini and have interests in a wide variety of areas, you know the saying "Jack of all trades and master of none" that is me to a "t". I have and am into cubes (speedcubes), retro nintendo LCD games, handhelds and complete systems, Slide Rules, rulers and vovellas, chainmail, locks and locksport, collecting 'books about books', comic books and records. My wife and I have also started buying slot machines, coin op machines and arcade cabinets but when I took my wife on a date night to the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas I had a ressurgence of childhood nostalgia like I have never had with anything else and have returned many time since to this place. I feel like I can spend all day there and have it feel like it was no time at all.
I have the bug and now an plotting the layout of my living room to see how and where I will be putting my future pinball machine purchases. When I was a kid I use to get the sears catalog and mark down all the toys I wanted even though I knew I would never get them...shopping in my dreams as if I was a millionaire and now I find I do that with bigger more expensive toys BUT...the fun part is now I can afford something like these every now and again. My wife loves Dolly Parton so I am doing my best to not only make her happy but get a pinball machine out of it.
I found this site by doing a search for machines for sale and love reading all the stories and eveyone is so helpful and the knowledge on here is like stepping into the Library of Alexandria, I look forward to spending a lot of time here and hope to make new friends and use this site to garner some friends over to the great joy of pinballing.
