Redman's Pinball History

I have loved pinball for years - in fact, back in the late 80's when I was in college, I worked at an arcade to get spending money (and play for free to offset my 'addiction').

I have always wanted to get a pinball for home but my wife was always against it. Flash forward to this spring and my doctor told me (again) that I needed to lose weight. My wife told me that when/if I lost 35 pounds we could get a pin.

My good friend has six of his own of various models and has contacts near him (he lives in another state) and found out shortly after I started my diet that a good pin came up for sale at a reasonable price. He told me that if I would pay for the pin and the parts to clean it up/fix it up, he would do the work for me as his part of the incentive, so we pulled the trigger to purchase my first pin (Hook) even though it was not my 'dream pin'. (I really wanted a RCT - I am also a roller coaster enthusiast, but it was out of my price range.)

So my friend bought the pin, did a complete shop on it and during that time, I hit the 35 pound mark and brought the pin home in June. We are all loving it!
