Played this at Pinball Hall of Fame. Worst part of the game is the flippers; they feel like late 70's style, and it makes every shot feel slow, weak, and the game overall feel cheap on a modern machine.
My 2 cents is that the flippers ruin the game entirely. Everything else looks and feels ok. I'd read reviews before and expected a dumpster fire, but seeing it in person was a surprise. The art is bright and fits the theme, plenty of ramps and bumpers and gadgets on the playfield, animations are solid. Definitely not groundbreaking, but in my mind it looks and seems like any modern machine. It's just a shame that the whole thing is neutered by terrible flippers.
Played this game on location, maybe a better maintained example would sway me a bit higher, but I'm just not a fan. The theme is dated and cheesy, and overall it just hasn't aged well. Played a few games, just didn't draw me in.
Bought this game solely because it was cheap and have been pleasantly surprised. The theme is stupid, but the game's a lot of fun. Lot of things to shoot at on the playfield, and good modes to play. Very happy for with the game. Ignoring the theme, the game is way underrated.
