This game plays up its theme well. The artwork and sounds all felt right. If the crypt keeper's laugh gets to you, this machine has it in spades.
Good and satisfying shots and plenty of metal ramps.
I enjoyed this game and the overall package.

I played this on location and found it to be boring. After a few games, I had no desire to add more money.
It needs more interesting code as it stands now.
The music and art are great but as always , it helps if you like Kiss' music.
The Demon head is cool but it drained too often without adjustment.

I am rating this game the way it comes out of the box. The voice actor is fine but it is so disappointing not to have the shows actors. The swap with the call outs from the show is a welcomed alternative.
The game is so brutal and ball times were very short for a lousy player like myself but I couldn't wait to try again.
Theme is spot on and the soundtrack is the main theme from the show ,which I love.
I don't like a bash toy so close to out lanes and flippers. I'm looking at you well walker!!
The build felt a little cheap like corners were cut compared to say, Metallica. I did love the LE cabinet art!
The rules definitely made me feel like I needed to survive and that's what the show is about. Great job there.
I want to play some more

This game was pretty brutal in it's difficultly.
The artwork is amazing and themed very well. Magneto's magnet is great and the rules were interesting.
I could not get past the awful voice acting and call outs.
It prevented me from buying a beautiful used one that I played on.

Taxi was exactly like I anticipated. Fast and fun and pretty hard.
One of the best skill shots I've come across to start your ball and then it's just fun. I enjoyed the sounds and art but it hits a home run in what really counts...fun.
Not deep enough to be your only pin.

Metallica is definitely a "just one more game " kind of pinball machine!
I will say that while I am a fan of their music, I am not a diehard. I actually enjoy AC/DC and Kiss music more but only because they feel more like songs you can sing along to. But with that being said, you can't ask for better in your face pinball music to slap a silver ball around to!
There is so much to shoot for and so many cool modes to progress to as well. The hammer , the snake mouth, the bad ass sparky in the electric chair and the rising grave!. All satisfying shots !
The artwork is an acquired taste and I love it ,but it beats any photo shopped actors or band member faces any day . I think all machines should have original art! There is so much representing the band and their music here!
I love the metal ramps and the toys all feel really solid. The light show is amazing and with a few key mods, it's over the top.
My only gripe might be that I wish the band member call outs had a little more desire and oomph to them but they are not bad.
