PinW's pinball adventure

PinW's pinball story begins at an tiny arcade that was located in a department store in New Jersey, as a boy in the early seventies. There were at least three pinball machines, but only one I remember was Jumpin' Jack. I would place my quarter on the machine, as I had observed others doing, so I would get my turn. It was exciting, this pinball world I entered.

Fast forward to 2009 (basically between the early seventies and the late 2000's for PinW it was play pinball wherever and whenever I found it: arcades, bowling alleys, laundromats, etc.), when I discovered Farsight's video game versions of Gottleib and Williams machines. I also came across the documentary Special When Lit, and still a NJ resident, I learned of the Silverball Museum in Asbury Park. And for a few years this was enough.

Finally I decided, in June of 2013, that for PinW the time had come. I was going to buy a machine for my home. After looking on eBay here and there, I decided to keep an eye for machines listed on Craigslist. Early the following month a Williams Gorgar that needed some work turned up. I bought it, and the rest, as they say, is history...
