Absolutely love this game and was the 2nd modern Stern game I bought. The variety, the music, the art....awesome. Risk/reward elements during Crank It Up are intense. The playfield toys like Sparky, the Captive Ball, Snake etc. are all great and really integrated. Fun, intense multiballs, flowy ramps, variety of interactive gimmicks, in-line drop targets, and Metallica music ..what's missing???!!! Not sure I'll ever trade or sell this game.

Artwork, lighting and music are top notch. It's a looker - cabinet and playfield art are some of my favorites. Gameplay is really fun and has a really good feel. The toy box is a cool gimmick and it's really fun risk/reward feature when you get to choose to skip multi-ball to try to add more balls for multiball.

Love this game - lots of shot variety. Very intense and a total "one more game" experience. Several shots are tough to make (between the pops) and can be frustrating, but I really enjoy the challenge. The aggressive music enhances the play intensity and speed for a high speed rush. Rules are deep and clear enough for the average player to keep up but complex enough to keep interest over the longer haul. Definitely one of my favorites!

Love the variety of shots, theme integration, rules and playfield toys/mechanisms. Good deep rules that keep it interesting in a home collection for a long time. But the player can also keep it simple and have a lot of fun. Middle of the playfield is a little dark but spotlights help with that. Sometimes the animations slow down play in between balls but a minor gripe. Overall this is one of my favorites to play.

The overall package is just stunning and top notch - well lit with amazing animations, artwork and of course music. The rules and what to shoot for take a little getting used to right out of the gate. Ill admit, at first I was confused on what to shoot and when. But the more I played it, I started to get it and then was sucked into the whole risk/reward aspect which is a thrill and total rush. The game is addictive and awesome. A very different type of gameplay to what I have in my collection which is why I really like it - and I grew up listening to GNR so thats a no brainer. The more I play, the more I love it. Theme integration and player immersion is best of the best and it's the total package. I don't find the multiballs to be overwhelming at all (I WANT them during song mode) The SE is plenty loaded, beautiful machine that has an amazing light display and shoots well. Excellent value. Not floaty and not blazing fast - just right with good flow.

Really a fun and fast game with enjoyable theme integration. The shots are so smooth. The rules are deep, but the lit shots are obvious. Obtaining maximum high score may involve exploiting more complex, but unique rules like being able to move shot multipliers, however for me thats what gives it lastability and something to look ahead to if/when I want to dig in and not just follow the basic rules. The Star Wars animations, music and sounds are nostalgic for me and just plain awesome. IMDN and JP have taken a back seat right now...although they're both awesome too.
