Jaws was a dream theme for me and for that reason, I knew I was getting either a premium or an LE, whichever visually blew me away. The LE won, and even though I was excited, there was some concern underneath it all that I was forking out a hefty price for a game that I couldn't try out first. The leaked photos and videos did make me think a lot of things people who criticized the game before release pointed out - the bottom half of the playfield looked a little empty, THE SHARK DIDN'T EAT THE BALL, Roy Scheider wasn't on the artwork etc. etc. etc. Well, now that I have my LE in my gameroom, I can happily say that none of these concerns even matters now.

The game plays great. The shots are fun (Quint's shack in particular feels great), and they're laid out slightly off so they seem to be slightly difficult to hit, but also very hittable. The chumline feature is way more awesome than I expected - I LOVE hitting the moving fin target. The upper playfield is a little tough to get up to and very tough to stay up on, but this keeps the game flowing nicely. The pop up bash shark is very cool apart from the few times the ball has gotten stuck under the playfield with it (just slows the game down briefly) and apart from the single time I got it wedged in a way that the shark couldn't go down and I had to remove the glass.

The theme is fantastic. The video and audio integration is absolutely incredible. I never though I'd find a game that does it as well as Heighway Alien, but this game does. The amount of video from the movie makes you feel like you are in the actual movie. There are some touches from Jaws 2, and a few I've noticed from Jaws 3D. I haven't seen anything from Jaws the Revenge (boohoo), but the shark does make the dreaded roaring sound when you bash it, so there is at least all 4 of the Jaws films in here, despite it still being almost purely the legendary original.

As for the look of the game - the mirrored backglass is PHENOMENAL. The foiled cabinet artwork looks stunning and really creates the illusion of being underwater. The great white powder-coated body armor is also super awesome in how it looks with the foiled artwork. The playfield does look a little weird without Brody, but given the circumstances, it's dang good for what they had to work with. The side art blades really help create the world of Amity Island under the glass too.

I find myself wanting to play it over and over and over again. It seriously exceeded my expectations - I was excited, but I was also realistic, and this game is just so freaking fun. Even after a game when you're seeing if you match to get a free game it's awesome. Wrapping it up with Brody and Hooper kicking towards shore and then hearing Quint sing 'Farewell and Adieu to you fair Spanish ladies"...it's all the feels here if you're a Jaws fan.

I managed to come across one of these in the wild and played it as soon as I saw it. It was definitely fun, but like many of the music-themed pins, it didn't have the same appeal as non-music themed games do. I can see GNR fans loving this, but I'm not really sure it's going to stand out much from other pins otherwise. That being said, the shots feel good and multi-ball is awesome. The music was so loud as I was playing it that I wished I could adjust the volume and that's never happened before (it's an awesome thing in this case) - the sound was clear and definitely would be spot on to what GNR fans would want I'd say. I'd still prefer to play other Jersey Jack games before this, but it's way better than Wonka at the very least in my opinion - a nice rebound by JJP.

I had been looking forward to playing this game for some time now and it didn't disappoint. It was far from perfect, but it was definitely fun. I would agree with a lot of the critical comments about how the Demogorgon toy being hidden by the laboratory is a bit of a letdown because I would love to see it there the entire time to build up some excitement, but I still really enjoy the idea. Hitting that ramp shot feel really good to me. I think the biggest issue I have with the laboratory is that it hides the view of something the playfield behind the Demogorgon.

Aside from that, the playfield layout is pretty good and the shots flowed well on the pin I played. The overall feel of the artwork of the game is very effective, and the sound quality is strong. Fans of the show should be able to enjoy this pin if their expectations aren't beyond unreasonable. It could be better, but a lot of pins could be. I'd say that out of the more-recent Sterns that I've been excited about, this falls second to Jurassic Park.

I'm definitely not a Kiss fan, but this pin is fun despite that. I guess I would enjoy it more if the music was more appealing. The premium does add a few perks that I noticed were missing, as one would expect.

I for one think that the standard Star Wars pin by Stern was a major disappointment. That said, this was more fun than I expected, but still not fun enough to be memorable. A Star Wars fan would be best off saving for a Premium or LE version of the standard pin to get the best experience.

This was an obscure game that I actually enjoyed when I thought it would underwhelm. The four flippers do set up a lot of shots that feel good enough to warrant continued playing.

I found one of these in a local arcade and I got a few games in. It wasn't all that fun compared to other games that came out around the same time. The lighting wasn't all that great and at times it was somewhat annoying. The shots didn't feel all that rewarding either.

After playing the premium I can confirm that I definitely need that extra T-rex functionality to feel fully satisfied, but the pro is awesome too. The shots feel good, the game rules are fun and the overall experience is as good as one should expect with Jurassic Park without the iconic characters. Awesome pin.

The premium would be the way to go in my opinion, but the pro is still fun. I just don't think this game really stands out for any reason and in a room full of games I would probably be able to find several others that do stand out.

This game is fantastic and I really hope to get one soon. The playfield is loaded with shots that feel good, and that T-Rex functionality upgrade on the premium makes a big difference.

This is a very under-rated game. The callouts are a bit cheesy but they can be upgraded with sound mods. The game flows well, Groot is an excellent playfield feature, and that Rocket kickback shot is a lot of fun. It plays very much like Metallica, which suits me well, as I love Metallica, but don't care for their music enough to get one.

It took me years to get this game into my collection after wanting one since it was revealed. It was way beyond worth the wait and money. This game is absolutely incredible. The theme integration including the video and sounds is simply unmatched by any other game I've played, ever. Is it a perfect machine technically? Far from it, especially lacking the presence of Ripley, but it's as perfect as can be without her. Heighway cut some corners I'm sure, but I'm so fortunate that my LE is in perfect working order and I've snagged a ton of spare parts in case it needs repairs in the future, which I'm sure it will, but I still don't care the challenges involved with that - this game is absolutely astounding and worth the efforts. If you have a chance to play this game in full-working order, give it a chance! The game gets a bad rap and deservedly so in regards to how things went south with Heighway, but the game itself is way better than how it is rated here on Pinside. I literally get goosebumps playing it and I have never laughed in joy so much during any other pinball game experience - it is special.

I finally found one of these to play and it was a ton of fun. It lived up to the hype. A very cool theme that is captured very well by the game itself. Plenty of shots, cool playfield toys...you name it, this game has it.

Willy Wonka was a theme I thought I had to have if it became a reality, but I simply just do not feel too strongly about this game. The LE at least has Gene Wilder in the art package, which I feel is a must - this standard doesn't feel complete without him. On top of that, I think the ball drain tendency is just a bit too excessive to justify continued play on location if that location requires pay-per-game, like the one I was at yesterday. It's a beautiful playfield, but I still feel like there is a lot to be desired, and I just can't see myself enjoying this game enough to continue to play it with my other current games. I'm saddened to say that I will not be getting a Willy Wonka pin, though I do understand why a lot of people are very high on it - it is NOT a bad game, it's just not anywhere near where I hoped it would be (and I knew it wouldn't live up the ridiculous hype that was generated for it as we waited for it to be revealed).

What can I say? I love this game and have to get one eventually. The shots are so numerous and very unique. I do think the premium is definitely worth it over the pro in this case, but the pro is so awesome too.

This game is quite a bit of fun, along the lines of Lethal Weapon 3, Batman Forever, and Last Action Hero...cheesy 90's movies with good pins. Plenty of shots, some cool multi-ball action, and corny enough call-outs. Out of the other three games I mentioned and this one, I'd say only Batman Forever is superior.

This game is alright, but I was expecting more. It didn't help that I had just played LOTR and that blew me away, so this felt a bit underwhelming. There are plenty of shots to hit, but I didn't feel all that interested in hitting them after a few games. I guess the game may have more of an impact had I ever watched a single episode of GOT and understood the hype.

I finally found one of these to play and I'm quite thankful. It's a very fun shooter...plenty of shots and they make you feel good when you figure them out. The lower playfield is simple, but fun. The animations felt weak, but that's not a big deal. Give this one a go if you see it and haven't played it.

This is a fun game but it didn't leave that much of an impression. Plenty of shots and comparable to Fish Tales in my opinion, which is another good game that's just a bit better. I wasn't blown away enough to go out of my way to play this, but I'm sure I'll get plenty of additional games on it in due time.

I can totally understand the love for the Iron Maiden games. I had played the Pro previously and was very surprised, but the premium was expectedly sweeter. Lots of good shots, smooth game play, and overall a fun game that probably wouldn't get old if you own one. I, unfortunately, will not own one as I have too many other pins to add to my collection, but I look forward to playing this a lot on location.

I realize that this is a unique game due to the vertical playfield section, but I really didn't enjoy this game. I felt fairly bored with it after just moments, and that's not normal for me. I wasn't feeling the flow of the shots, and none of the shots in particular felt all that good to hit. I'll give it another go if I come across another and maybe it'll grow on me.

This game is fairly representative of the Austin Powers movie, decent but nothing to write home about. It was enjoyable, but I wouldn't go out of my way to continue to play it if it were on location near me.

I was surprised at how much is going on in this game. I felt that it was easy to get into and easy to unlock multi-ball, which is always nice after you played a brutal game (I had just put a bunch of games in on Iron Man). I didn't really dig the theme at all and that did hurt its appeal, but I still had fun despite that.

This is a fun pin. After playing it and the black edition, I'm not really sure what the differences are. I wasn't blown away playing either as I'd hope to be from playing a Spider Man pin (he is one of the coolest superheroes ever), but I had enough fun to look forward to playing some more. Battling Venom is such a let down thanks to how horrible they portrayed the character in the third movie, but I can't hold that against the pin, which had nothing to do with third movie being awful.

I have been making a point to play more EM games these days and this one isn't bad, but it's nothing special in my opinion. I have definitely enjoyed a number of other EM games way more.

I'm not really sure what to say about this pin. It's not awful, but it's not very memorable. For the right price it could be a good catch as it does have some qualities that other EM games sometimes don't.

A fun game indeed, but I managed to get the ball stuck several times, which can be quite annoying. I do like the playfield and the shots when the ball isn't getting stuck, at least. I may be a fan of well-recognized theme pins a lot, but original-themed games like this have more charm in certain ways.

I never thought I'd like a game that has a translite featuring a dog playing soccer. I was was wrong. I actually quite enjoy this game. The shots feel good, and I enjoy the playfield features a lot more than I expect. The game plays smooth. I put several games in on this and I can see myself putting several more in on it the next chance I get.

I just can't get into this pin. I will continue to try to like it more, but the sounds are so repetitive, and the actual gameplay feels boring to me personally. The overall game play experience just isn't at the level I wanted it to be.

I finally got to play Fish Tales and it didn't disappoint. Loads of shots, and fun overall experience. I feel like it's a good comparison to No Good Gofers, which I think is awesome. I very much look forward to playing it again after putting several games on one today.

This game is definitely unique. I'm not a very big fan of the playfield layout, but the game makes me want to keep playing, which is interesting. The music and sounds of the game are very impressive even though the music isn't my typical cup of tea. I do enjoy the overall concept of the game, I just wish there were more shots.

Gorgar...I saw it and had to put in multiple games on it given how frequently I've seen it pop up on this website. It is a very cool looking game at first glance and there are enough shots to make it interesting, but yet I lost interest after about 5 games or so. Still, compared to other similar-era games, this is a good one. I enjoyed Pinbot a touch more than Gorgar, but you probably can't go wrong playing either (or both...they were right next to each other on location for me). I definitely can't say that I'm going to go back and feel compelled to put a ton of additional games on this pin because it was a little old after a bit, but I can understand why it is popular.

I feel like this pin is fairly simple, and I like that in ways, but I much prefer a deeper game that requires more skill and thought. Still, this is what South Park should be. I do enjoy the shots and the playfield gimmicks. The sounds get a bit repetitive, but that's OK overall. I definitely look forward to putting more games in on this, but it hasn't left enough of an impression for me to want it in my personal collection.

For an old EM machine, this is definitely one of the better ones I've played. Of course, it's hard for a game like this to capture a theme like Star Trek, and it certainly doesn't. That said, some of the rating categories on here are inherently unforgiving to this game. Still, despite the scoring, it's worth playing the game. EMs are definitely fun when you find a good one, and this is one that I'd say I'd pick up if I got it at a good price just to have an EM in my collection.

This is a fun pin worth trying, but it gets buried a little bit by better comic book themed pins in my opinion. Maybe it's the bad taste that Spiderman 3 left in my mouth. There are enough shots to hit and things to accomplish in this game that it would probably be way more fun once I figure them all out, but the question is whether or not I would continue to play it when it's lined up with a bunch of pins that are a bit more enjoyable. That said, it is Spiderman, and Spiderman is one of the coolest superheroes of all time. I almost wish we had a Spiderman pin based off of the 90's cartoon series.

I finally got to see what Pinbot is all about. It's pretty fun for a game of its age. I didn't feel like it played slow, which I thought it might from first glance. The shots are fun, though the amount of shots feels just a little limited, but again, it's an older pin. There's a lot to like about the playfield and overall the experience captures the theme well. I know there is nothing to relate them, but I compare this game to Fathom, an older game with a lot of praise, and this one feels better to me than Fathom.

I've heard a lot of people talk negatively about this game and I finally had a chance to play it. It's got a nice amount of shots and enough going on to exceed the expectations I had for it based off of what I've heard. I am a bit bummed to not hear the real actors doing call outs, but I can only imaging how much that would have cost Stern. The Hulk toy is pretty cool, though the ball got stuck on the one drop target mechanism right in front of it multiple times, which was annoying. Some of the shots are a bit challenging, which is nice. Multi-ball was a blast. Overall, I was satisfied, though it didn't leave enough of an impression for me to have to have one, and Avengers is my favorite MCU film. Still, I'm glad that a really nice fellow Pinsider who lives close to me has this game so that I can get more games on it hopefully.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but Batman Forever is quite awesome. This is a very loaded game for the money it would cost to buy one. The movie was not my favorite (far from it), but the pinball is definitely one I would flock to play repetitively if it were readily available to me. I don't think I will ever look to own one just because there are so many other games I really, really want, but really, for the price of one, I can't completely exclude the possibility. Again, this pin is easily for 3 grand given everything in the playfield. I thought the game I played was modded, but it was stock, and it has more going on than most Pro and even some Premium Sterns these days.
7.454/10

This is certainly better than the Pro, but his game still doesn't capture Star Wars very well in my opinion. I still feel that the playfield is too bare to do Star Wars justice. The shots are fun for a brief period, but then it's quick for me to realize that there aren't what I feel to be enough shots. That said, they do feel good to hit. I still get a little irritated every time I drain a ball and have to hear Yoda saying something ridiculously repetitive. I still feel that this would have been better suited as a pin dedicated to 'A New Hope' with plans to be make pins for ESB and ROTJ.

This game is definitely special, though I'm left wondering if it's better than WOZ. Still, you can't go wrong with this one. I love the various playfield toys. I particularly love the rear cannon which you shoot a ball from the pirate ship into the Brittish ship. I would need this game if I was a big fan of the POTC movie franchise. I do like some of the POTC movies, though, so this is a game I'd definitely like to be able to play a lot more.

This game is surprisingly fun. There are so many neat playfield features and the game does a great job at taunting you when you're playing. The shots are a lot of fun. Multi-ball is a lot of fun. Yes, I'd love it if this were a Caddyshack game, but it still feels somewhat like it is even though it's not. I honestly see myself wanting this game at some point once I've assembled a collection of my 'must have' games. This is a 'really would like to have' game.

Admittedly, I found this game a bit boring when playing it. It's got some cool shots, but the overall experience didn't grab me and make me want to keep playing (though I did, so I could develop a fair impression of the game).

I'm still a bit mixed on this game. The playfield layout is definitely nice and the amount of shots is too, but I don't know if I found it all that much fun. I can definitely see why it is fairly popular, and it may grow one me, at which point I'll update my review. I guess I just somehow found this game kind of boring despite its shots and playfield features.

I really didn't care for this time. I'll give it credit, it's unique how it starts off with 3 balls each time, but I prefer to start with one ball and earn my extra balls like a standard multiball. The playfield is fairly underwhelming. In very little time it's easy to hit all of the shots and then wonder what the incentive to keep playing is aside from padding one's score. This is far from the weakest pin I've played, but nowhere near the better ones. That said, it is unique, and that does still count for something.

I actually enjoyed this game a lot more than I thought I would. Knowing the gap between this and the JJP POTC, I anticipated that this game would be fairly weak, but it wasn't. There are some nice toys in the playfield and some pretty cool shots. I love sinking the ship. Multiball is pretty fun with this machine too.

This game is a little cheesy but it's surprisingly fun (I had my doubts when I stepped up to it). There are plenty of shots and I like the upper playfield. The dancing Elvis toy is funny as hell and exactly what it should be. I definitely look forward to playing this game more even if the cheesiness makes me laugh the entire time.

This game is comparable to Last Action Hero, but I like that game a little more. There are some fun shots on this machine. The specific one I played had some hiccups that didn't actually affect game play. The sound effects and music are underwhelming but about what I'd expect for this theme and this time period of game. I did enjoy it enough to play several games on it and I will play it more whenever I get around to returning to the location that has it.

I was surprised that my first game on this machine went so well. I haven't played it that much but I understand the premise at this point and can say that it's fun, just not a must-play for me when other games are open to play. The multiball was pretty fun and the shaker motor definitely does the trick when it is unlocked. Definitely worth a try if you see one to play.

I didn't have high hopes for this game, but it is actually quite fun. I'm not sure if the lighting on the machine that I played was fully functional, but if so, then the game is a bit too dark and it's challenging to see a lot of what's going on. Still, there are a lot of shots for it being an older game. The speed of the game is pretty good too despite the age of the game.

I can easily see why people enjoy this game, but the theme isn't really all that mind-blowing to me. Still, it has plenty of shots and neat playfield features. I think I actually prefer Houdini more when it comes to American Pinball games.

I was able to appreciate what makes the original game distinctive from the remake, which I am thankful for. This game has all of the fun of the slightly-smoother remake. The shots are there, the toys are certainly there, and I think I prefer the vintage sounding machine over the remake version to be honest.

I finally was able to play a Metallica pro. It's a very good machine, but I did miss the hammer ball-lock feature that the premium has. Metallica premium remains one of my favorite pins, and while the pro is very similar, it doesn't hold up enough for me to feel compelled to continue to play it like the premium does. That said, it's still very fun, it just doesn't have the 'lastability' of the premium (I still have yet to play a LE).

I finally got to give this pin a shot and really enjoyed it. There are plenty of shots, and lots of toys and other unique features that help this pin stand out among others. For an older game, this one sure has a lot of stuff going on and a lot of shots. I love having an upper and lower playfield. I love the double lower flippers. I think the only thing I didn't like was the flipper controls because it was a little misleading at first which flippers in the upper and lower playfields were controlled by which buttons. The game is a fairly decent speed game given its age. Overall it was really fun to experience playing this.

What a fast-playing pin (I love that). The shots are fun and the damn spinner can wreak havoc. I guess you want that given the theme. The music is pretty sweet too. I enjoyed the game a lot after playing it several times, but also could see it getting a bit repetitive and losing its charm after a bit of time, so this will be a good on-location pin for me and not one I'd opt to have in my collection. That said, I did not get to play a premium or LE yet, so those could change my overall impression on this theme.

I was so happy that I got to play a Beatles pin at Pinfest (it was only there one day). It's a very sharp looking pin. Obviously, it's an old-styled machine which is appropriate given it's the Beatles, and it plays smooth. I do feel that the shots are fun but they get a little underwhelming after a bit. I feel like most newer machines which are loaded with features and fast, more exciting paced play have spoiled a lot of us, and this game's ratings suffer a little bit because of that. Regardless, it's a really cool pin.

This game was absolutely brutal to me the first time I played it with a strange predilection for those dreaded SDTM drains and no ball save (it must have been the settings of the game at Pinfest). I had a chance to play it a few times since and fared much better. First of all, the premium is the machine to own in my opinion, as it looks like the Munsters, which was never in color when I saw it. I enjoy the lower playfield even though it did get old after getting to it a few times. A beautiful playfield art scheme, nice toys, and plenty of shots make this a pretty good pin in my opinion.

This game is a lot of fun, but I prefer AFM and MM when it comes to CGC remakes. That said, this is a must-play and the shots are numerous and fun. Unlocking the monsters is a fun concept. I feel like this is a perfect game for both adults and children to enjoy (along with those other CGC remakes). It's not overly complicated, so kids should have a shot to have a good time, but there are definitely enough shots to make it still challenging enough for adults to feel compelled to continue giving it a go over and over again.

I have never watched TWD, but I really enjoyed this game. It's got a pretty cool playfield layout and fun shots to hit. The toys in the playfield are nice as well. I definitely will look out to play it when it's on location as it's worth a few games without question. I can't say that I'd want one personally, but if I obsessed over TWD as much as some people do, I'm sure I'd be singing a different tune.

I played the Yellow Brick Road edition (I realize that's listed separately, but everyone is putting their ratings on this page). This game was really, really good. I never saw WOZ (I know, pretty sad), and I was more amped up to play Wonka, but this game firmly established itself as the most impressive JJP game I have played. There are so many toys and neat features, so many shots, and so many great things going on with the backglass LCD screen. The flippers on the particular machine I played were a bit weak, but the shots were still achievable, and man, are there ever shots to hit on this game. I think any WOZ will be able to say that this is the perfect tribute to it (I know I haven't seen it, but I know the plot and iconic aspects of it, and they're all in the game). I'm so glad that a local buddy of mine has one so I can continue to play it.

I have played several games on this pin and have no allegiance to JJP or any reasons to dislike JJP. I am a huge fan of the movie (it is in my top 10 of all time) and I was so excited about this pin before the hype ever built it up to astronomical levels. I am rating this game in context of what my excitement was BEFORE the hype was built up to unreasonable proportions. This pin is beautiful visually and the playfield is very awesome. There are a lot of shots, and it won't get old based off that reason alone. I didn't feel that the magnets offered much to the game experience as little as I even noticed them. The toys are cool but I don't feel wowed by any of them all that much; the entire package is definitely a plus, though. I do feel like the game did not capture my imagination the way a Wonka machine would. The toys are decent, but I guess I had just hoped for a package similar to the high-end models of WOZ. This game is certainly well above average, but I can't call it "special", and I was so convinced I would feel that it is. I was ready to order a CE but then cut that back to a LE after its reveal, and now that I've played several games on it, I just can't say that this pin is even a must-have, and certainly there are a handful of other pins I would rather have over it to add to my collection. I do think it could grow on me and perhaps I will want a LE in the future after I have those other pins, but only time will tell. Anyone who likes pinball absolutely should try this game and not judge it after one or two attempts (I have 8 games on it, and even that's not really enough). Perhaps the finished product will bump it up the interest list.

I had never seen this game before Pinfest and I ended up playing it over and over again several times because somehow plenty of people overlooked it. This game is absolutely stunning. I think the playfield and ramp lighting are absolutely gorgeous. There are plenty of shots and this game just feels like it should in every way. I immediately have knocked off some of the other games I am looking for with priority to hopefully adding this to my collection at some point soon. I never, ever expected it, but this game is one of those that just pushes all of the right buttons, and it blew me away like few others have.

I put several games in on this at Pinfest and would have to agree with the masses that this game is awesome. A lot of fun. I can only imagine how much fun the premium or LE might be as I only got the play the pro. Still, despite that, tons of cool features in the playfield. The game shot very well. If I listened to Iron Maiden this would be a game I would totally want without question.

I had to come back and update my review. For some reason, the game I played at Pinfest had the most obnoxious laughing that kept occurring throughout the game and it literally made me want to stop playing. I gave it another try at Penn Skate in Allentown, Pa and the laughing was not an issue. The game is pretty..the playfield artwork is truly stunning. There are plenty of shots, and a bunch of them are quite challenging, which I prefer. I could see this game being frustrating for people who aren't that strong when it comes to pinball. The audio, despite the lack of obnoxious laughter, was still a bit underwhelming. Still, I was so distracted with the shots and gameplay that the sound wasn't really that much of a big deal. A fun game indeed...not enough for me to have to have one, but enough for me to continue venturing to Penn Skate to work at getting better at it.

This is a really fun game. I thought I was going to regret waiting in line at Pinfest to play it, but it did not disappointed. The shots are very tight and it can get a little frustrating, but I like the challenge. The art on all aspects of this game is beautiful - playfield, cabinet, translite. The toys are awesome. There are plenty of shots to hit (if you can nail them perfectly). A theme I really had doubts about works well - I wouldn't be sad to have one of these someday, but hopefully I can convince a friend to get one so that I can focus on other must-have games.

As a huge fan of the movie, I was disappointed with this pin. It felt remarkably slow to me and that's the biggest issue I had. I realize that not everybody prefers fast pinball, so there is definitely fun to be had here. I had admittedly lost interest by ball 3. There are a nice amount of shots to hit but I couldn't see myself returning to play this pin repeatedly. It's far from terrible, just not memorable.

Finally got to play the LE and it is awesome. This was set up right next to an AFM LE and I would say I'm leaning towards that as the superior of the two, but it's hard to go wrong either either. I love the shots, love taking down the castle, and love all of the other toys. This game is special as everyone knows. Believe the hype - it's legit.

I spent most of my time at Pinfest today playing this game. I absolutely loved it and can't believe it was so much different of an experience than I had on the standard. This game was fully functioning (the other one was not). I love the shots, love the sounds, love the fun, and I loved seeing my dad absolutely fall for this game more than any of that. He played this more than anything else and it's now a given that I will have to add this to my collection.

Fun older game...I enjoyed playing multiple games in a row but had enough after that. Still, I'd definitely play it this pin again if I came across one. I felt like it was along the same amount of fun as Data East Batman without the excitement of a nostalgic theme. Shots were fun, and the game shot well.

I played this game at the Barcade in Brooklyn. I enjoyed it, but it definitely didn't blow me away like the standard T2 arcade shooter does. I felt that the game played a bit slow, though the play was about what I would expect for a pin of its age. I can definitely say I will look to play it again the next time I see it, but this isn't a game that I could play repetitively if it were readily available to me to play.

This game is decent, but I feel like I should be playing Twilight Zone instead whenever I give it a go. It is fun but it's not a theme that draws me in; at least Twilight Zone has a cool vintage vibe to it. All of that said, it's definitely a game worth trying if you haven't - theme matters more to me than a lot of players it seems, and this game is still fun despite it not matching up to TZ.

I never thought I'd really be able to tell the difference, but I've played the original AFM and definitely felt it had more charm to it. That said, this version still kicks you know what, and I'm sure the remake limited edition does as well. I'd eventually love to have any of the AFM games in my collection. Fun theme and overall awesome playing experience. I don't foresee this game ever getting old if I get one (original still preferred).

I didn't realize that this game would not have enough ratings for it to be ranked on the Pinside list. I've had the chance to play it (while picking up another machine from a seller with my buddy). This one wasn't for sale, and I can see why. I didn't think a game about billiards would be fun, but this game is pretty fun. I've sadly not seen another to play since that fateful day, but I managed to get a few good games in and look forward to getting another crack at it. Plenty of shots to hit, the machine I played was smooth, and overall it was exactly what I wanted it to be. This game should be a must-play for anyone who enjoys shooting pool.

This game is fairly average...better than some of the games I've played, but fails to stand out among other games. It is fun for a few games but I found myself ready for something else after playing it for about 10 minutes. I wasn't expecting much given the theme not being an iconic one, and it lived up to expectations, perhaps exceeded them to a degree. This would be a good game to break up runs of games on more intense machines (kind of like my BTTF pin being a nice break between Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, and GOTG).

This game is fun enough given what it is. I was surprised as I was never expecting it to be all that fun from the first look of it. This compares to Batman '89 in terms of overall experience. Fun to play, not necessarily something I'd have to play frequently.

I really enjoy this game and hopefully will have one someday. The theme is cool and the game really makes it an overall fun experience. Plenty of fun shots to hit. I haven't had a chance to play the remake yet, but I'd probably prefer an original machine anyway as it's very well done for its age.

I am not really a Star Trek fan (I don't dislike, I'm just not into it) but this pinball machine was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed using the blasters - a pretty cool, unique feature overall. I could see myself eventually wanting one of these as I initially considered getting one after I played it the first time. The game flowed well and the shots were smooth. I guess my only complaint is that it felt a tad bit slow paced when I was playing it.

I realize that this game really is a product of its time and not that much better than Back to the Future, but I actually enjoy playing it a lot despite its short-comings. My buddy had a very nice one that I was sorry to learn he sold before I could afford to acquire it myself. This game would be on another level if they could have really had the actors voices included, but not having them doesn't detract too much from the experience. I think I would get a little bored with this game if I did own it given the other pins in my collection, but perhaps someday I'll find one to my liking (I can't go with Batman 66 because Michael Keaton is by far my favorite Batman).

I was never really into wrestling, but this machine was fun for what it is. I can't say that I'd feel like playing it much if it were in my collection, but it's definitely something to try if you like wrestling to any degree.

This game is a lot of fun. I enjoy the upper playfield more than I do with most games. The game represents the Simpsons really well too. I even had fun playing this the first time and that particular pin wasn't working 100% correctly. Having now played it multiple times on a fully-functional machine, I can say that this is a game I may eventually want in my collection.

I have gotten play POTC and Dialed In from JJP. I can understand the appeal, but both fell short of my expectations based off of the reviews I have read on each of them. I did enjoy how smooth the game played. I think what holds it back to a certain degree is that I am not a fan of the theme. Despite that, I did feel like the game represents that theme well. I am hoping that Wonka makes me a bit more excited when I finally get to try it.

This is a good game that I hold on the same level as Theater of Magic and Funhouse - games that I would love to have in my collection someday if there's room for them after I get the essentials. I love the backglass on the game and the playfield. I frequent a place that has this along with the other two I mentioned, and I honestly find myself playing the other two just a bit more, but I think that's because I am a bit too young to have been into the Twilight Zone.

I really enjoyed this game and would want it in my collection if I had an endless supply of room and money. If any of you have any tips as to how to get an endless supply of either, please let me know. Anyway, I think the game definitely captures the mood of the film and I enjoy the playfield quite a bit. I will be playing it again soon hopefully - perhaps it will become another 'on the bubble' game that I will eventually want once my essentials are all in hand and other priorities in life are adequately dealt with. A lot of fun!

I found this game to be fun but for some reason it didn't hit home like it has with a lot of other members here. I felt like the playfield was a bit cluttered with very little room to see the shots I was making (the gameroom I was in may have had something to do with that). I look forward to giving this game several more tries and will update my ratings, but overall it didn't interest me to continue playing it when I readily had the chance my first time to keep going.

I played this pin and somehow got three free games in a row, which really made it awesome. I felt like it just needed a little something more than what it had. That said, it's a beautiful machine and still very fun.

Another music-themed pin I've had the pleasure of playing. This is almost as awesome as Metallica premium in my opinion and a tad better than Kiss premium. I do enjoy AC/DC music and if I was a bigger fan then this game would be a must-own. Instead, it is a must-play. I think I would appreciate it even more if I got to play it in a quieter setting, as AC/DC music inevitably always gets me pumped up - I feel like I lost out on that a bit due to all of the noise where I played it at. I look forward to giving it another go soon.

This game was in my buddy's collection very briefly. It was a nice change from current pinball machines, but frankly, it got bored pretty fast. I think that's more of a testament to my lack of appreciation for vintage pinball machines than it is to the game being not good, but I'm judging it how I felt playing it. The game is slow, as most old pins are I assume, and it was definitely worth the $100 my dad won it for at an auction, but that said, I'm glad it found a home with someone who wanted a vintage pinball machine so that I couldn't be suckered into playing it again.

I enjoy this machine and would probably compare it to Funhouse in terms of where it falls among my favorite pinball machines. I don't think it invokes enough excitement for me to want one in my collection, but this game will always be a must-play if I'm at an arcade that has it.

I feel that this game could be a bit better. The figures on the playfield look like the lame action figures I could buy in the Walmart toy aisle. I loved the movie, so I had high hopes, but it fell short of my expectations. This game is pretty darn difficult in ways, which keeps me intrigued, so that counts for something. I will always continue to play it on location in hope that I can break through and rattle off an excellent score, so maybe it will grow on me.

I enjoy this game a lot and can understand why it's rated at the top of the top 100 (not that the top 100 on the list is the best way of determining what is good versus what isn't). I have gotten a chance to play this more since my initial review, and I had more fun than I thought I would and therefore I'm updating my review to a better score. The game really grows on you and the castle is a great toy. The shots flow well and the game plays at a nice speed - something that less experienced pinballers could handle, but good enough that people that like a challenge (such as myself) still are easily amused. I can see this game finding its way into my gameroom someday.

This game deserves the love it gets. It's fun to play, hearing Gomez and Uncle Fester throughout the game really makes for an awesome experience. It's also a reminder of how it's sad that we lost Raul Julia to soon. I'm keeping my options open to eventually add one of these to my collection even though it's not a must-have simply because I feel like I had to choose between this and Indiana Jones by Williams, and Indiana already won. Still, I have a feeling I'll eventually be making room for one of these.

I am no Metallica fan but this game is awesome. Out of every pin I've played to this point, I think I understood Metallica the best and learning it was pretty natural. I feel that most of the games I play are fairly eventful and fun without quick drains etc. The accessories on the playfield are a lot of fun when functioning. I strongly considered getting a premium after playing it several times, which says a lot given I am not a Metallica fan as I said. Definitely give this one a shot if you come across one and haven't played it yet.

I've played Funhouse enough times...or have I? The game is fun and Rudy really is a very iconic game feature. I'd definitely like to have one in my collection at some point if I have the room for it. The last machine I played had a non-functioning Rudy, and the entire experience suffered, but overall, when this game is functioning right, it's absolutely awesome.

This pin is a lot of fun and I'm not even a Kiss fan. My buddy got a premium and I ended up setting the high score on it on my first play, somehow managing to get multiball about 6 times during the game. The game has a lot of neat features but we kept running into a problem with the ball getting stuck after hitting it into Gene Simmons' mouth. The game then would go through a ball-search process multiple times, eventually spitting it out without warning, pretty much ruining the game. Despite that issue, I strongly considered buying this game from him when he sold it - I definitely would have if I liked Kiss's music.

Having read all of the hype with this game, I was excited to find one to play nearby. I must say that I was a bit underwhelmed, and maybe that's the reason for my scoring - I may have been more generous without the lofty expectations. I feel that the game plays a bit too slow for my taste. I also didn't find it all that enjoyable while I was playing, though some of that may have been due to the setting (a bar). I'll give it another go if I come across it elsewhere and see if my impression changes. If so, I'll be back to edit my review for sure.

This game is truly amazing and I couldn't believe when my buddy was able to find me a fully-functioning one is great shape. I could play this game for hours. It's pretty impressive how it holds up to newer games in my opinion. I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan and this game definitely hits it on all levels for me. There are a lot of shots, the playfield is beautiful, all of the little added 'toys' are really fun, and the game flows very well. I'd say it edges out Addams Family in terms of fun and quality in my opinion. This is another machine I would never sell or trade out of my collection.

As others have said, this isn't the best game out there, but Back to the Future is a must for an 80's movie fanatic like myself. I absolutely love having this game in my collection just for its vintage charm and relative rarity. I do have fun playing it, but I can't get caught up in it for hours like I could on my other machines. I would never consider selling or trading this machine because of how much charm it has for what it is, but something tells me that Stern should try to get likeness rights and try to do an updated machine before it's too late to get some of the actors to sign on. A modern-day BTTF pin could be absolutely mind-blowing.

I saw this game when Stern announced it and had to have one. The premium was a necessity, as Groot's hands coming out into the playfield add an awesome effect. All of the toys in this game are awesome, with Groot's head being the best, as everyone else has pretty much said. Seeing Groot spit out the balls at the beginning of a multiball really gets me pumped. The game plays pretty fast but flows nicely. I'd say it's almost as fun as Metallica for me, and I absolutely love Metallica Premium. The playfield artwork is beautiful. I think my only wish is that they had gotten the entire soundtrack rights to put into the game. Still, there's enough of the songs to keep the game feeling really authentic. I love this machine.

My buddy got this machine and we were both really excited for the first few minutes of game play. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up. For a franchise as legendary as Star Wars, this simply should be one of the best pinball games of all time. Instead, it's a very open playfield with too few shots to hit and too few toys. I literally felt like there were only 4 shots to hit and it got old remarkably fast. The ball has a tendency to find its way SDTM too, which is infuriating because every time you lose, you have to hear Yoda saying something really annoying. It gets remarkably repetitive. The lighting and playfield art are fantastic, the audio really gets you into the game at first, but this is by far my least favorite Stern pinball machine so far (I haven't played them all, of course). My buddy was frantically looking to sell or trade this game soon after he had it, after being so excited when it arrived. Definitely a missed opportunity on Stern's part in my opinion.

As much as I love the Ghostbusters Pro machine in my collection, I was surprised to find that I didn't like the Premium as much (I have yet to play a LE). The machine I played was beautiful and I was really excited at first, but I felt that the ramp shots were not smooth. These were shots that are very smooth on my machine. The machine was appropriately leveled and well maintained too. Still a great game, and I can't fathom thinking this because I definitely prefer the Premium layout and artwork, but I'm happy with my Pro.

This pin got me into pinball. Simply put, I think Stern nailed this machine. The call-outs from Winston are fantastic, the other quotes from the other characters from the film give me goosebumps. The digital monitor display is awesome and truly amazing when upgraded to a color DMD. I feel that the game is quite challenging, but the shots are smooth, the game flows well, and I find myself wanting to play for very long periods of time without getting bored. I would never sell or trade this machine. The only thing holding this game back from being a perfect machine is the really annoying ball-drain issues that everyone knows about. Most of the time the ball drains due to no fault of the player, and that's really aggravating. Besides that, this game will make you feel everything great about Ghostbusters that you ever wanted.
