If you want to fall back in love with playing any of your pinball machines, just add in LED's. That is my main additction now is populating my machines with. They really brighten up dark spots, especially in the Twilight Zone and the Star Trek Next Generation machines. You may just want to start off with just replacing the general illumination. I've used 100's of the Ablaze 3-LED's from Pinball Life. There is no other one I've seen this bright for the GI. Install a few, you'll see what I mean.

Yep, I agree! I love the LED lighting as well. Can get up to a few hundred to do a machine, but it's worth it for sure!

The picture is a shot of my Twilight Zone backbox in the dark. You can see that the whites are very bright. With the regular bulbs, the translight has a yellow tint to the white colors. I also added a red transparent plastic overlay over the DMD which gives a different look to the TZ.

I've seen some fantastic tables done over in LEDs at show like Allentown PA.- like night and day

Not to mention they draw less power which solves a lot of problems on the older machines.
