My Pinball Story

Yes. it has been a long time ago.. in the mid 70's I used to go to English class in the evening twice a week, together with a good friend (this is what my parents knew). But (un)fortunately the school building was close to Zurich's famous "Niederdorf", the old part of town which used to have many game rooms. So we usually spent once a week playing the silver ball on machines like Fast Draw, Joker Poker etc.

In 2010, friends of us invited us to visit them - what a surprise there were 5 pinball machines in the basement. This was the start of my new hobby. Today I own 22 Pins and my main interest is to "repair them all". As a former electronics engineer but long time away from the "hard stuff" I was really enthusiastic to go back and fix these crazy machines, from old EM's to the modern digital based stuff. My favorite Pins are the 6800 based machines which are fun to repair. Unfortunately, I need to spend most of my time repairing but if I have time I visit Pincity oder Edy's PinBall Room here near Zurich.
