My life and pinball

I will start be introducing myself. My name is Gavin I'm in my mid forties with three kids in their 20's. I have lived in Sydney Australia all my life. My partner Lisa and I have been together for over 18 years.

I started playing pinball in the late 70's through to late 80's. Most of this was at the Ettalong arcade, I would ride down on my bike about 3 miles to get there from our caravan we stayed at most weekends. I can remember playing Ace's High, Centaur, Black Hole, Haunted House, Kiss and others....

I had kids early which brought an abrupt holt to my pinball days....Hello Responsibility. Hardly played over next twenty years.....but always spoke about owning a pinball one day. (If I only knew you can't stop at one!), kids now grown up and the time was right to pull the trigger on a Pinball machine. I was told I could only have one(ha ha) so the next problem was trying to work out which one! After a couple of months I decided on a TZ. Unfortunately I run into a lot of issues which took months to fix them all, now 100%. Having all the issues was a blessing in disguise as I worked through most myself with guidance over the phone and watching the tech. when he was out. I now had the confidence I could fix general problems and was ready to get another pin...yes the bug had bitten bad.

I have since purchased another 5 pins, Met Prem, Wipeout, TSPP, Dr Who and Pinball Magic. I have two new pins ordered, AMH and ThunderBirds both due end 2015. Plans for a new games room in 2016. Hope to have capacity for 20, but not planning to have more than 10.

Other interests include: Golf, Skiing, Fishing and being retired so I can do what ever I want when I want!

Thanks for taking the time to read my brief story, please PM me if you have any questions or would like further info.
