Started playing pinball in the 70's in Indiana as a teenager. Mostly electro-mechanicals and some early ss pins back then. My friends and I played pinball at two laundromats in town, and at a pool hall near the university campus that had a room full of pins. Picked it up as a hobby in 2004 through 2006 when I discovered you could buy pinball machines on ebay. Then got back into pinball in 2011 when I had more time for it. Collection is currently mostly machines from late 70's - early 80's. Had some e-m's ('68 thru '75), but sold 2, traded 1, and gave 1 to my daughter. I find it rewarding to bring a dead/dirty old pinball machine back to life. In addition to playing pinball, I enjoy cleaning & repairing them, installing new parts, etc. Louisiana is definitely not the center of the pinball universe. Glad that so many others still enjoy playing pinball.
