Unique pinball machine that at first appears to be a video arcade game due to cabinet design.
Flippers operated by up/down joystick handles on front of cabinet, instead of flipper buttons in std position on side of cabinet.
High marks for artwork and theme.
I like the game design, game play, and fun factor.
Look forward to seeing it be used in a pinball tournament someday. :-)

Collectable pinball machine mainly due to the artwork, and due to it being fairly rare (211 produced, unknown how many remain), and that it's the last single player pinball machine produced.
Playfield and backglass artwork is impressive.
A real home-run by artist Gordon Morison.
Some unique sounds for an early solid state machine.
Game play can be fast & furious when the ball is kept in the middle of the playfield and the playfield slope is steep enough. Just good classic pinball.

4 flippers and magnets, and a lot of things to shoot for with this pin.
Thumbs up for the creativity & design.
A lot of parts and features packed on & under this playfield.
A bit too much stop-n-go play for me.
Fun to play if you can keep it in good working order.

Overall quite impressive. Theme implemented well.
A lot of stuff packed in this pin.
Controlled lighting is awesome.
One problem for me is that the playfield is too dark when being played in a dark room. Needs more general illumination on playfield.

One of my favorite pinball machines of all time.
Metal ramps for Metallica. Check.
That would have been so wrong if Stern would have put plastic ramps on Metallica Pro to cut costs. Glad they put metal ramps.
Love most of the sounds on this pin.

I like the artwork and theme. Original & unique design is impressive. It is fun to win a special token and see it drop out of the lower backbox and roll down the glass. I'm ok with the smaller size machine. The flippers are less than 3" long, but still long enough for good flipping action.
Assault the Vault game play also good. I give it a thumbs up.

Could never own this game, nor play it regularly, due to it would be too annoying for me. I like the South Park show on tv, and think the theme was implemented well and artwork is fine on this pinball machine. Lastability not so good imho. To me this South park pin is an example of a good pin to have on a location, but not one to have at home in a collection.

Like the ramp that can raise & lower. Couldn't get into the gameplay. Artwork on side of cabinet & side of backbox is good. Playfield artwork not so good. Backglass artwork is good. I'll generally pass on this one and go play other pins that are more fun.

Not one of my favorite Stern pins. Artwork doesn't grab me at all. OK to play a few games on location out in the wild. Won't ever be on my wishlist. The moving buck on the playfield is well implemented.

Artwork is unique and cool. Game play is good, has multi-ball. Lighting ok, sounds are good. Awesome pinball machine for 1981. I can see why Centaur is considered collectable.

Fun game. Like the theme and artwork. Not awesome, but definitely a thumbs-up for this late 80's pinball machine. Pop bumpers moving up & down are cool.

Excellent example of a classic pinball machine. Blowing fan topper is the best topper in pinball imho. Triple rotating discs on playfield are cool. Has multi-ball and 3 flippers. Game has pretty good lastability to me. Artwork and colors are good. Theme well implemented. Great system 11 game.

Artwork is great. Good job implementing theme. Good mix of playfield features. Fun to play. Great light show. Quite unique playfield design. Definitely not "just another pinball machine". Shooting the ball around in the backbox is just a novelty to me, sorta dumb.

Impressive for 1971 to have 3-ball multi-ball, zipper flippers, a kick-back (left outlane) and a ball return gate. I like the artwork on backglass, playfield & cabinet, except for I don't care for the artwork (or lack of) on the playfield plastics, and a thinner canvas style matte border along the edge of backglass art to allow for more actual artwork would have been better imho. Sounds & lighting are rather basic, but typical for the era. Game play is pretty good all things considered.

Over-all, Rollergames is a fun pinball machine to play and it gets a thumbs-up.
Pretty fast action on this pin, w/ a lot of features, and great use of playfield space.
Lighting is very good.
Game design is excellent concerning use of diverters/ramps/rails/multiball/kick-outs & kick-backs
Artwork: cabinet -good, playfield -ok, backglass -not-so-good (needed more attractive ladies).
Speech & call-outs are ok in general, a few get old quick. The "Rollergames" chants are cool.

Like the theme. Interesting ramps, but not the best functionally, Some cool playfield features. I give it a thumbs-up. Some sounds/voices get old after a while.

Long ball times are common. All around the artwork is good. Over-all I liked playing this pinball machine more than I expected. Some funny sounds when the slingshots are activated. A great feature w/ this pin is that it is fun to play w/ 4 players as teams. Players 1 & 3 can compete score-wise -vs- players 2 & 4. I see that 6 players can play at a time.

Excellent example of classic pinball from early 90's. Cannon fits this theme well. Not enough good artwork on the playfield. Seems like large and numerous inserts take up most of the playfield. Cabinet artwork is ok w/ me. A good machine to play a few games when you see one out in the wild, if in ok condition.

Great game overall. 3 level mini-playfield is impressive. The 2 ramps are good. I like the theme song background music. 3rd flipper is important/functional. Great video modes. Good pace during gameplay. Has 3-ball multiball - good. Dr Who has lastability to me. Lighting good. Cabinet artwork good. Backglass artwork ok, but not impressive. Playfield artwork good.
A bit harder w/ the slightly shorter lightning flippers for the 2 lower flippers that were factory installed(more center drains / shorter ball times).

Excellent playfield lighting, nice cabinet artwork. Backglass a bit of a letdown. Sounds and sound quality are good/excellent. Spinning disc is a cool feature. A very good machine. Edit: This is for the Premium/LE model. Like it a bit more now that I played a few more games.

Big Shot & Hot Shot are some of my favorite Gottlieb e-m type pinball machines. Good playfield layout & game play. I like the backglass and playfield artwork, but cabinet artwork not so good. Lighting and sounds were good for mid 70's era. I liked playing Big Shot in the 70's, and still like it in 2012.

Great pinball machine overall, like the backglass & cabinet artwork, good lighting, sounds not annoying, like the ramps & rails, fun to play. This rating based on plays on 3 different CFTBL pins, all in good-to-excellent condition, and enjoyed all 3 of them.

Pretty good game play for a 1972 e-m type pinball machine. Sorta fun to play a few games when you see one. Colors on artwork not my fav. Lighting ok, but nothing spectacular. Classic sounds are good of course.

Fairly decent Gottlieb pinball machine. Sounds ok w/ me. Rotating cars w/ posts in center of playfield is well implemented and intermittently affects/blocks shots. I like the ramp & return rails. Flow is decent, moves fast sometimes, has multiball, cabinet artwork good, lighting good/fine.

All around great pinball machine. Not sure if the software has been completed yet as of early June 2012. Lighting excellent. High lastability for me. I'd like to have a premium model in my home collection. These comments are for the premium model. Most of my comments for the pro model are also applicable.

“I'd like to have an AC/DC pinball machine in my collection (any of them: pro, premium, BIBLE or LTBRLE). The ball action & flow while playing is great. Bell & cannon are cool features, but the artwork and outer cover design on cannon is not impressive. Lighting/sound/music all excellent. Nice that you get to select which song you want to listen to. I like the drum sounds when ball is bouncing around in the pop bumpers. Ramps/rails great. Cabinet artwork ok, but not spectacular. This game is fun and has lastability. I prefer AC/DC pinball machine over Iron Man. I've played some games on a pro model & on a premium, and 1 game on a BIBLE. Nudging adds to game play enjoyment and can help keep ball in play longer.
Re-rated to be just for the premium/LE models since premium & pro now separate listings.”

Another great classic pinball machine from one of the greatest years in pinball history -- 1980. All around I like EBD a lot. Drop targets and in-line drops are cool. Artwork pretty good imho. Some sounds are great such as when ball is bouncing around in the pop bumpers, but voice call-out sounds get old rather quick w/ me. I realize that the calling your shot type voice call-outs are part of the pool theme. I like the playfield layout. I'd be happy to have one of these in my home collection.

Black Knight is a good example of a classic pinball machine. Backglass artwork is pretty cool. Cabinet and playfield artwork is fine. Flow and action during gameplay is pretty good to me, and it has 4 flippers, multi-ball, ramps, drop targets, spinner, & magnets. Sound quality not the best. Talking pinball in 1980 = cool. I give this game the thumbs-up!

High quality game. Good pace on ball action. Lighting is good. Pop bumbers are awesome (design/action/placement). Theme is fine w/ me, but a bit odd. Artwork on cabinet & playfield very good. Translite artwork good, but not A+.

Guns N' Roses rules! Both their music and the Data East GNR pinball machine. Good multi-ball game. Artwork all great to me. 2 ramps: check, 3 flippers: check, good gameplay for a widebody machine: check. Would I like to have one in my home collection? ...yes I would.

A novelty type pinball machine that all should play at least 1 game in their life. It is the largest pinball machine I have ever played. Game play too slow for me, and not very much original or exciting stuff in the playfield (spinner is good). Backglass artwork ok, but playfield artwork and cabinet artwork not impressive. Colors selected for playfield and cabinet not my favorite either. No lastability for me playing this huge machine. It is funny to watch kids play Hercules. They have to stretch their arms just to reach the flipper buttons.

Williams hit a home run w/ The Machine, Bride of Pinbot. Has some unique features. Not just another ho-hum pinball machine. Cool theme and artwork. To me it would make a great addition to a home collection, and they get a lot of play out on location and/or at a pinball festival/expo.

Skateball is a cool looking game concerning playfield & backglass. Even has great pop bumper caps. Cabinet artwork is ok, but could have been made awesome w/ a bit more effort. I like the gameplay & speed of play. Another excellent game from one of the greatest years of pinball -- 1980. I'd be happy to have one in a home collection.

I'm not a fan of the theme and artwork, but it plays pretty good, including multi-ball. Some may not like it at first, but game play can grow on you w/ time. This is a game I would play a few games when seeing it out on location.

More of a novelty type pinball machine to me. Seems like the designers were targeting a younger crowd. Video clips are done well and are interesting for the first few games, but eventually just become something that breaks up the game flow. Cabinet artwork pretty good, as is playfield artwork. Backglass artwork not as good. Upper playfield hard to see. Seems like not a lot of different things to shoot at w/ this open playfield. At least it has ramps & multi-ball. I prefer the other Pin 2000 game Revenge From Mars.

Unique original design w/ the upper playfield in backbox. Cool design for getting the ball from lower to upper playfield. Game play in the upper playfield is more of a novelty for me and not so great. I bet this machine turned a lot of heads when it first came out. Probably a good machine to have as part of a larger collection. Artwork just ok to me.

Fun to play a few games when you see one. Lastability ok. I like originality of the Farris Wheel toy how it picks the ball up. I don't care for design w/ the excessive back-and-forth on the elevated plastic ball return lanes. Don't care for the ball launch skill shot mechanism other than to say I like that it has some originality to it. I guess for me it is all around ok-to-good, but not awesome.

Game lighting is great. Sounds are great, including the gunfire sounds when ball is bouncing around in the pop bumpers. I like that you can select between playing autobots or decepticons. Art work is acceptable for the theme. I enjoyed playing it, and would like to play it some more.
Edited to be for just the pro model.

Art work ok. Good animations. Fun theme. Not my favorite playfield layout. Definitely worth playing, but not a machine I would want in my gameroom. Would be great to put this pin in a beach town arcade or at a vacation resort or beach house. The whole family can enjoy this pinball machine.

Backglass artwork w/ mech animation spinning spider is great. Ramps & returns are smooth. A fun pin to play. Not a lot of things to shoot at on the playfield. I don't like spiders, but the backbox side art {spider on spider web} is well done.

Basic pinball from 1972. Not many good features on playfield. At least it has a spinner. Lighting only avg. Back glass art work is great. Cabinet artwork is a dud. Classic sounds typical of e-m pinball machines from early-to-mid 70's.

For only having basic stand-up targets and rollovers, Flying carpet is a good e-m type pinball machine. Good challenge trying to spell out "Flying Carpet" The placement and qty of "special" targets is good. Lighting is good. Backglass art good but not quite A+. Unfortunately the cabinet artwork on sides and on sides of back box is bad and does not match theme, and color selection is poor. This game requires nudging in order to help minimize ball going down the 4 out-lanes. This is one e-m type pinball machine that I would be ok with having in a home collection.

Nice backglass on this e-m type pinball machine, but not many good features on the playfield. Artwork on side of backbox is fine. Artwork (or lack of) on sides & front of main cabinet is rather lame, althought the bold red & white stripes do stand out. Just regular old pinball, nothing too spectacular.

Better-than avg for an e-m pinball machine, but only avg overall. The placement of the drop targets is outstanding, but the playfield is somewhat sparse and needs more interesting playfield features. Back glass artwork is great. Cabinet artwork ok, playfield artwork ok.

Classic drop target e-m type pinball machine from 1973. Excellent backglass. This machine requires nudging to help keep ball in play and to help get the 10x bonus light lit. I think this adds to the fun. Smashing drop targets w/ clown faces is fun, and trying to get all 10 (multiple times if possible) is the challenge.

Regular vanilla electro-mechanical type pinball from mid 70's. Simple game: knock down drop targets, then try to hit two targets to light extra ball and/or special, advance your bonus up via roll-overs & targets, then try not to loose ball SDTM. Left & right outlanes will score special or extra ball if you got them lit before losing the ball. The spinning disc in mid playfield has 2 posts and turns only when pinball hits a post hard enough (is not motor driven). Spinning the disc score points in hundreds or thousands depending which way it is lit at that moment. Not bad for e-m pinball machines from 70's.
6.781/10

Ok of a drop target game. It is fun to get the special "Wow" light lit and then earn free balls, and try to get up to 10 balls to play. When building up your score and it rolls over 99,990 then a"100,000" light is lit next to the score reels on backglass. There is an awful lot of roll-over lanes on this pinball machine. The drop target bank is a bit to close to the flippers in my opinion. Pretty good for mid 70's. Classic sounding chimes.

Not bad for a 1968 pinball machine. Family friendly theme. Light animation in back box for the spin wheel w/ sound effects. Classic bells & chimes for sounds. Several ways to get the wheel to spin. An extra ball feature is incorporated. Free games achieved based on scores. 4-player. Good lighting.

High marks for: Theme, lighting, artwork, speech, ramp & tube w/ lighting.

Enjoyed playing this game. Decent flow. Sounds were a bit repetative, but not too annoying to me. Back glass art not so good. Cabinet art work good. Playfield layout/lighting/artwork all good. Ball launch w/ pinball racing around outer track is a good feature. Varying the hi score required to get a free game is ok w/ me. Thankful that machine has a timer to grant a free ball if current ball in play drains quickly. Ramps & rails are fine. I will be happy to play this game occasionally out at a location, but not on my wishlist to own.

Sounds & speech are fine, not annoying. Shooting baskets w/ pinballs design is done well. Art work ok. Game play ok. I would not want this in a home collection, but ok to play it every once in a while out at a location. Shot clock was a good idea to implement in this game.

Backglass art ok, both the main cabinet side art and back box side art work disappointing, playfield artwork would get a better rating if there had been more of Vanna on it. Lighting is excellent. The machine I played seemed to drain fairly quickly quite often. I think if I would play this machine more and get better at it, I would enjoy it more. Not a must-have for me. I like that this machine has some uniqueness.

I like: the lighting, side art on back box, moving Mick (location on playfield, range of motion), playfield colors, use of some clear playfield plastics that you can see through. Music fairly good, some speech is annoying. Back glass art and art on main cabinet sides is disappointing to me. I had a lot of quick drains the few times I played it, so that was a bummer. Perhaps the frequency and speed of Mick motion could be improved. Not a favorite machine for me.

Ramps & rails are fine. Lighting is pretty good. To me it seems like the flow is not so good. Not a must-have for me. Thumbs down on the rotating flipper. There is some uniqueness on playfield layout which is a plus.

One of the better Gottlieb games from the 70's. Another great drop-target game. Nice mix & use of colors in the artwork. Sound is ok for its era, but not impressive. I like pretty much everything about this game except the sounds are a bit lame. At least the sounds are not annoying.

Just an all around fun game to play. Good artwork w/ good mix & use of colors. Sound is ok for its era, but not impressive. It has 14 drop targets, a captive ball for the 8-ball (& extra ball), two kick-out holes, and 3 rollover lanes in upper playfield. I like drop target games and the pool theme. You have to make multiple good shots to get your bonus up and bonus multiplier up.
