I remember the game that hooked me well, Bally Space Invaders. I was too short to really see down on the glass and the playfield, but the arcade with all the good machines had a few milk crates to stand on....I spent countless quarters and hours becoming a master at that machine until i could roll it over with regularity and win credits upon credit for my friends.
I now own that machine, along with a few others that have become a permanent distraction! For whatever reason, I love the early Bally SS machines and find something special about them.

Great for you that you got started at such an early age. I have a 4 yr old granddaughter that has been playing for 1 1/2 years. She stands on a "child sized" chair to see. She even has some of my "quotes" down while she is playing. "C'mon" "Oh Man" "JeeZ" "did you see that?"
Glad she doesn't quote the R rated ones...
