Plays well, reasonably fast for it's age but this really, really should have had multiball, it's got two kick out holes for it so that feels like an oversight as well as i think instead of the captive ball a set of Bally's signature inline drop targets would have given more depth to the game.

Can't miss how great the game looks, just a real work of art, lot of canary yellow going on but the purple on the playfield makes it pop and that backglass is just glorious.

The digital chimes are ok, don't care for the high school clock sequences and people really weren't kidding that bonus countdown takes unusually long to do it's thing.

Tough pin, lots of shots, three target banks, four ramps, stand up targets and several of them trigger timed shots on opposite sides of the playfield which renders it hard to figure out what you should be aiming for at any given time, one i played wasn't exactly pristine but it played very fast.

Upper playfield has access to the ball lock which is also very difficult to get to, locks carry over so you can steal somebodies multiball which is fun in a group session, there's even a Zaccaria style game over ball time you can earn so this is an impressively deep pin for its age.

Cabinet was clearly an afterthought, couldn't even be bothered to have the line work match but i guess all the black helps the rest of the game pop and boy does it pop. Stellar backglass, cool looking playfield with some Roger Dean esque details.

No background hum and the sound effects are pretty aggro, i didn't mind but i doubt everyone will love them.

It's Gottlieb's knock off Red Sonja, though i suppose due to the lighting and color decisions on the backglass there's only a minor hint of that on the playfield art in the form of a dash of red in the glamazon's hair.

Gameplay is all about the big bagatelle toy both getting to it often and trying to light up additional scores for the other holes aside from the top center one which is done via the targets behind the bulky stand up targets.

Does have multiball but like all of these it's just there for the sake of being there, tricky to achieve cus the rollovers you'd expect to advance the multiplier activate the lock instead.

Cabinet is meh as is tradition with this line up, drab kind of signal blue though there's a little bit of color on the backbox plastic and i personally don't mind the photo backglass, playfield is alright for what it is.

While not the best of soundtracks among these it's still very good sounding and just like all of them the star attraction of the game.

Plays fast. short ball times and the shots are tougher than they look. The lit targets move about when you hit the pops or the side bumpers and there's a central stand up target that moves back and forth as the main toy.

Cabinet has custom side art on the backbox which like with Cybernaut elevates it from meh to being ok, the color scheme and the thin lines on both it and the playfield give this implied black light poster effect vibe though nothing is actually fluorescent, backglass has good art.

Background pulse i'd describe as a bubble bass that increases in pitch, sound effects are alright.

I had way more fun with this then i thought i would what with it's limited amount of shots and EM/horseshoe layout.

Yuge playfield with lots and lots of stuff, most of which you simply don't have that much agency over cus this pin habitually plays itself leaving you to react at best and watch your umpteenth drain at worst.

Having said that there's something bizarrely compelling about it with it's incredibly short ball times and the exaggerated sense of satisfaction when you do manage to keep the ball in play for a bit thanks to shots you managed to make, i am to this day not a particularly good player so i expected to get fed up with this one fast but that's not the feeling it gave me and i ended up having a good time.

Cabinet is ho hum, i happen to like the backglass in all it's retro futuristic glory, the playfield says water park to me more than a spa but whatever it does look nice.

Beware the wrath of the abominable chicken hawk person! ...or some such.

If it weren't for the bright colors i doubt i'd have anything nice to say about the playfield and backglass art nevermind the clashing color scheme of the cabinet, life is about who you know and how well they enjoy your company more than anything else, i'll just leave it at that.

Gameplay is pretty fast and is plenty of fun for a short session which will end in outlane drains more than anything else, the end of ball bonus calculates it's multiplier in one go which is unusual for this vintage.

Typically comes up for sale cheap after having been somebodies first pin in order to become somebody else's first pin.

Just, flawless.

It plays a lot like if an early 80s Bally had a spoonful of late 80s Williams tight/satisfying shots, if that makes any sense, ball time is short and the big left pop bumper being surrounded by two bumpers keeps things very dynamic while the ball on post action to get to the lock or top doesn't drain nearly as much as you'd expect.

Soundwise it's like an early Bally, nice little background pulse that speeds up during multiball which has a minor light show that getting all the drop targets does too, can't quite place the game over jingle. Perhaps it's unique.

Cabinet is just ok, playfield is awesome and the backglass is stellar like the airbrushed movie posters of the era.

For a williams this one plays a bit clunky, dunno if that's particularly good or bad just it's noticeably different. Multiball, a jackpot, a mini playfield and even an old school horseshoe. Not everyone likes this one but i do as it fits my notion of instant fun.

Cabinet is alright and the runes are quite decorative, could probably suit a metalhead as much as a dnd fan without actually getting the bally dungeons and dragons i suppose, playfield is nice enough but the backglass is nothing special aside from the logo font.

Main thing here though is the soundtrack, i don't know what it is about this composer but clearly he's the only person on williams payroll back in the day who actually knew how to push their fm chip to it's limits as best evidenced in this alongside black knight 2000, space station and banzai run.

This soundtrack in particular is all synth 70s progressive rock, think alan parsons project for the main theme and it's variations along with a purely goblin style prog rock organ piece for the multiball. It really is all that and imo sufficient to justify owning the game which i certainly wouldn't mind.

This game plays as if it has two playfields and it's fairly brutal, there's no pause in the action whatsoever unless you want to count trying to set up a shot with the closed zipper flippers or the one kickout hole but really they don't do much for respite. Instant fun yes but boy is it hard for me.

In fact because it's so in your face i think this would be a good candidate for a game where i do not mind the absence of multiball in the slightest as i can just picture it leading to even more and swifter drains, also for some reason the emphasis being on timed shots which i normally dislike really makes sense and fits.

Synthesized voice is spooky and the sound effects are good, background hum is functional but otherwise meh.

Cabinet is quite an attractive gold on crimson, playfield is a touch cartoony but it works and looks good and it has very striking backglass.

Quad pops, rollover buttons, a spinner, a ramp, drops, multiball, something of a repeatable multiball jackpot even etc this game literally has everything and is instant fun.

Cabinet is striking with it's red and blue on black, playfield has to be up there as one of the best looking in all of pinball and the backglass is so good it's no surprise people keep non functioning games around just for the sake of the thing looking kickass be it with or without the strobing lights.

Only drawback i can think of is that the background jingle turns to a rather nervous pace which i've no doubt will irritate a fair portion of people. That said it did not bother me at all while playing and the sound design on the samples used is probably the single best example of the era.

The one i played recently was one of the restored pride and joys of it's owner, very fast, fairly difficult even with short ball time and while i'm not a good player i still liked it a lot.

It's Gottlieb's knock off Transformers, complete with fairly competent imitation of Soundwave's voice for the call outs.

Some drops, a sequential target bank, a special that moves about and an inlane trigger spinner along with a ramp and a basic multiball so it's got enough of everything and it's accessible instant fun.

Standard 80b meh cabinet in firetruck red, a logo as with all the others and an airbrushed backglass that honestly looks like it belongs more on the side of a funfair ride but eh it sorta works. Playfield looks nice but nothing great imo.

Soundtrack is stellar and pretty much the main attraction, toss up between this and TX-sector for the best of the bunch, weird how nobody has sussed who actually wrote these tracks by now as said person could probably be a megastar in todays indie game/demo scene.

Timed shot, timed shot, timed shot and hey surprise.... no it's still just a timed shot.

This has to be my least favourite of the 80b gang, layout is quite nice and perhaps it actually has the most shots of them all but there's nothing worthwhile to do besides chase the next sequenced target or you're not going to score at all.

I dunno maybe that's terrific for a hardcore player but gosh it did not stay fun for me around the third game in and every other one of these i could play untill the cows come home from pasture, flaws and all.

There's a kick out hole ostensibly used to build up to an extra ball but imo that should have been the multiball lock, would have changed things up at least a bit even if like most of the other titles the multiball doesn't do anything in particular.

Cabinet is a nice bright red and meh as per usual, backglass is ok and there's not much going on with the playfield art unfortunately but it fits the theme.

Soundtrack is alright, like a racing game might have had at the time, no variation whatsoever though and it does have some voice calls but they're patently dull.

Can be had for cheap even in nigh flawless condition, it's not my kind of pinball but i know some people love the heck out of it so.

I wanted this to be my first pin so baaaaad but as these things tend to go in life...

Maybe the fastest one of the 80b lot or at the least i one i played was, dual ramp layout plays great, four pops speed up the ball something crazy and there's this one target that reacts differently depending how hard it's hit.

Two ball multiball and a below playfield reveal, it's simple enough and fits my instant fun notion.

Another meh cabinet like most of these, i like the photo translite it's funny and different.

Playfield art on this game is like something out of a hardcover comic book, like old 2000ad stuff very appropriate.

As with most of these the soundtrack is killer, like a chiptune horrorgame affair, maybe the most minimal of the bunch but it does it all so well.

I still want it.

Drop targets a go go along with a cool ramp shot that can go several ways and even has a drop down cut out if you don't quite nail it.

It's got multiball and a jackpot, nothing fancy but the whole thing plays very nice.

Machine doesn't look like much but i liked the shade of blue it has and the playfield fit the theme, so did the backglass but it was faded as can be so in all honesty i don't know how it's actually meant to look.

The star attraction of this game though, imo, aside from being instant fun is the wonderful chiptune soundtrack. Not quite up there with tx sector or robo wars but still very enjoyeable for those of us into the genre.

I missed out being able to get this one twice now, i would though if given the chance.

Even with the creepy clown and python's trademark "needs more grey" on the playfield, this a drop dead gorgeous machine, kinda like big guns or bad cats i imagine some people could keep this around just because it's so good looking.

Ruleset compliments the layout exquisitely but there is so much ball on post action in this game, it falls a bit flat for me, probably not an issue for a diehard but for a scrub like myself that makes it much too hard. Why doesn't it have multiball, that bonus multiplier looks and feels like it ought to be a ball lock.

While the music fits the theme like a glove, it's just too minimal for it's own good, really could stand to be a lot livelier cus as is it's incredibly boring.

This may appear to be a kiddie game but i think it's more of a zen thing for seasoned veterans.

Got to play this one recently-ish.

Very straightforward, making it up the ramp and getting to multiball after lighting the stoplights is really all there is to this game.

The lightshow is terrific, the obvious forebear of the lightning wheel in black knight 2000 and considering how well that's held up it must have been the most spectacular sight ever back in it's day.

Main theme is lacklustre, i know this is on purpose to add more umphf to the main attraction of the multiball and post jackpot tracks, both of which are very good imo, but really besides being tense it's about as lively as the snoozefest in taxi.

I had a good time with it, fast and rather tricky but surprisingly the outlanes were not wholly unforgiving and the kickback is very neat on this.

Would not want to own this for the price it goes for, despite being instant fun there's just not enough to do on it for my taste.

Fast and fairly brutal, i was never particularly good at it but it had everything to keep me coming back and i played this for several years.

Beefed up Elvira's theme after you score the 3 million shot is just one of, if not the coolest single piece of music in all of pinball to me. At least it allways made me feel like a boss.

Shame it's so expensive, the money it goes for can get me at least two lesser regarded titles or even a full fledged dmd pin.

Ok time for an update, having owned this machine for well over a year now...

This is a decent to good pin despite it's well documented flaws, it's not a great one because it obviously doesn't cater to hardcore players and lastability i venture is mostly reserved for people who dig 80s pins.

For newbies or perpetually casual players like myself, it'll do just fine being easy to get into for quick wholly family friendly fun.

They're generally affordable and the price doesn't seem to vary too much between a near mint or player's condition one for whatever reason but my advice would be to factor in the purchase of a repro centre ramp as every single one i've seen to date including my own has at least that part badly damaged as a given.
