Bought an nonworking Buck Rogers from a guy in Hamilton last October 22. I went through Clays guide in an attempt to resurrect it and was successful. It was a very fun game, however, the fun only lasted 1 day as the U5 "spider chip" gave up the ghost and stopped strobing. What to do? I know, order a Pascal all in one board from France(I found out about this remarkable person on the Pinside forums, Pascal Janin).

Meant to add some more to the story so here goes. The board worked perfectly from the get go. However, there were 3 underlying issues that I thought was a switch matrix problem as they were all on the same column(#21-10 point switches(4),#31-Rollover switches(2), #41-Kick out hole) but turned out to be separate issues. #21 was a stuck switch keeping me from getting my "Skill Shot" working(my favorite Pascal Board feature). #31 was due to a missing diode below the playfield(huh?:). #41 just needed a vigorous cleaning with a little alcohol and Voila, off I went! Just picked up a new sheet of tempered glass today as well to replace what was missing. I can't believe how much fun this old game is to play. Thank you again Monsieur Pascal Janin. Ton tableau est magnifique!(Google translate:). Lastly, the playfield needs to serious touching up and I am not an artist but whatever, Tally Ho!

Also, I have found out that repairing an old Pin is just as much fun as playing them!!!!
