So normally I would have agreed with these bad sub par ratings, and about a month ago I would have joined them. But on a whim I rented LZ pro For a couple months to get a real feel for the game. And I absolutely enjoy playing it now. Yes the art sucks on the backglass and sides, I do like the playfield art, and stern could have definitely added that ramp on the pro for that upper right flipper to make this game fantastic to shoot. But all and all Music, code and fast flowing shots, and a great light show really make this game fun. Plus the Top of the charts mode is a very fun way to play the game.
This game will grow on people, and I expect it to be like stranger things when everyone decides to play it, Rather than mock it.

This game hits every note, It has beautiful art everything is fantastic. Minus the flipper gap. But I personally kinda like it. The game will make you play smart, theme integration is fantastic . I can’t stop playing this one. It might drain a bit quick, but it makes you come back for more. Movie quotes and call outs are great.

So due to this being the only option for rental at the time I decided to, at the very least give it a shot. I had played it a couple times when it first came out, early code and no UV lights. I was extremely disappointed so renting this pin didn’t excite me but I like having a fresh pin to play.
What a huge difference the code and UV lights made. I really enjoyed playing it, like everyone said the layout is very similar to AFM so why wouldn’t this pin be fun. It’s fast the Demegorgon battles are fun. And the UV lights really change the way the game looks. I decided to purchase the game after my rental, Added a subwoofer and placed it in a dark room and bam everyone that comes over plays it nonstop.

I played this on a location, and wound up buying one. It’s a simple game but a great design for its age. The playfield art makes little to no sense to the theme but uniqueness make it kinda cool.

This wide body game has loads of shots, quite a few lateral shots which make for unique shots, Pats name Is written all over this game.. and it being one of the last super pins, it’s also an incredible value as far as 90’s Williams games go. I do recommend the 7.0 rom for this one.

This is the game that drew me into pinball, very young at this new place in town Chucky cheese. So my opinion might be a little biased. But I still love this game, the shots are fun, the whirlwind spinner’s keep you on your toes, the ramps where amazing at the time. One opens up!! And you have to hit that other ramp perfectly with the 3 flipper to get your millions shot.
After all these years I still play this game. Add a deep subwoofer and LED flashers to the cloud and back box and you won’t be disappointed.

I love all the toys in this game, bogie men, stiff in the coffin, bony beast, spider wheel, leaders, and crate. Add Elvira call outs, and potty humor and you have a super fun game.... for a while.
Eventually the call outs get old and you realize how easy the game is to get scared stiff. Yet it is still fun to play. It just gets repetitive for home use.

This was my first big purchase game, and I never regretted it. And I still own it and play it. Great rules, fun shots and call outs. The art still holds up after almost 20 years. And the playfield is packed. And who doesn’t love the Simpsons.

Only the call outs get repetitive on this game, very fast and fun. All the magnets are well done for the theme, watching new players play it for the first time is always fun. What already hasn’t been said about this title. Incredibly fun to play.

Every non pinhead player that comes to my house absolutely loves this game. It’s always getting played and has converted some people to players.
As a player, the game can get old, and the scoring takes a while to understand, and is super tough to get a decent score. But this game is a true gem and is a perfect fit for a home pin. Super hard to get over the rainbow. But easy to enjoy. All the toys and mechs are fantastic and well done, and I still think it’s JJP best all around game.

I will admit at first I didn’t really care much for the game, my girlfriend loved it. So when I came across one for sale she told me to get it. ( you can’t pass up a pin when you get the green light) after it had been in the collection for a while the game really grew on me. And now this game is bolted to the floor, It’s not leaving the collection. Great use of toys, fantastic shots easy to get a multi ball, it’s a complete package. But everyone already know that.

For as simple is this game’s layout is. It’s fast and fun to shoot. Super basic but the music, rules and call outs. Complete the game.

This game has it all. Great humor fun to flip, decent flow, fun multi-balls. It’s been in my collection for 2 years and it still gets played a lot. My only complaint is the red LED’s on the playfield, who ever thought that was a good idea needs to take a class in lighting. Thank you comet for that fix.

The game hits everything perfectly, my only complaint about the game is the lighting is a little dark out of the box. I loved this game from first flip. I wasn't too keen on the theme. I’m not a Jurassic park fan (movie) , however this game has changed that, at least for the pin. Great rules, super fun to play and always has that one more game feeling. Escape from Nublar is just as fun as the original game. I wish stern did this more titles.
Best stern game in a long time.

The first time I played this game I wasn’t to impressed, the code really helped this in time. Super fun, lots to do shots aren’t to difficult and plays like butter when you are in the zone. Excellent theme integration, making the shots match with the movie’s clips and keeping the Elvira game style. This game is a must own if you can find it and love the theme.

The game looks great, lightning and sounds are amazing, possibly too bright on the lighting but I’m sure there is a setting for that. (I played on location)
But gameplay was just ehh. Way too many balls in multi-ball and way to long multi-ball time lengths. Some shots worked well but most felt sloppy. I liked the idea on the skill shot, but it’s not great way to start a game.
Great music, but got board with the game quickly. It did not have that one more game feeling.
