I started collecting in 2002, but didn't realize it yet. Having played Theatre of Magic growing up and charmed by its magic, I just had to have one and in 2002 I finally won one on ebay and drove 12 hours round trip to canada to pick it up.
For several years I had just the one pin, it didn't occur to me to get another or more.. A friend of my dad's had a couple of pins that he sold cheap to my sister and I. I ended up with Stern's Big Game and she got the SuperSonic.
Again I didn't think about owning any others.. Until I moved and started setting up a game room.. Then I realized.. I can get more! And wow, addicting! I'm up to 11 pins and 20 misc video/redepemtion games.I need more room!!
