..Started out when my dad got me a cool electronic hand-held pinball game called "Wildfire". Other kids had the hand-held football games - but I had Wildfire.!

When staying at my dads on the weekends - I had to share my room with a Full Size pinball machine! .. and had to watch tv in the living room from under the pool table.. Haha, boy - the good ol' days..

Fast forward I recently picked up a few old Wildfire games on the internet and learned there are alot of versions.!. Eventually I thought I needed a real pinball machine - so the hunt began. I eventually found a Gottlieb "Gladiators" for sale and it was just 4 miles down the road.!!

As with all hobbies - I dove in. Discovered a pinball haven just 7 miles away with over 150 pinball machines on-site.!! It was there I discovered Sp00ky Pinball Machines and fell for the name and theme. The gotcha moment was when I first played Total Nuclear Annihilation. WOW - what an awesome game. The music and sounds was everything. When the shaker kicked in - it was a "Holy Cow" moment.. I had to have this game.

Disappointed to learn at the time you could not buy a brand new TNA - I began my quest to find a used one. However, as fate would have it - Sp00ky and the designer decided to run production again for a "CE" limited run version. OH - Happy DAYS.!!

So, with 2 machines in my stable and boxes of spare parts = I am ready...

Thats Awesome! My first machine was a Gladiators as well! I bought and held onto it for about 2 years. Sold it when I needed money and instantly regretted it. Now every time I see one it makes me smile. I'm sure you know but that game was originally going to be a Zelda game but something happened and it turned into the Gladiators game you have! I'd also love to own a TNA what a fun game. I purchased a Tales From The Crypt for my second pin and it will never leave. I'm hooked on the call outs and artwork and the shots are perfect. Not so easy its boring but hard enough to bring you back for more every time. Congrats on your collection so far and thanks for sharing your story.
