Tron Legacy is my personal favorite right now. I need one in my collection eventually. The driving force of this game is it's awesome soundtrack. The lights shows, and many shots make it a joy to play. The cabinet is sexy. Overall a really nice package from a Disney title.

Time Machine is great, fun ramp shots and mulitball action, but the gimmick that won me over was the authentic chimes and knocker sounds fired off within the cabinet. It's even louder than my Taxi bell. Great sound effects and music as you advance through the 80s back to the 50s.

I am not a big Simpsons fan ever since the cartoon left the Tracy Ulman Show, but this pinball is pretty fun. I like the upper playfield and the monorail beam. The Skill shot is a good challenge too. No matter where I find one to play I notice faded cabinets, which always look terrible. If you love the Simpsons, this is the one for you, but i would personally like to see a licenced Futurama game instead.

This game hands down gets some serious applause for fun gadgets. Very innovatiove and fun with timed play, rather than ball play. It was such a great challenge to navigate the gameboard on the backglass. But triggering the token to roll down the playfeild glass, hit the lock bar and launch into your hand, was absoulte MAGIC! If you havent tried this one, it really is fun and unique. i guess thats why they called them Magic Tokens.

This game is tight. Loved the few details that really made it stand out. Namely the animated T=Rex that bent over over, picked up yoru ball, swalled and chewed. I also really loved the reverse Raptor kickback and the video mode skill shot where you shot a raptor with your gun.

I am still partial to the orginal High Speed, but with the fun uprades this game has, it is better overall. The gear shifter is fun and the supercharger accelerator is rad.

Give me your money! Haahaha! Still enjoy this dual playfeild game, mainly because of the music, the tune, and the smack talkin Black Knight. Get ready for battle, it's the Black Knight!

Ironman was good, but just didn't hit the homerun with me. It did't reall keep me engaged after playing a handful of times. The big robotic toy ended up not being too much of a big deal to me. meh.

I recently discovered the fn of this pin. I am am fan of the films and enjoyed the amny references withing the game like Liars Dice and other fun game modes. The ship toy is really cool and since you can actually sink it mae the game very fun.

Pretty nice game , although the theme isn't my favourite.
The playfeild layout seems to be a bit clustered for me.

I must admit, I was worried that I wouldnt like Tron Legacy, but after playing it, i was very impressed with everything. By far the most notable thing about this game is the music. Soundtracks straight from the film are excellent and really get you groovin' while you play. The sound effects compliment the target shots well. The 3rd flipper was a great challenge and the Light Cycle ramps are really neat. The Recognizer has an incredible blast of power. The cabinet is beautiful, and I actually liked the translite. Overall, a perfect score from me. I want one so bad.

The Next Trend begins with Motordome

i picked up a Motordome because it was inexpensive and I wanted to see what a Solid State was all about, and it turns out that it is challenging, and it has good classic appeal.

The game allows the player to choose their level of difficulty prior to launching the first ball. These difficulties are good in thier own ways, but add a nice complexity to the play if you choose a harder level.

To be honest, the music in this game is not very good, yet for its time, I assume it was borderline on the cutting edge. I will say that as I collect each letter for the million point shot, the slow durge that accompanies your play picks up tempo and goes thoughs several key changes. This ramps up my anxiety for that million point shot. So while the music isn't anything to remember or cherish, it does it's job for distracting you for that all important dual ramp saucer shot.

The ramps cover a great deal of this playfield, and this was the major reason i picked this game up. The ramps do not disappoint. Successfully navigating up to the top shot is a big challenge and that is what makes this game fun. It is hard, and you have to work for those points.

The playfield art is ok and captures the fun of the 80's, but I personally am not really into the apocalyptic motorcycling "mad max" genre. I really do love the mirrored look on the backglass with the silver balls and lightening bolts framing the art. The backglass is lit internally with a flourescent ring and it shines brighter and better than any of my other machines.

Speaking of lights, there is a boat load of them on and under the playfield giving great illumination and a packing a good punch. The downside of this is that replacing lights is a bit more complex as most everything is hard wired and stapled to the playfield underneath.

Overall, it is good game for it's era and it could be right up your ally if you prefer challenging shots and uber ramps. If the music really bugs you that much, you can always turn the volume down and crank up some Tina Turners "Thunder Dome" ^_^

Checkpoint is definitely a fun game and one you should try if you are up for challenge or if you have never tried it before.

The average time per ball in play was indicating about 15 seconds when I started playing, but skilled players will enjoy learning how to control the speed of the ball and carefully take aim at the ramp and targets.

The music selection at the top of the game is great. You can choose between Rock, Soul, Classical, Rap, Country and Jazz. This is nice because you can always change the music if it gets repetative for your next game.

Redline Multi-ball is crazy. Keeping multi-ball in play is tough. Try to cross the finish line target at the head of the ramp. Jackpots here are hard to get, but are so gratifying if you can pull it off.

The machine rumbles and goes crazy with a deluge of flashing strobes as it plays through various modes like the Blue Light Special.

The Blue Light Special is awarded by knocking down 7 targets to collect "CARRERA" and wins several nice awards. These targets targets get blasted hard, and sometimes kick the ball up into the glass. I really enjoy the occasionally ball snap against the glass.

The pop bumpers are fun, because they actually pop up and down as the ball ricochets about the area. Completing the lanes to spell "FAST", is also a challenge, but rewards you with Fast Scoring. Enabling this is a great way to pull into the lead as all switches increase the value to 55k each.

A few other fun features to mention is the ignition key to start the game and the spinning wheel in the backglass. The voice sound effects taunt you to go faster and the female voice does sound like Rocky from Bullwinkle. ^_^ This machine is also the first pinball to feature a Dot Matrix Display.

If you are car racing fan or like Porsche automobiles, you will really enjoy the cabinet artwork, backglass and the Porsche toy located on the playfield.

If you play with a friend, the best driver with the highest score has a special 20 second multi-ball Winners Circle mode to rack up additional victory points.

Overall, I am happy with the game as it offers a fast paced challenge and lots of unique features. I guess lots of people don't enjoy it as much because it is too difficult for them.

This my favourite of the coaster series from Williams. This one has my favourite music that is memorable. the ramps and shots are fun. I think my favorite thing is Dracula in the spook house. It is great to see characters reused from other games.

I just love this pin. It has the right feminine touches to be seductively sexy. The art package is great, especially on the cabinet. The rotating portrait ball locks are really unique and fun. I love hearing the bride sing after bringing her to life. it is such a great feeling to hear her heartbeat as the illumination pulses to the rythym.

I really want to like Whirlwind more, but it is very difficult to play. Love the rotating playfield discs, but if the out lanes are set to hard, you drain every time. Not fun. Definitely a challenge for advanced players, but I need to play more to get better at it.

This is a fun pin 2k version of Attack from Mars, however I am not fond of the smaller playfield. The interactive video targets are fun and the gamplay is simliar to AFM. Of the pin 2k's, this one is my favorite.

Another horror genre pin for my future collection. Love the ramps although the center playfield seems to be heavily congested and it is difficult to see the lanes behind it all. Overall fantastic music and and gameplay. It's always fun to illuminate the hologram creature in the playfield.

Being a fan of Family Guy, i was skeptical if this pin was going to be as fun to play as it is funny to watch the show. I was so shocked to hear the vulgar things being said as I skillfully landed my shots. I love it! Nothing better than Fart Multi-ball, ok wait, ipecac beats it. Mini fun with Stewie Pinball is the icing on the cake in the game geared for adults, that also enjoy mature humor.

If you are a ramps fan, like i am, then you will love the crazy ramps in White Water. I particularily love the ramps that emulates coaster inclines and drops, and the whirlpool. But, the star of the whole package has to go to the sasquatch. He makes me laugh with his goofy, spinning head. That waterfall animated topper is probably the best attention whore I have ever seen on pin.

This pin was the Grand Theft Auto of the 80's. Deliberate speeding, running red lights, and being pursued by the Police made this one heck of ride in my teen years. I love the topper siren as the cops dispatch units to simulate a pursuit. The sounds were amazing and the music keeps you pumped. It's another classic pin i will rememeber forever.

This will need to be the centerpiece of the horror genre in my future pinball collection. The overall look is stunning for its time. The multiple playfields with the unusual reversed basement, is a joy. The only trouble is, it's tough to keep the ball in play. But who cares about that when you have lightening bolts cascading down the backglass and spooky organs playing a menacing durge.

I really enjoy the concept of collecting challenges and defeating the individual riders on a vertical playfield course. This pin is huge and the magnet transfer from the lower, to the upright playfield amazed back then. "BANZAI!"

"Bitchin!" Here is another pin that takes me back to my youth. Between the valley girl saying the "B" word and the San Andreas Fault splitting in two to create a path to lock the ball, I was in pinball heaven. Music is timeless and is perfect for the California scene. The first time the machine starting pulsing as "EARTHSHAKER" was shouted out loud, I knew that this was going to eat boat loads of my quarters.

I really enjoy smacking Rudy in the kisser, but overall this pin is a bit difficult for me. Many of the shots are very hard to hit. I still don't understand the concept of the clock running out and the park closes? Perhaps I havent played it enough to appreciate it.

"Extra, Extra read all about it! Extra Ball!" ooooh how i loved that. Such an amazing game which incorparted all of the fun of the musical. The blinders are a real shock and become a extra special challenge. Being able to hear many of the songs form the show in this game is a very big bonus. I think my favourite feature of this game is seeing myself play it through the reflection of the big silver ball topper.

Star Trek TNG is my favourite of the series, and the pinball really shows the great dynamic the show had. Fun characetrs like Q will pop in and offer difficult challenges and the video mode through the tunnel is very tough to navigate without crashing into a wall or mine. Entire graphics package is stellar and the character voices are top notch. The game really draws you in. Now, if you can onlly find one with dual working photon cannons. :/

I love ringing that bell, but I am sure the neighbors don't. This is one those oldies but goodies games. The cross ramps are great and the random target pickups are a good challenge. I particularily love how the flashers illuminate the characters on the playfield and on the translite as they call for their pick up. Music is memorable and you can't help shouting or flipping the flippers when Gorby says "Hay!"

Scared Stiff is the perfect spooky pin. You can't go wrong with Elvira's wonderful inuendo's. Terror from the crate is a great ball capture, and activating the Stiffometer is real challenge.

I am quite surprised of the ratings for this one on here. I think this machine is the prime example of a licensed title. It's perfect, fun, and challenging. This machine has a special magic when Thing steals your ball off the playfield. Amazing music and sound, with voices that are priceless. Such a great combination of everything I like in pinball machines. It should be closer to the top of the list.

I really like the unique features of this game like the Ring Master, neon ramp, disappearing balloon pop bumper. I am not too fond of the menagerie ball as it can be in your way sometimes.

It take a lot to Destroy the Ring, but the journey is an incredible ride. This game has such a great layout that playing flows fast and easy. One small ding for the pixelation of the caninet art, but it looks great from a distance.

Great game to go along with a classic film license. Overall, super fun and challenging. Some shots are a bit difficult. The center drop shot behind INDY is narrow and tough along with the ramps. The path of adventure is hard to accomplish if the machine is not leveled correctly.

This game screams Beatlejuice's Rockin' Review, without Beatlejuice, of course. Dracula is a hoot with his playfeild antics and the comedy throughout all modes are fantastic. Great music, toys and the phantom flip feature is really neat. Rock on!

"ATTACK!" You can't beat Strobe Multi-ball. Spectacular sound effects and engaging gameplay. The frantic bouncing martian toys are hilarious. Sticking it to the martians is a blast, literally.

When random clips of other pinball music and themes start playing in this game, I know i am in the Twilight Zone. So many great features and a real challenge to play. You can't go wrong with the Powerball.

There is nothing quite like smack talking trolls to get you interested in this game. Ramps, a catapult, and plenty of comedy to keep everyone occupied for ages.
