this game all depends on the first shot/plung. you have to get the lighted scoop. Short plunge, bouncing it to the other side for just the shot right. IF you get it, your go yeah! if not you have to shot up the right or left orbit to get the lighted scoop. you have to know the rules to enjoy Jack in the Box..

John Papduke"s games are so different than any other designers in Pinball. I love all the magnets. too bad he has should a bad reputation. TOTAN is one of my all time favorites. I just finally got a CV. yes they are pricey but so much fun to play and just look at!!!!

Cleopatra Gottlieb, 1977
Cleopatra is a great representation of the 70's era. Beautiful Glass. The rules are easy to understand and follow. Cleopatra is a great starter game for anyone. The price is always right. I own cleopatra and always enjoy a game or 10 games. A good addition to a larger collection for varitity.

Class of 1812 Gottlieb, 1991
I enjoyed playing Class of 1812, whenever i could find it.. Class of 1812 is not in the wild often. Since only 1670 were made and we have no idea how many are still in existence. I finally found and bought one. What a fun and quirky game!!! The call outs are hilarious. The caller rhymes words for a laugh every time. Looking at the game makes you laugh. The shots are fun, not hard. The chattering and beating heart are so much fun! The play is a little weak but there is a goal. Raise your five dead friends from the dead and party. All in All i can not think of another game like Class of 1812

Meteor Stern Electronics, 1979
i love Steve Kirk games. I would suggest , if you have the room, to own Meteor for awhile. Meteor is a good starter game. The price is great, for hours of fun. I put the new voice and movie sound board in-- what a kick. $180. Eventually i will sell Meteor and get another Kirk game. My Stars and Swords of Fury are never leaving.

Jurassic Park (Pro) Stern, 2019
Kieth Elwin is the best designer at the present, I bought a IM. i passed on Jurassic Park, thinking i could pick up one cheaper at a later date. Was i WRONG. I bought a AIQ and a Godzilla. I began to look to buy a JP pro-- it is hard to find at resonable price. My opinion is the pro is just as good as the premium. I found one for $6000. Considering when Stern does their next run of Jurassic park, the price will be $6995 plus tax and shipping. Jurassic Park Pro is Very fun game with lots of action and goals. I do not reccomend JP for the casual pinball player. When i decide to play a Kieth Elwin game, i set aside at least 10-15 minutes You have to learn to trap the dinosaurs, save the employees and get to the visitor center---Having fun on the way with all sorts of shots.

Fun game if you like drop targets. my only beef is ---- when you plung the ball ,,,,,,if you do not get the lighted saucer you are screwed this takes no skill--- just luck

Firepower Williams, 1980
there is a reason FP is the 5th best selling pinball machine of all time. I finally obtained Firepower and am in the process of restoring FP. Most of the Firepowers i have seen, the play field is a wreak. I love the old call outs and speech. The game is easy to understand. The shots are just difficult enough, to make it fun. And yes getting the three saucers is better than the multi-ball. Visually it is a kick to look at.. Just a fun game to play with friends or alone.

i have had BSD on my wish list for a long time. Well I finally found one, in perfect shape. it looks brand new. Cash on the glass. BSD is everything i had hoped for. Great shots, great music, fun art and a little whimsical. More to come

Diamond Lady Gottlieb, 1988
I found a Diamond Lady, in a Bar, on a road trip thur nevada. I got a few games in. I immediately thought this is a cool quirky game. years later i just bought one. I love the drop targets. Pulling the plunger sets the mode. I will update my review in a few months. according to Pinball Database only 300 were sold in the United States, the other 2400 were shipped to Europe. Diamond Lady is a great game for the price.. More information to come. 1-2-2023 Diamond Lady is a great representative of that era. When i want to just relax and enjoy pinball, i play DL. She has great shots.

interesting game play. there is a timer to hit the drop targets. the drop targets are far from the flippers. Sound is above average and speeds up as your progress through the game. I just got access to counterforce i will edit my opioion soon

Lionman!!! the call outs are Great!! there are lots of good shots to master. I am drawn to Steve Kirk games. I like his design and execution. low run game and lots of fun. Buy one if you can, easy to sell if you get tired of LIONMAN!!!!!

Magic Stern Electronics, 1979
Magic is a great example of Stern 1979. I enjoy the play----for a while. Drop targets next to pop bumpers add to fast action. Its fun to shot the left and right orbits. Art is "Conan like" Colors are bright. If i see Magic in a arcade or collection. i will always play a few games. I bought and sold this game. I just stumbled on another Magic. I will move it along after a few months.

I found this game at the Museum of Pinball in Las Vegas. I had never seen it. because there were only 800 Made!!! i found this older game to be fast and furious. has a kickoff lane. ahead of its time. I will put this on my wish list. i found this game to make me want to play it again and again.

Starship Troopers Sega, 1997
I am a Starship Troopers movie fan. I have only found a few ST in the wild. I played Starship Troopers a few times and was drawn to the Querkyness. I found one at the MofP in Las Vegas (only 1500 made) what a fun game. My final vote is still out, but i want to play it more, in a room, where i can hear the sound and dim the lights. 3-24-23 I got ONE!!!! i could not be happier!! lots of great shots.. more info to come.

Come on Man!!!! Junk Yard is awesome!!! girl and guy get locked in a junk yard at night. they must procure parts to built a space ship to escape to outer space and defeat Crazy Bob!!!! How much fun and quirky!! great shots. easy to understand. great art. I am looking for one to add to the family. 2/8/23!!! I got one!!

Stargate Gottlieb, 1995
Yep! i finally got a Stargate. Every time i found one in the wild, the lighting was so bad, i never could get the feel off the game. Also in the wild i never could hear the music, sound or call outs. It'a a winner Stargate is all about multiball i like that. Its different than any pinball machine I have played. Every shot or plunge is a multiball. You have to think fast. very fun. Toys are great. If you do not want a multiball every plunge, stargate is not for you. I love the movie also. Theme is everything to my buying a game.

Atlantis is one of the best Ems. I played a lot of Lawman in the 70's, it has the same layout. I love the art. The chimes are representative of the time. If you love Drop targets and Nostalgia ---play on!!!!

Fathom Bally, 1981
My buddy, Glen, bought a fathom and restored it to its former glory. I have always enjoyed looking at the fathom art on the cabinet and backless, This is when i could find Fathom in the wild. Glen proceeded to showed me the rules and the shots!! OMG! What a great game. Spinners, saucers, drop targets!!! The rules are deep. Glen explained the backless. Mermaids dragging a scuba diver down into the bottom of the sea. Beautiful and crazy..

Dragon EM Gottlieb, 1978
When Visit my new granddaughter in Boise Idaho I go to Jeremy's Downtown Arcade in Nampa. He has 8 pinball games and lots of video games. One price to play hours. One of the pins is Dragon. The EM version. I love the art!! What a kick to the 70's . Colorful, fantasy and sexy. When i pressed play the good old 70"s sounds came alive. The rules are simple and the play is a little slow. But that's the 70"s!!!!! I would like to own Dragon for awhile and play the hell out of it.

Strikes and Spares Bally, 1978
I found a Strikes and Spares at the "Space Bar" in Boise Idaho. A covid road trip to stop from going stir crazy. The Backglass is the best! Disco Fever. A spinner and a saucer, what fun. Three pop bumpers. The rules are fun and easy. I started researching S&S. !2,000 made? where are they?? S&S is ranked 181?? weird. hours of fun. I love the transition "chimes" sound as we go from chimes to SS. All and all great bang for the $$$ buck.

Avengers: Infinity Quest (Limited Edition) Stern, 2020
Kieth does “IT” again.. Kieth just gets better with each game. Yeehaw! UPDATE-- AFTER 50 DAYS OF PLAY YES! The music is great. I love the "Art" The shots are challenging. I am always finding new ways to achieve the goal. When I buy a machine the theme, coder and designer are very important. This is another reason I love pinball. There is a machine for everyones taste. If i ask 10 of my pinball friends what is their favorite machine. I usually get ten different answers (machines). Play more Pinball!!

Wild Fyre Stern Electronics, 1978
I found Wild Fyre at a pizza house in twin falls idaho. I look for pinball machines when i am traveling.. i found Wild Fyre fun to play!! there are not that many around to play. Only 2400 were made so finding one was a treat. lots to look at and lots of things to shot at. spinner, saucers, drops targets, pop bumpers, YEEHAW!! I soon found out the saucer in the upper right gave you all the bonus points, Still a very fun game to find on a ROAD TRIP!!!! PLAY MORE PINBALL. ----- as Wild Fyre was in a pizza parlor i really can not comment on the sound. UPADATE 11-20-22 I GOT ONE!!!!! OMG!!! I love Wild Fyre!!! A Great example of 1978 early stern solid state. Fun shots and not to hard to understand. A perfect pin for a "collection" - more than 5. JUST PLAIN FUN. Why better than Magic-- I bought a Magic and sold it.......

Supersonic Bally, 1979
It seems like Supersonic does not get the love!! I like the rules and simplicity of some of the older games. Shooting the drop targets down over and over is total fun! Yes The scoop shot is easy to get 5X. Getting 1-5 lane shots over and over again is fun also. Ripping a spinner is always satisfying. Supersonic represents a time in pinball I love. The sounds are awesome. For $800-$1000 Supersonic is well worth the money.

White Water Williams, 1993
When I step up to WW, I get a smile on my face. Its a FUN looking game and layout. The theme is comical. The shots are just hard enough to be challenging, over and over again. The rules are deep. The music is one of the best. The music is changing as you progress in the game. If you reach a certain level(score), the music changes. Plus the music awesome. Yes WW will take your ball if you are not making your shots, but this is what makes WW one of the best games. Very fast.

The Avengers (Pro) Stern, 2012
Wow. I bought Avengers pro NIB. I could never be happier. I have bought and sold 20 game since then. Avengers is a keeper. You have to complete all five shots five times to get to wizard mode. Very difficult. ramp, orbits, and side thor shot, The call outs are very comicy, like they should be. I put a color DMD in mine and it makes all the difference in the world!!! I like George Gomez games. this is one of his best.. funny how everyone in pinball has different opinons on what is the best? pin.

The Shadow stands the sands of Time. At one time I bought the old Shadow radio tapes. Awesome. Orson Wells and the Shadow!!! Now i have the Game. Brian Eddy did a fantastic job of shots, play and flow. Lots to shot for. The Call outs are some of the best. A Keeper.

I really like playing JM, when I can find it. Hummmmm. As per other games with low production runs, my final rating is still to be seen. I am looking to buy JM as soon as I can. JM might rate a keeper. I like Keenu Reeves and his movies. The JM movie was an interesting Sci-fi movie. UPDATE. 3-29-19 "I GOT ONE" JM IS WAY MORE FUN THEN I EXPECTED. FAST AND FUN. I am a George Gomez fan!! Great shots. Could be one of my "FOREVER" pins.

David H’s big head on back glass is annoying. The play is fun. Shots are fun.. I would be interested in owning Baywatch someday. Maybe not a keeper forever—— but we will see. I definitely would put a color DMD in. The game pops with a color DMD. 11-15-19 close to buying Baywatch with toys and color DMD. we will see. 2-1-20 Yes I bought Baywatch! Yes Baywatch had Color DMD. Yes Baywatch exceeded my expectations. yes i have a shark, truck and helicopter toys. Four flippers is so much fun. The shark flipper is unique as you use the shark flipper for the whole shot and to keep the ball from draining down the right orbit. Yes the music and lighting are lacking. Overall Joe Balcer did a great job, the game is different. I try to have different designers in my pinball collection. Baywatch is Fun!! oh also i live near the Beach.

Abra Ca Dabra Gottlieb, 1975
The only draw back on this style of Em is that they are one player games. If Abra Ca Dabra was a 2 or 4 player game, i think it would be rated higher . Also like Centigrade 37 it is hard to find one to play (and works) The shots are great. It is hard to get to the Red 5000! If you like drop targets----- this is the ONE!

One of the games I have on my want list. I have put in offers on several Centigrade 37's. I have not owned one yet!!!!! I think Centigarde 37 is on of the best if not thee best Em. The game play and shots are well thought out. I love the theme and Art. Hard to find.

Star Trek (Premium) Stern, 2013
I really like Star Trek, the series. The game is the best Richie game. Updated 2-20-23 i just bought a Spiderman, obviously i love the flow of Steve Richie games. Steves games are easy to learn and fun to play. I was disappointed at Led Zeppelin,but you can not the win the all. I now search games #1 play #2 Designer #3 theme. Play more pinball!!!!

Ghostbusters (Premium) Stern, 2016
The theme is VERY important to me. I love the Ghostbusters. I look forward to the game play over and over. The art is fantastic. There is alway a new way to play the game and score points UPDATE 1-28-23I installed plastic covers over the upper and lower lanes. This stopped the ball bouncing out of the lanes. The plastics has a "kirk Kick" in the main drain. This has made the game ALOT more fun.. The Kirk Kick puts the ball back in play 15% of the time. Its a shame the gap(between the flippers) in the original design is so large.

Bronco Gottlieb, 1977
I love Gottlieb Ems, so i am prejudice. I love the artwork and the chimes. I can not figure out way Bronco dropped so much in ratings. Bronco is a great game for the time. I think it is a really fun game with many shots and keeps me interested. Gottlieb sold over 9000+!!!!! HaHa ----9000 buyers ( and payed their money!!!!!) thought the game stunk??????
